Here it is my RPG The Legacy of Karn: Breaking Point. Enjoy!
Oyeah!

Sophia: But why? Why must you leave?

Sophia held on to Karn tightly and cried onto his shoulder. Karn gently lifted Sophia's face and wiped the tears away with his hand.

Karn: Because if the Talossans manage to get Lilarcor Valley, then Aldabran is just a stone's throw away. Sophia you must understand!

Sophia: I know... but why you? Why not get someone else to fight?

Karn: Sweetheart, it's not just me fighting. Hundreds of thousands of men are fighting with me. The Talossans have a huge army. The Helmites need every man they can get.

Sophia punched Karn's arm a few times.

Sophia: Don't go! DON'T GO!

Karn: I'm...I'm sorry!

Karn kissed his wife on the forehead, then turned around and walked away.
Sophia yellled after him.

Sophia: Please?

Karn didn't stop. He treid his best to ignore her.

Sophia: But...I'm pregnant!

Karn froze. He stood there for a moment and then walked back towards her.

Karn: Pregnant?

Sophia sniffed and slowly shook her head. Karn embraced his wife again.

Karn: If I don't go, then there mightn't be a home to go back to. I have to go to protect you...

Sophia turned her head away.
Karn smiled.

Karn: Have you thought of any names?

Sophia's scowl slowly changed into a slight smile.

Sophia: Well, if it's a girl I was thinking maybe Alex or Kristy. If it's a boy I was thinking James or maybe Sean, like my father's name.

Karn: Sean...I like it!

Suddenly Karn was kneeling in a pool of blood. He looked around and saw a cloaked man attacking his wife and a small child.

Karn: NOOOOOO!

Karn drew his blade and swung it at the man's head, a sure decapitation. But the blade passed through the man. In a rage Karn fierecely swung and hacked and slashed to no success, all the while witnessing the man cut of the boys arm.

Sophia: Sean!

The murderer turned on his wife and impaled the sword into her stomach. Karn was still swinging his sword like a madman.
Sophia fell and the murderer ransacked Karn's estate and fled. Karn knelt beside his wife. She crawled on her hands and knees over to the crying child. She clutched him in her arms and sang to him to stop the crying before passing away.

Karn ran outside the door ad called for help. He ran up to people and told them what happened but they didm't seem to hear him.

Karn: HELP! I NEED HEEELLPPPPPP!!!

Karn yelled and sat up in his bed. He sat there panting and trying to catch his breath.

Karn: It was a dream...

He wiped the sweat off his forehead. And had a look of relief on his face. He remembered the dream and started cying onto his pillow.

Karn: Sophia... Sean... I'm sorry...

*THE NEXT MORNING*

Before the sun had risen above the mountains Karn walked to the burial site of his deceased wife and son.
On his sons grave his placed a toy truck and on his wife's he placed a single red rose.

Karn made up his mind. They could not rest in the afterlife when this crime went unpunished. He gathered the things he needed and set off on his journey.

But Karn was stopped by a familiar voice.

Sir Ryan: Off on another adventure Karn?

Karn turned to face his old friend although Karn was not in the mood for idle chatter.

Karn: Something like that.

Sir Ryan: You won't rest until you avenge them will you?

Karn didn't answer.

Sir Ryan: Here take this.

Sir Ryan handed to Karn an old but obviously well crafted sword.

Sir Ryan: It's dangerous out there so I want you to have it. I'm too old for adventuring these days. The sword's called Helm's Grace. It's magic and was enchanted by the old mage Shazaran a long time ago. This number has gotten me out of some sticky situations before. I think you will find it useful.

The only word that came out of Karn's mouth was "Thanks".

Sir Ryan: Go child. With Helm's blessing.

Karn turned his back on Sir Ryan and walked away. Where was Helm when his wife and son needed him?

Karn left Aldabran and set off on his adventure.

Oh Christ, you put me in your sig...
---------------
Alain- "Another." I tapped the bar idly and waited for the bartender to pour my drink. Slowly the glass was filled with a rose colored liquid. I downed it in one jerk of my head. Being fallen certainly has it's downsides. "You can't get drunk..."

Bartender- "Pardon me sir?" I shook my head and slid three gold pieces onto the bar. "It's not enough, sir. You had thirteen glasses..." Glaring at the man, I reached in and got another two. He knodded. A fallen angel. Barely able to live without being shunned. All that knew who I was hated and dispised me. The one's that didn't welcomed my power and loved me for it. Or was it my power they loved? No matter. Being with someone that doesn't like you is better than solitude.

