(After the Exodia slab had been taken through the Typhoon, the Dark forces had fallen back. BSkull had gone with them, pretending to be one of the warriors that survived. He had been gone for a few months, but he felt he still knew his way around the Dark realm, which is where they were heading)
BSkull: (To himself) If I can find out what the next target is, I can try and find people to defend it. I just hope I can find someone who will believe me.

"I can't believe this! I'm sent here on a false mission to guard an Exodia piece right when the Guardian shows up followed by an army of the Dark forces and the others haven't showed up yet!!!!" Mared shouted.
"And you're blabbing all this to me because...?" Melody said irritatedly.
"Why are you listening then!!!"
"Duh! It's kinda hard NOT to hear you!"
"Fine! All of the Dark forces are probably at the door by now."
"No," Faith replied. "It could be a while until that happens."
Over by the window a weird humming sound was heard.
"Kuriboh!?" Melody stood up and looked towards the window. Kuriboh flew in. "Where were you!!!"
----------------------
I had to get my Kuriboh back in there some how! :D
I edited it because I temporarily lost my mind when I wrote this, sorry. Is that better? :o

OOC: No idea... Wasn't he listening around last time I checked?

Mared groaned. Women...

He walked out of the temple expecting to find less noise, but only walked in the moved local court. At least that was more familiar to him. An outburst near the forest edge got his attention. A Lady of Faith and several Aqua Madoors were trying to calm down an angered Crimson Sentry.

"I am O'owin D'rabon of the Awaiters and I demand explanations." she huffed, finally crossing her arms and sitting down on a nearby rock.

Mared chuckled and walked up to her.

"Hello, there, fellow awaiter. May never a cloud crawl up into your sky." He politely greeted her.

"At the moment it would rather be a thunderstorm." She grumbled. "Can you fill me on the latest, er...." she seemed to realise she didn't know his name and her phrase in a blank sound. Mared chuckled mentally.

"Your servitor is Mared of Dryd'n." Her eyes widened.

"But you are dead!" She exclaimed.

"Rather, someone faked my death. We could certainly use some agents with 'Book of the Moon' habilities." he laughed. "So, there is not much to say, apparently, we were never really needed, but the organization's information were so bad they believed there was nobody guarding the temple." O'owin glared at him.

"Then what happened to the first knight who disappeared?"

Mared blinked. "Good point. We'll have to ask the Elders as soon as we'll find them."

With these words, they walked away to find Drail and Podys.

FYI, Podys is the Ancient Elf, since he wasn't named already.

Nexci smirked again, and took the lead for a while, keeping himself to himself, spinning his staff around his hand every now and again when suddenly he stopped. Remain here for 3 minutes, no more no less, then if i do not return, carry on with out me, there is a fiend sourceror ahead, i beleive they are chanting an awakening spell of sorts. this i must deal with alone..and with that he walked foward to the shadows.

