[color=indigo]Hmm, guess I'll give this a shot. I should have time to post pretty regularly now. Anyway, if no one else is going to be a character from one of the classics, I will. Cecil is still one of my favorites out of any of the main characters from the games.

[b]Character Name:[/b] Cecil

[b]Game:[/b] Final Fantasy IV

[b]Bio:[/b] Cecil was a dark knight working for the king of Baron (Baron was one of the larger nations in the world) as the commander of the Red Wings, Baron's fleet of airships. When the king started having him steal the crystals, he questioned the king's motives, which got him relieved of his command. After being sent off to the town of Mist to deliver a package with his friend Kain, he learned that the king's plot to steal the crystals went much deeper than he ever thought. (In fact, it was deeper than he thought then, too; he learned how deep in really went quite a bit later).

During his quest to stop Golbez from getting all of the crystals (the king of Baron had been manipulated by Golbez) Cecil became a paladin, casting off his darkness in exchange for the light, for only one of light could defeat darkness. With this change came not only more power, but also the ability to use some of the weaker white magic spells. (The highest he gets is Cure 2). After fighting Golbez (multiple times), he learns the true nature of the plot.

(Major spoilers about the plot of FFIV here, so I'm blacking them out for those who don't want to know).
[spoiler]Golbez was not even an enemy. It turned out that the Lunarians, a race far ahead of the humans technologically, had come to earth in search of a new planet. Finding the humans already there, they decided to wait until the time came when they could make contact without the humans panicking, so they settled themself on one of earths moons until the right time came to make contact. One of the Lunarians, however, was hostile and wanted to wipe out the humans and simply take the planet. His name was Zemus and he ended up having to be sealed away in a deep hibernation down in the moons core. Over time, however, Zemus begain to wake, and was able to use his power to control some of those on earth; Golbez was one of them. Cecil, with the help of some friends, traveled to the moon in a ship called the Big Whale, which was left on earth by the Lunarians. There he learned of Zemus and the Lunarians, and eventually descended to the core of the moon and defeated Zemus.[/spoiler]

Personality-wise, Cecil is a bit on the quite side, but very determined. He has a strong sense of right and wrong, and he always protects his friends and those that can't protect themselves.

[b]Bio:[/b] Zell grew up in Balamb and became a Balamb Garden student at age 13. He's quite well known for being a rowdy young man and tends to act before he's thought a situation through properly. Because of this, people don't tend to take him seriously when he has something important to say. He also has an inexcusable love of hotdogs! ;)

Wow, nine players... One more and we're ready to go! I just hope the last one would be a female, so that the male characters wouldn't be overdominant (if that is even a word... :rolleyes: ) BTW, male persons, remember that you can play a character of the opposite sex (just take example of Gin ;) ). And we don't have any villain-characters yet - maybe because they all died in the games, but that shouldn't bother you! :huh:

And good luck finding Cecil avatars, heh. Other than sprites from the game (which I already have, as you can see from the pics I posted), there isn't much out there besides one official artwork pic of him. (Though I don't think that one is very good--it makes him look a lot older than he seems in the game). If I were to use an avatar of him, though, I'd just use the menu screen pic which I posted.

Heh, maybe someone should play as Rosa from FFIV. Get a little love action going between her and Cecil, heheh. :naughty:[/color]

After the horrible incident with Nibelheim being burnt down, Sephiroth going insane, and himself being experimented on in a tank of Mako, Zack decided to leave SOLDIER and become a mercenary in Midgar.
But in a sick twist of fate, he was gunned down by troops upon reaching the mountain Midgar-'side.

Um..let's just say thanks to being tweaked and tinkered with in a Mako test-tube he woke up an hour later with a biig hangover, and in a more than slightly-pissed off mood

Well, this is actually good, since now we can delete one player that isn't interested in this game. So, I'm going to start the game, and the ten first people to arrive at Highwind will be in, and the last... won't. Sorry, but I had to kick out several characters out of the last game because the players weren't posting, so this tests how much you guys want to be in.

Of course you MAY ask! The eviction works rather similar to the tv-show: the team that loses a challenge will gather in Cid's airship (which depends on the world the game is currently going on, just like Cid's appereance), and then the team-members will vote off one among them (and a new captain to the team) by sending me a private message. Then you all just wait nicely until I come to announce the results. Only the last election is different, but I've already told about that in the actual thread.