I grabbed my bag and left the small building they called a bar. Never in my life had I tasted such a horrible wine. So young. I shook my head again, attempting to clear it of meaningless thoughts. It was no use. When your age escapes you, all things eventually seem meaningless. So where was it you were off to again?

Alain- "Heaven? Hell? I'll settle for a bed..." They say talking to yourself is a sign of insanity. "It's merely a sign of an elightened thinker..."

Amber walked into a small town with Mango trotting at her heels.
Everyone gave her wierd looks...like usual.They just ignored them,they were used to it by now.She walked around the town.She stopped for food and then exited the town again.She twirled her glaive like a baton.Mango growled dangerously.
Amber:What's wrong girl??
She looked the way that Mango was growling at.Suddenly Mango raced off.Amber blinked then ran after her.Soon she saw Mango growling at a man.The man was poised to attack.He had his sword out ready.
Amber ran out:NO!
The man turned to face her.Amber whistled and Mango trotted to her side.
Amber:Sorry sir.Don't mind Mango.
Man:It's ok.
He said sheathing his sword.
Amber:Excuse my asking,but what's your name??
Man:Oh sorry.How rude of me.I'm Karn.And you are??
Amber:I'm Amber and this is my friend Mango.Sorry she attacked you.
Karn: Don't worry about it.
Amber:So what are you doing out here??
Karn:I could ask you the same question.
Amber:I'm going on a journey.
Karn:What a coincidence.So am I.
Amber:What for??
Karn told the story of his wife and Sean.
Amber told her story about her parents too.
They both understood each other.

Le'vana picked up the flaming torch, looking at the crowding neighbors. She raised the torch and brought it down on the side of her house, immediately setting it afire. Turning her back to the flaming site, she walked through the gathering crowd, dragging her items behind. Nearing a inn, she hoisted her bag on her shoulders and continued walking.

"Ah, Miss Fedor, come in." the innkeeper spoke, seeing her stumble to the door. He picked up her bag, showing her to a room. "Well, here you go."

Le'vana opened her bag, "How much do I owe you, innkeep?" he chuckled slightly, turning to leave.