OOC: I'm kind of confused here, so here's my recapitulation. Nico is now known as Nexci, and has now gone ahead to do something, right? Then Feyd is a blue Kuriboh who can multiply and is guarding the Exodia piece with the main group: Chaos, Blue-Eyes, Neo, Onyx, and Valyrion. The Kuriboh that accompanied Melody is a completely other
one than Feyd, which is normal-colored and got lost during the Earth realm battle. Now I?m figuring that the main group is in the fire realm, since it?s the only realm that makes sense with a desert.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The group had traveled across the wasteland for days, the harshness of sun and sand wearing away at their minds mor than their bodies. Though Valkyrion did his best to keep the company together, there were those who lagged behind and those who flew ahead. Tempers have flared, especially at Neo, for it seemed that the group was wandering aimlessly in circles, slowly working their way to their doom.
For now, the group has stopped once again at the base of a volcano, now far out from the desert, nothing around them but rocks, dirt, and a few mountains on the horizon. Blue-Eyes, now fully restored, has taken flight to try and scout for this realm's temple, while Neo performed the same ritual as before. Everything happened exactly the same, except now all the sand did was fall out of his hands and directly down, towards the ground.
"I don't understand it," said Neo, shaking his head. "That should've worked..."
Blue-Eyes landed, then reported the same news. There was nothing in sight. At Valkyrion?s request, Neo did the same ritual again, the sand falling just as it did before, except now the Kuriboh was watching intently.
Though silent before, the Kuriboh now spoke up. ?Say, if the sand is supposed to point to the direction of the temple, then maybe the temple is underground, considering how the sand is falling directly downwards...?
?The Kuriboh has a point, there,? commented Onyx. ?It would explain why Blue-Eyes hasn?t been able to spot it from the air.?
The others looked at each other, half regretting why they couldn?t have figured that out for themselves. It was a momentary pause, so quickly that the company began digging in the gravel under their feet. Only seconds later did Chaos call to the others, his staff (?)
unearthing a panel with a symbol in the middle of it. Ancient as he was, Valkyrion recognized it immediately as the divine symbol for fire. Using yet another spell, Neo conjured a ball of fire, and held it in front of the symbol. It glowed, irridescent, and then the panel was gone, leaving a trapdoor.
* * * * * (time has elapsed) * * * * *
As the group made their way through the tunnel, the atmosphere around them became gradually hotter. They soon emerged inside the volcano?s magma chamber, with a huge lake of molten rock in the middle, encompassed by tiki torches.
After some searching, O'owin and Mared managed to find Drail.
"Excuse, me, elder, but do you know of what happened to the member of our order that was sent before us?" O'owin asked.
A nearby Holy Shine Soul interrupted.
"After Faith's disparition has been noticed, only one of us went away to tell the elders. And nobody came to the temple outside... err... Everybody in the meantime." She said, refering to the egitations around the shrine.
"Who was she?" Drail asked.
"I don't know." Mared replied.
"I do." O'owin filled in. "It was a Water Magician by the name of Alenaya."
"I haven't heard of her." Drail said, shaking it's head.
Mared's face suddenly bleached.
"That's not good... Oh no, that's not good..." he murmured.
"What?" Podys asked, having walked over.
"Well, Hepadee killed the court intendant, the Princess of Tsurugi, and he was previously researched for the murder of a Boar Soldier. Now we have Elenaya that disappeared, a Water Magician." Mared explained. "That makes three of the main elements."
"I know that the Command Kbight, Lord Tyerar, highest general of the army in the fire realm was also recently murdered." O'owin confirmed.
Mared's face had almost turned green.
"Spirit Elimination." he spurted.
"What?" O'owin asked, puzzled.
"It's a technique I practice. A ritual that allows the mere soul of a person to be extracted. When you combine souls from all six main elements, you can summon..."
"They wouldn't dare...?" Drail trailed.
"Yes, I think they are planning to summon Dark Necrophia."
Trik is sharpening his sword when he hears other blades slicing through clay. Trik simisses it and returns to the group. He looks around at everybody and frowns. "The temple has got to be inside that volcano. I've checked and I can't find a trace of a temple anywhere." Trik adds, "It's the only logical reason I can come up with and It's insane."
(The Dark army had been met by a large number of reinforcements. With them had come new orders. Those orders are being revealed by the army's generals. A Thousand Eyes Restrict(TER) is breifing the group BSkull is in)
