Have any of you watched this show? I watched it once, only because this girl in my Language Arts class sang "Blue" in it. But I realized that the person they pick can only be talented in the performing arts, and the show's judges are pretty crappy from what I cant tell.

It's a rip off of the new Star Search, which is a rip off of American Idol, which is a rip off of Pop Idol, which is a rip off of th original Star Search... which I'm sure was a rip off of something else.

Yeah, the american meaning of "talent" only revolves around "fake" singing and sports.

I've never been a big fan of Star Search and all those reality programs that involve music. *Talking to the Musically Impaired here* This recent reality show America's Most talented kid was made simply to get the jump on American Idol Jr. which is supposidly going to be the next season of AI or coincide with it.

-__- Remember just say no to crappy singing reality shows..they rot your brain.

I see the commercials for this show and I refuse to watch it.

For every kid on the commercial that looks like they might have some talent that actually could amount to something (singing really well, playing something etc) there is some goofy kid in gigantic clothes acting like he is a hardcore rapper, hopping around like an idiot while busting out hand gestures and so on. That just bothers me.

That and the fact that I don't think some of the kids are at an age where it's smart to be pushing them this hard, but in the end I guess it's family's (and sometimes the kid's) decision.

uuurgh....reality TV. 2/3 of the American public hates 'em, the other 1/3 is on a reality show. When will networks realize it's over....

Anyhow, exploiting kids on TV like that is tottally wrong. Just think....you're 8 years old, and you see yourself fail on TV....along with the rest of America, or the 2/3 that isnt on a reality show....

Voicing my opinions you dont really care about,