"Nothing, my dear. That's the least I could do..." Le'vana sighed as the door closed behind her. I need to rest... she thought, looking at the bed. No, I'll earn my room...I'm not going to sit in here. Sighing again, she walked out of the room and headed to the innkeeper.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"You what?!" he blinked slowly, hearing her offer. "Let you work here for the night?! Why would I do such a thing?"
Le'vana looked at the elder man, "Please? It's the least I could do." He looked at her sharply, seeing that she wouldn't back down.
"Alright. Since you're leaving tomorrow..." he paused, thinking for words. "Well, I'm sure you know how to run a inn, right? Well, good night." she waved him goodbye, sitting down. Drumming her fingers, she nodded off a little...but then, the door opened...
Slowly walking across the streets of the quiet town, Dren looked down upon the ground, deep in thought as the hood of his cloak fell upon his head. Several memories began to come to mind, memories of his mentor Kai'mera, how Dren found him dead in his own bed. He was an old man, even for a mage, and he had left Dren alone in the world. He couldn't go back home, how would everyone react? His friends and family, he left them, fourteen long years ago, they wouldn't just take him back after what he did, would they?
"HEY! Watch where you're going!"
Dren snapped out if his hypnotic daze and realized that he had run into a small child and knocked them over.
"I'm..I'm sorry. I'm just not paying attention to where I'm going."
The child ran off, Dren looked up and took the hood off his face. He searched about the street, people going about their business, trying to ignore Dren as if he wasn't there. Many people were suspicious of mages in these times. They were thought to be bad omens who brought trouble wherever they went. Some knew that this was just nonsense and threated Dren as an everyday person, which brought some gladness to him.
Noticing the sign of a tavern, Dren began to quicken his pace towards the entry of the building. As he entered the establishment, he looked around and saw that if was virtually empty, except for a man who made the bartender nervous, and a simple commoner enjoying his glass of ale.
Dren sat down next to the peasant and began to make inquiries about the other person there.
"Who is that man over there? Why is everyone avoiding his like a ghost?"
"That would be one of them fallen angels I think. He don't act to bad or anything, just that people in this town are very suspicious of anything that isn't considered normal."
"Thank, here...I'll shout you another ale for your help."
Tryant was riding his horse in the open plain. It was sunny out so it made it easy for him to see the landmarks the map showed. He was riding along and then suddenly he is attacked by something. He falls off his horse and the horse runs away.
The thing that talked to him was not human
????: Why are you here.
Tryant: None of your business why did you attack me
????: Tell me now or I'll do worse than knock you off a horse.
The thing smiled revealing his sharp pointed teeth
Tryant: I'm sorry but I'm not allowed to disclose the information so just stand aside before I am forced to take action.
????; Ha
the creature jumps at tryant but tryant avoids it and pulls out Razor's Edge and slices the creature in two blood splattering on his armor
Tryant: Great now i need a new horse and my armor washed.
he looks at the map .
Tryant(thinking): there is a town north of here. I'll have to make haste so as not to be here in nightfall in this dangerous place
Tryant sheathes Razor's Edge and starts running to the town.
Sakuramon I think it's better if Karn and Amber haven't met just yet. Maybe later but not now.
I'll start to get into the story soon.
Oyeah!
It's funny how things change. One minute your a town hero, a war veteran. The next your a fallen paladin-a man with no honor, a man shuuned from the order. Nobody wants to know you, nobody wants to be around you. People instantly think because you're a fallen paladin you're evil.
This didn't bother Karn. He was fine with the fact that people were scared of him and didn't want anything to do with him. He didn't really feel like socialising.
He walked along a narrow path kicking up dirt as he walked. He stared thoughtfully at his wife's handkerchief. It was all he had left of her other than the memories.
But these dreams that come while Karn sleeps...
Amber walked through the foresty place with Mango trotting at her heals.Now and again there were small noises in the bush.She twirled her glaive like a batton and then flipped it up and twirled it again.
Mango ran ahead and played around in some moss.Amber chuckled at her frolicking.
Amber:Okay Mango!Let's go!!
Mango got up and followed Amber through the forest.
They finally reached the open air.It was a large field with a river down the side.
OOC: Read the posts more carefully enigma. I left the bar. I will play it your way simply because it's easier than completly ignoring your post.
~~~

??- "Who is that man over there?" The voice dropped and the rest of the conversation was lost in the drafty bar. I turned my head carefully and glanced at the man. A red robe. Must be a mage... Let's check, shall we?