TER: Listen up! We are on our way to the Fire realm! Our spies there have seen a group of creatures carrying the Exodia peice lost earlier! They are going to make sure the group doesn't escape before we can arrive! When there, we will claim the Exodia peice from them, and then claim the one from that realm! Move out!
ooc: No prob, I was planning to put the background info anyway in this post. Picture
Dark Necrophia...
The name ran in the minds for at least a minute without a sound to interfer. Dark Necrophia, the puppet created by the Gods themselves to be their most feared minion. A monster with powers so terrifying you it could not be created naturally. There wasn't a creature with habilities natural or acquired even close to the mind control Dark Necrophia possessed.
And the Dark Ones were determined to summon it.
"This is wrong, VERY wrong." O'owin murmured.
"You have no idea. Dark Necrophia doesn't obey to any master, it will only act to it's likeing." Drail completed.
"Exodia bless us..."
Valkyrion looked around the magma chamber. It was too well-formed to be a natural cave. The tiki torches lining the walls were a sure sign of inhabitants. But whether they were friendly or not was another matter.
Carefully, he stepped inside the cmaber. At the opposite end was a large throne-like structure, presumably where the Guardian sat. There was no sign of the Exodia slab anywhere. He guessed the Dark forces would be here to take it soon, so they had to convince the Fire Guardian to let them take it with them.
Neo eyed the walls carefully. Looking down, far below them he could see the massive pool of lava. Strange red mists danced over the surface like pond skaters on the water- Darkfire Dragons. They didn't seem to have noticed them yet, so the quicker they got onto the main platform the better.
The way to the platform was to jump from stone pillar to stone pillar- the stone platforms were unstable and dangerous. Neo didn;t like this idea, and the Exodia slab may not make it across if carried by the Kuriboh.
Blue Eyes grabbed the slab and flew onto the platform, creating a large vibration when he landed heavily on it. Neo, Feyd, Nico, Chaos and Valkyrion jumped onto it as the three pillars fell down into the pool below. Suddenly, a huge roar shook tha cave walls.
"Who goes there?" a reptilian voice roared. The cave shook more violently as a huge red dragon erupted from the lava below. The Tyrant Dragon sat upon his throne and eyed them hungrily.
Valkyrion stepped forwards. "We are warriors travelling across your domain. Are you the Guardian of Exodia?"
"I am." The Dragon growled. "What do you want?"
"Your realm is in great danger. The Dark forces-"
"I know what they plan to do..." The dragon caught sight of the Exodia slab being held by Blue Eyes and reeled back in his stone throne. "WHY HAVE YOU BROUGHT THAT HERE? YOU HAVE ENDANGERED MY REALM!" he shrieked furiously, causing large chunks of rock to fall from the ceiling.
"Your realm has been in danger even before we entered it!" Blue Eyes roared. "The Dark forces will not stop until they have all five Exodia pieces."
Valkyrion stepped forwards. "If you want your realm to be spared give us your slab so that we may summon him to protect the world again. We haven't much time."
A Darkfire Soldier appeared in a flash of flames next to the Tyrant Dragon. Whispering something hurriedly in his ear, he disappeared.
"You're already too late..."
Chaos: What the heck are you talking about.
He said this with his blood burning from rage and the blood of the warrior.
Chaos: Tell me where it is.
Tyrant: Why should I tell you, you are nothing i could wipe you away from the earth in a second.
Chaos: I am aware of that i was summoned to protect the exodia pieces,so tell me what you mean.
Blue Eyes was getting extremely impatient, how dare a dragon of less power boss him around, the most powerful Blue Eyes White Dragon known to the world? He snorted and emitted a deep throated growl.
Blue Eyes: Because if you don't tell us I'll bring this whole place down...
Tyrant Dragon: Oh, so now the little dragon speaks does he?? Ha! I'd like to see you...
Just then Blue Eyes fired off a massive energy blast that put a rather big hole in the side of the dragon's throne. He looked at the now furious dragon clan leader.
Tyrant: I'll tell you where it is. On one condition. You fight me. If you win I'll tell you what happened and where the slab is. If I win, you must leave this domain and never return here again.
Blue Eyes: Bring it on!
SwordHunter looked past the dragon. He noticed the hol in the throne.
SwordHunter: Blue Eyes, we need him alive; remember, they know this realm better. Valkyrion, Chaos come with me.
Chaos: Why?
Swordhunter: He said we were too late. The dark forces must be here. They'll get to the stone first if we wait for Ti-horn to tell us.
OOC: Sorry I haven?t posted for a while.:bluesweat: And...I?m not sure if this is right.
---------------
Faith stared at Mared and the elders uneasily. This was the first time she heard about Dark Necrophia and he didn?t sound too pleasent.