I closed my eyes and began scanning the room. It was an ability that I retained from when I was acended. Five human auras. Two on the inside, three right outside. Me, a black and tormented mass of light, and the mage. His was crystaline and blue, easily broken. I reached out with my mind and gripped it. The mage's chest gave a heave. He cried out sharply and dropped to his knees, attempting to breath. I relesed my grip, stood up, and walked over to him.

Alain- "Don't follow." I walked out of the tavern and began walking north.

OOC: Oops. Sorry, I must have missed that part.
~~~~~~
Dren kneeled helplessy to the ground, gasping for air. His breath slowly began to return to him. Terrified by what just occured, he decided to take the fallen angels advice and stay back, but knew that with someone like him around, sooner or later they would meet each other once more, and maybe it wouldn't be too pleasant a sight.
Bartender: "Know do you see why people like you or him aren't too welcome in places like this. Causes trouble, and trouble is something no one wants around here, so it best be wise you lay low whilst you be staying here."
Dren:"I'll keep that in mind."
Dren walked outside the tavern and looked about to see if the fallen angel had gone. Not seeing anything, he once again began his slow pacing down the street.
"Where to go now? Hmmm... Perhaps there is a guild around here or a magic shop, but judging by the people around here, I doubt I'd have any luck."
OOC: Welcome oh great and evil one, etc. Whatever.
IC: Rali leant back on his bed, absently through knives at the walll opposite. The small inn he stayed in had been roughed up enough the night before that a few extra scratches wouldn't matter. Rali disapproved of killing people without payment normally. Normally didn't extend to having a bottle broken over his back.
Of course, the idiot hadn't counted on a snap kick to the jaw followed up with a rising elbow. His friends hadn't counted on the loud crack his neck made when it broke, and the bartender probably didn't count on Rali killing the two guards that tried to attack him with their own swords.
But life was like that. People get annoyed at you, tried to kill you, and then you fed their weapons to them. Occasionally hilt first, just to be cruel and unusual. Cruel and unusual was a forté of Rali's...
Countless assassinations, countless splatters of blood on his hands. Each one unique, each one a work of art in its own way. Ah, there had been a mistake or two, but that had only been overkill. Kill the people in the room means kill the people in the room, even if the man was hosting a small party... Burn it all meant burn it all. Rali told all his employers that same thing when something like that happened. Don't say what you don't mean because I'm likely to believe it. Then promptly had to take his fee out of their skin, quite close to the bone, when they decided to tell him that he had agreed to do the job without pay. He didn't care anymore though. He was firmly convinced that the various races were finally populous enough that a small massacre here and there was not only survivable, but also warranted. And let's face, he loved the notoriety, and he didn't realy have anything better to do.
OOC: Please. Please put a little more effort into your posts Sakuramon. They're almost painful to read.
~~~

It wasn't your fault, you know.

Alain- "Yes it was..." The voice had become far more pronounced over the last hour. It had it's own tone, it's own dialect and moods.

No, it wasn't. They threw you out because you succumbed to your obviously normal impulses. She was beautiful after all...

I shook my head in vain, attempting to make the voice go away. It mumbled things about insanity to my weary mind. In fact, I was most likely going insane. It wouldn't surprise me.

After all those years down here. How could you not go insane?

I nodded weakly and cursed myself for giving the voice recognition. It would simply get louder now.

Alain- "Please.... Just shut up." I heard a tsking sound in my mind.

But I'm not even here.

And all at once everything got quiet. No more voice. No more arguments. No more mumbles. Complete silence. I smiled to myself and began walking toward the town of Jordin. I had affairs there.

Amber and Mango saw a town near by.They decided to walk in.Everyone stayed away from them though because of Mango.No one knows that Mango's kind.They walked into a shop to buy some extra supplies.Everyone stared at them like freaks in a circus.Amber whispered something to Mango and Mango left.Then she continued what she needed to do.She then left and went out in search for her trusty companion.Mnago it seems had gone back to the river because Amber couldn't find her.

Amber left town and headed to the river.But she was surprised to see another hunter trying to capture Mango.
Amber twirled her glaive and charged at the hunter.The hunter was surprised to see her.Amber tackled him to the ground and pointed the tip of the glaive at his neck.
Amber:What are you doing?!?!
Hunter:I'm trying to capture that wolf there.
Amber:well you can't it's mine.Now leave here!
Amber eased her glaive off of him and he ran away.
Amber checked Mango for any wounds.He had a graze on his side.

She took Mango back to the town and to a vet/healer.He bandaged the wound and said that they had to be more careful.They left town once more and continued the journey.

Karn returned to this place. His place that was somewhere between reality and imagination.
Sophia held Karn tight and didn't let go. She smothered him in kisses

Sophia: I missed you so much!

Karn: I missed you to!

How could Karn talk, hold and kiss a dead person?
He didn't care.

Karn caught a glimse of a little head looking at Karn from behind Sophia. He looked back but it hid back behind her. Sophia smiled.

Sophia: Karn, allow me to introduce you to Sean, your son.

Although Karn had already seen Sean before, it was under more unfortunate circumstances. He had not seen him alive before.

Karn: Hello Sean.

Sean was shy and kept his distance from this stranger who claimed to be his dad.
Karn pulled out a toy truck that belonged to Sean. He found it at his old house that day...

Karn: I believe this belongs to you.

Sean looked at the old toy truck that appeared that it had seen good use. Curiosity got the better of Sean.

Sean: This truck is mine!

Sean snapped at Karn.

Karn: It was-I mean is, and I'm returning it to you.

Sean glared at Karn but his expression changed.

Sean: Thank you...daddy

Sean jumped up into Karn's loving arms. Karn hugged him.

*SNAP!*

Karn shot up at the sound of a twig snapping. Another dream? Although this one was better than the others. Karn was actually in the dream. Somehow he was there with his family.
then there was a crunching noice. Someone was nearby. He sensed evil. Karn slowly got up and picked up his trusty sword.
He stood there ready for an attack although he could not see anyone in the darkness of the night. The only light was the faint glow of the moon.
Karn surveyed the area. THERE!
He ran at the target but got shot in his ribcage by an arrow. This did not slow him down.
He struck his attacker with a punch to the jaw. While the cloaked man was on the ground Karn pointed his sword to his neck.

Cloaked figure: Kill me! Isn't that what you want to do!

Karn hesitated. What did he say? Is he the bastard that killed his family?
The figure laughed at Karn's unwillingness to kill straight away.

Cloaked figure: Say Karn, how is your dead wife? Ha ha ha!

Karn was about to slash his neck. When a sharp pain shot up his body. Karn dropped his sword. The arrow. He pulled the arrow from his side.

Karn: P..P...Poison!

He collapsed paralysed and the asasin made his quick get away.

Karn: Sophia...Sean...

Everything went black.

OOC: I read it. So what?
I'd like to keep that part there if I may. I thought it was really good. If you don't want it to be your character then maybe it could be someone else eg. someone from the same clan as you or maybe your sidekick or apprentice.
I am going on holidays soon and I would like you guys to continue the story without me. Feel free to introduce new chracters etc. if it is relevant to the storyline.
Tell me what I did wrong please. I have to think...

Amber ran for her life as the killer returned for her.
She screamed in panic as the killer drew closer.'Where was Mango?'
she thought to herself.The killer drew his weapon and prepared to shoot.She ran faster and faster.Her glaive had disappeared as well.
'No!' she thought.She heard the killer click the safety.He was preparing to shoot her down.'Why is this happening?!At least I'll be with Mum and Dad!' she thought.Amber kept running.She heard the bullet coming towards her.
She sat up in a cold sweat.She looked around.Her backpack,glaive and Mango was there.'It was a dream?!But it seemed so real...' She went to the river and splashed water on herself.It was just a nightmare.But it was so realistic.She petted Mango softly and slowly drifted back into a dreamless sleep.

OOC: Sakuramon, umm...when you say "bullets", do you mean the little slingshot bullets or bullets as in from a gun?

IC:After many frustating attempts of searching for a guild hall in the town, Dren finally came across a building that seemed out of place from the others. Looking upon the well-built structure, Dren noticed a strange symbol attachted to the front of the building, the sign of the mages guild.

With a sigh of relief and accomplishment, Dren cautiously walked into the building, hoping not to come across any pillagers or paranoid villagers. As he looked inside he found that there was nobody inside, not a single soul was to be found. Gazing about at the wondrous craftsmenship and sensing the many magics that had been made within the building made Dren feel at peace and belonging.

Walking about the guild, Dren came across libraries, filled with scrolls and books of ancient lore, alchemy setups where past mages had created the spells and magical ailments, and several other rooms containg inventories of enchanted equipment for the travelling mage.

Feeling somewhat tired, Dren went into the library and started surveying the shelves for anything of interest. Finding several biographys of past and famous mages, he sat down upon the nearyby chairs and table and began to read upon the lifes and accomplishments of mages written into lore.

OOC: Phew! Close to 1000 words here! It took me nearly and hour to plan and type! I started typing and I couldn't stop. Enjoy!