?Is there anyway we can stop this?? asked Faith. ?How would we know if another one was murdered??
Mared shook his head. ?I don?t think there is a way unless we can stop the dark forces from taking the souls of the murdered ones.?
?You mean the dark forces don?t have to directly kill the monster?? asked Faith, looking at Drail this time.
The Stern Mystic was buried in a book, rapidly scanning for information.
?I beleive anyone with the soul taking ability can do it.? Came a soft voice. ?No matter who kills the monster, the dark can take his soul, is that right Awaiter??
Mared and Faith turned at once. O?owin too lost the worried irritated look as she searched for the location.
A Magician of Black Chaos stood before the group, his eyes studying everyone deeply. Drail looked up from his book.
?Perhaps, Your Majesty.? He said in a weary tone.
?This is certainly serious.? Chimed in Podys.
Faith stared at her leader for a moment and then hurriedly bowed, remembering her manners. Mared and O?owin also bowed slowly.
Faith felt a reprimand coming on for leaving her post, but it never came. The king didn?t even mention it. He was concentrated more on theire current problem.
Drail spoke. ?Untill the other Warriors get here with the other Exodia pieces, we need a plan to keep the dark forces from carrying out their plan. Any suggestions??
"He is right." Mared confirmed. "With Spirit Elimination, you don't even need to actually kill the monster. The soul can be taken directly."
The king gasped. Ripping the soul from someone's body. This certainly was scary. Mared was deep in though of how to stop them. They already had Water, Earth and Fire. He assumed Wind wouldn't be a problem, and neither was Darkness.
There was still light.
He gasped in realisation.
"They're here!" He whispered, twirling around and scanning everywhere he could look.
"What??"
Mared started pacing back and forth, thinking aloud.
"All they need is wind and light, now, and from what we know, they seems to appreciate 'exemplary' souls. Right now this place is a paradise to them, with all the who's who in Light/spellcaster Realm and much less supervision than there would be in the palace..."
Realisation dawned on everybody and they scattered looking for somebody out of place.
Valkyrion moved to the tunnel they'd entered from that led to the surface, but the Tyrant Dragon's tail whipped in front of him and blocked his path.
"You're staying in here. I don't trust you enough to let you wander around my realm."
Chaos almost leapt for the Tyrant Dragon's throat. "How dare you! Do you not recognise the legendary heroes who fought for Exodia all those centuries ago?"
The Tyrant Dragon reared up. "Legendary heroes or not, this is my realm and you are under my command here."
Neo's fist clenched around his sword in frustration. "This is mad. The Dark forces will be at your gates any minute now! If we delay any longer we'll all be destroyed and they'll gain two Exodia pieces."
The Tyrant Dragon growled furiously. "Blue Eyes has accepted the challenge, and I never back away."
The others stepped back as the two dragons took their places opposite each other.
* * * * *
The Masked Beast clenched his fists at the thought of the creatures escaping with the Exodia slab. He had been so close...
A noise from behind startled him and he stood up straight. He could feel his presence in the room.
"Master?"
A foul hiss pierced his ears. "You failed."
He tensed himself. "They used a Dimension Hole to escape. I couldn't stop them. They have reawakened Valkyrion and the Black Luster Soldier."
His master sighed. "We will retrieve Exodia. And if we fail, you will have an eternity to regret your mistakes..."
The voice faded into the darkness, and The Masked Beast felt a cold sweat running down his forehead.
* * * * *
Slowly, the army of Thoursand Eye Restricts hovered over the desert plains. They were making good time. Soon they would reach the temple...
As Blue Eyes and the Tyrant Dragon squared off Nico walked off checking on the pieces.
Nico: both here good.
Valkyrion: Well not for long if Blue Eyes and the Tyrant Dragon finish each other off.
Nico: I have faith that Blue Eyes will only harm him although I don't know about the Tyrant Dragon.
Valkyrion: Nico I need to ask you a favor.
Nico: What's up?
Valkyrion: I need you to stay behind when the dark forces get here.
Nico: To protect the pieces?
Valkyrion: Yes that's it. If you have to get out of here using your vortex and take the pieces with you. If I can I will get the pieces from here and bring it to you. I can't promise we can hold them off but I want you to be aware and know what to do when I give the signal.
Nico: No I won't go without the rest of you guys.
Valkyrion: Nico, what do you want. A couple of us to lose our lives or everyone die?
Nico: I won't do it. Make the Tyrant Dragon give us the piece and let's leave!
Valkyrion: You know as well as I do that cannot happen.