Oyeah!

Karn eyes slowly opened and he squinted at the blinding sun.

Ajit: Rise and shine boy!

A large, muscular man towered over Karn and roughly picked him off the ground and on to his feet.
Karn winced. He was in pain from where he had been hit by the arrow. The wound had been stitched up and bathed and all of Karn's equipment had been taken.
Karn had to look up high to see the man's face. The man was at lest 8 feet tall.

Karn: Where am I?

Ajit: You're in hell!

The man knocked Karn to the ground and proceeded to kick in to his body. Karn, although as strong as he was, had been weakened by the poison and was powerless to resist the blows.

Daar: That's enough, Ajit!

A man interfered. Although this man was a lot smaller than the other, and Karn even, Ajit obeyed him without thinking twice. There was obviously something powerful about him.

Daar: Ajit we can't have you beating up all of the slaves! Who would want to buy one that is all cut up and bruised?

Ajit: But Daar, I mean sir-

Daar: But nothing! Now go off and groom my horses! We are about to leave soon.

With that Daar left. Ajit's face shone with embarrassment and anger.

Karn: Now go do your chores, like a good boy.

Ajit spat on Karn's face before locking Karn up in a small, damp cell.
Ajit mumbled to himself as he left.

Ajit: Ajit we can't have you beating up all of the slaves! Who would want to buy one that is all cut up and bruised? If I had my damn way I would have the pig skinned alive...

The rest that he said Karn could not hear.

Karn thought to himself.
Karn: Is what was said true? Am I now a slave?

*THE NEXT MORNING*

Karn heard voices while he slept.

Voice 1: Is that the guy?

Voice 2: Yeah, that's him all right. I had to guard him last night.

Voice 1: That's a shame! You know Fred?

Voice 2: What about him?

Voice 1: He had a party last night.

Voice 2: Yeah?

Voice 1: His 21st. Man it was great. There was beer and belly dancers...

Voice 2: Beer and belly dancers? Is that it?

Voice 1: What more could you want at a party?

Voice 2: True. Would you look at this fella? He gave me the creeps last night!

Voice 1: Why what happened?

Voice 2: Well as I said, I had to guard him last night. But he kept having these fits. He'd sit there screaming and shouting out these people's names "Sophia" and "Sean".

Voice 1: Sophia and Sean? Who are they?

Voice 2: I don't know probably people he killed.

Voice 1: Well come on let's find Fred. He'll tell you more about what you missed!

Karn was awoken by a dirty looking man.

Dirty man: Get up you! It's time to leave!

Karn was hurried out of the bandit camp and he, Ajit, Daar and another twenty other armed men travelled across a desert unfamiliar to Karn.

Karn: Where are we going?

Ajit: What!?

Karn: Where are we going?

Ajit: Heh, we're going to turn you into gold my boy!

Karn: What?

Ajit: We're going to sell you to somebody and you will work for him as his slave, you stupid boy!

Karn: You'd know stupid when you see it.

Ajit turned and punched Karn in the stomach, winding him. Karn coughed and spluttered.

Ajit: You wanna be smart? YOU WANNA BE SMART?

Ajit punched Karn in the face.
A bolt of lighting came down from the clouds and struck Ajit. Ajit fell over and jolted at the electricity flowing through his body.
Daar picked Ajit up.

Daar: I told you not to hurt him! You only get one warning Ajit. Don't do it again!

They travelled once more.

Karn: Why are there so many people with us?

Ajit: Because you idiot, for protection against roving bands and desert creatures and..uh...and...

Karn: And you called me an idiot!

Ajit stopped but kept walking. He knew better.

Ajit: Shut up boy!

Daar: Hold!

The bandits stopped. A man stood only a few metres away wearing a red robe and cloak edged with gold and blue and carrying a large magical staff.

Daar: Where are you headed wanderer?

Dren: Where I am headed is none of your concern.

Daar: Travelling the Bogan Desert is quite dangerous when you're alone, with nobody to help you. There are all sorts of characters out here. Why, you could kill someone and nobody would ever find the body.

Dren: Thanks for the advise. I'll be on my way.

Daar: Hang on! You can't just talk to me and leave. You have to pay me and my men.

Dren: There is no way that I will pay you. You either let me pass or face my wrath.

Daar: Face your wrath? Ha ha ha.

Daar's men burst out in laughter.

Daar: Attack!

Daar's men charged at the sorceror.
Karn quickly grabbed one of them and snapped his neck. He picked up the dead bandit's scimitar and Karn and the mage proceeded to battle the bandits.
Ajit stopped Karn.

Ajit: Oh I've been waiting for this moment! Any last words?

Karn: Not yet.

Ajit growled and attacked Karn.

OOC:Umm, do they even have guns in this world????
Odd. One minute, I'm in a library, the next I'm in the middle of no where for no apparent reason. Oh well, at least there's a fight scene.

IC: As the twenty or so barbaric thugs came stampeding towards Dren, he shook his head in pity.

"Tsk tsk tsk. Pathetic mindless bandits. When will they learn."

As the clanging of swords and maces drew closer, Dren, with his staff in his hand now gently laid aside, began to move his hands in an odd fashion, as if sculping something that was not there. A small flame appeared within the dancing hands, and began to grow into menacing ball of scorching fire.
At once the dimwitted warriors realized the mistake they had made, and halted in their tracks. Dren, armed with his magic, hurled the mighty fireball at the cowardful men, exploding in a fiery mass, sending screams and panic throughout the land.

"Ah the wonders of magic."

However, a thunderous noise from above could be heard, and without warning powerful lightning began to strike the ground before Dren.
The unexpected occurance startled Dren, and as he looked into the flames of his magic, amidst the carnage and mayhem a dark figure slowly came forth.

Daar:"Ah the wonders of magic indeed."

Sensing the power of the man Dren instantly knew he too was a sorceror of some power that was not to be trifled with. Quickly Dren sent forth another fiery ball, which was met by an engulfing force of frost, coming from the hand of the sorceror Daar.

Daar:"Mess with the viper, and you'll get the fang."

OOC: I highly doubt there are guns. Oyeah, you wanted advice. I will now give it to you. Read other peoples posts. It annoys the writers to no end when you suddenly plop them in a place that is nowhere near where they were. Or when you make them do something completely out of character. Take heed, you will not make it very far in the Adventure Arena if this behavior contiues.

Alain- "Leave me be." The man raised an eyebrow but contiued driving the cart. The road was bumpy. He wanted to make conversation. I didn't. I had enough to deal with in my own head.

Cart Driver- "Are you sure? Conversation makes the time go faster." He gave me a large wholehearted smile. I smiled slightly.

Alain- "Yeah, I'm sure."

Cart Driver- "Ok buddy. Jordin is only another hour away. You can see it now." He pointed over the back of the roadworn donkey. I lifted my hood and took in one of the most beautiful sights my ageless eyes have ever held. The city was surrounded by a yellowbrick wall. It shimmered and shined in the bright light. The many buildings were peaked with wonderful steaples that reached toward my former home. Gargoyles and angels watched over the city from the peaks of the buildings.

Alain- "Oh..." The man nodded and hunkered back down into his seat.

OOC: OK That was wrong of me. But I discussed this with Enigma and he agreed that our characters should meet. Enigma don't make it sound as though we did not.
Not many people are posting. This is not good! Come on people!!!

Ajit circled Karn as a heavy lightning stom brew overhead. The cool rain drenched both of the warriors and the desert sand. By the looks of the surroundings the desert had not haave had any quenching rainfall in quite some time.
As the thunder crackled, the lightning lit up Ajit's face as he chuckled to himself.

Ajit: Very clever. Heh heh heh. Very clever indeed. Trying to get me killed by my own boss.
Ajit drew his sword. The sword sparkled and glitter floated off the sword and disintegrated as hit the sand. It's power was obvious.
Karn looked at the scimitar he picked up. It was quite ordinary and had an 'antique' look to it. Chips and an almost blunt blade indicated that this sword had been well used. Karn felt stupid holding it.
As Ajit twirled the sword around on his fingertips it gave off a calm, almost hypnotic, whistling sound.

Ajit: Oh-ho-ho have I been waiting for this moment.

Karn: To die?

Ajit: No, for you.

Ajit ran at Karn and the duel began. It was quite even and Karn managed to dodge and parry most of Ajit's blows but his strength was waning.

Ajit: Tired boy? Drop your sword and I promise I will kill you quickly and painlessly.

Fighting against Ajit's brute strength was not going to work. If Karn was going to win he had to resort to other tactics.
An idea came to mind.
Karn kicked sand into Ajit's face.
Ajit was blinded and scratched at his eyes.

Ajit: You little-

His sentence was cut short as Karn impaled the scimitar into his stomach. Karn gave a little sigh of relief. It's over, he thought.
But it was not.
Ajit sprung to his feet and pulled ou the sword. He grinned as he licked off the blood that was dripping from his mouth. He then began laughing uncontrollably at Karn's futile attempt to kill him. Karn picked up the scimitar again and took advantage of this opportunity. He decapitated Ajit in one solid swing. This time Ajit stayed down.
After catching his breath, Karn's attention turned towards Ajit's sword. He picked it up. Writing was inscribed on the blade.
"Twinkle". This must be the sword's name.
He flipped the sword over onto it's other side.
It read: "Ajit: The Bloodluster".
The sword began to glow in Karn's hands and as suddenly as the glowing began it had ceased.
The writing on the blade of the sword had changed magically.
It now read: "Karn: The Vengeful".

Karn: Fascinating...

Karn's afterthoughts were interrupted by a tremendous crash of lightning.
Karn turned to see a brilliant light-show made by the two sorcerors, Daar and the stranger. They were having a duel of their own. Magic spells were being cast to and frow each other with the occasional lightning bolt from the clouds above striking the stranger.
Karn sheathed Twinkle and came to his aid.