Nico: I won't leave until the last second but yes i will leave.
Valkyrion: This is vital to the survival of the world. Unless I come back and specifically tell you to give me the pieces and go battle you are to stay behind.
Nico: Fine.
Meanwhile
Dark Necrofear makes a motion with her hand and a rat looking thing walks up
Rat: What do you need your majesty?
DN: WHERE ARE MY EXODIA PEICES?
Rat: Mam the army has reached the temple and are preparing to begin thier asult.
DN: Excelent, I soon shall be three steps closer to Exodia!
Nico sat waiting knowing that this may be the last time he saw anyone again. Suddenly he slumped down as a hand with a rag in his hand disappeared.
Hand: Sir I have knocked out the guard.
Captain: Good. Don't touch Exodia save it for the thousand eyes. Just take the guard. He has the vortex and now they can't escape!
Trik: Chaos, I'm going to search around. See if I can find the Exodia peice.
Trik went off into the darkness of the temple and noticed a thoudand eyes Restrict. Trik readies his sword and runs back to the group. He looks at Blue Eyes and nods "yes" to him.
Everyone in the group looked toward the Palace. It still stood there, unguarded, in the distance. Easy prey for anything lurking before it.
Shaeldar, the King slowly levatated in the air. ?I can feel them.? He said softly. ?We?ve wasted too much time! That Palace holds much more than souls for their disgusting game.?
Indeed, the Spellcaster Palace held centuries of magic within it?s walls. Magic that could be corrupted despite all it?s power. Woe to the Light Realm if the magic was turned against them.
?Well, get us in.? Said Mared irritably.
Faith felt the same way. She was angry and irritated with the ability of the dark forces to be present in such swarming numbers.
Shaeldar concentrated deeply on the ground. Several Dimension Holes yawned forth.
?Hurry.? He said as he vanished.
************
They stood in front of the Palace of Light.
Mared tapped his foot. ?It feels horrible.? He said. ?The Dark is here, but I can?t see them.?
The Holy Shine Souls swarmed into the castle like a shimmering wave of butterflies. The air inside hung heavy with foreboding and darkness.
Two of the Souls shrieked, beckoning urgently to Faith. Faith looked after them, the interior of the castle was neat and orderly as it should have been. There was no sign of any force, but the place was as quiet as death.
Faith reognized the feeling. It was the same when she had met the Angel of Silence.
Just as the thought entered her mind, a scream erupted from somewhere and the Holy Shine Souls pulled at Faith in distress.
The King himself pushed through the swarm and instantly identified the voice. He pointed his staff forward and a door swung open.
Inside loomed Doma the Angel of Silence over a small figure, a Mystical Elf.
Faith rushed over at once, taking the full effect of his backlash. She stumbled back a step as Mared and O?owin came forth.
?I said we shall meet again, Magician.? Hissed Doma menacingly. The eye on his shoulder fixed a terrifying gaze on the rest.
Shaeldar attacked with his staff. A ball of green lightning shot forward.
Doma instantly blocked with his own staff.
Mared gasped as O?owin went to help the Mystical Elf. ?Such great power!? he said.
Faith nodded grimly. ?They?re getting stronger.?
(ooc: Solo, technically, DN isn't summoned yet, but we'll work with it. I meant they were near the temple to collect the last soul, but that's fine too. lol. I'm overpowered.)
Mared looked as the spellcasters battled. He didn't know Doma was such a potent enemy. He decided to help as much as he could. He raised his sword.
"Come to me Thunder, by the name of Guardian Toraisu, I command you!"
A second, the sky darkened and lightning fell on the yellow blade. Mared grabbed the handle with both hands and slashed the sword forward, causing a cackling ball of electricity to be hurled at Doma.
Then the spellcaster activated a Spirit Mirror spell.
"Duuuuck!" Faith warned as they ran for cover, the spell sending the attack back in a random direction.
It collided with a Dark Magician statue in a fighting stance and broke the staff. Mared was covered with rock shards.
"Okay, that wasn't a good idea..." Mared warned, glancing at Faith.
"Mared, here!" O'owin called.
"What now?" Mared rushed over, Faith behind him. O'owin just pointed at the elf's face. Her eyes were still open and revulsed, but moving, her lips too, but no sound escaped.
"We interrumpted the Spirit Elimination process." Mared indicated "She's using a spell to try and grasp her soul back completely. She is a strong woman. Maybe I can..." Before he could complete his sentence, he was whacked upside the head by a dark and dirty melon-sized hairball.
"Giant Germs!" Faith gasped. She repelled several of them thanks to her Mirror Wall, but more come forth from halls and pouring into the room.
"Book summon! May your light be their doom!" O'owin activated her own little trick, summoning a two-feet tall Book of the Sun. It oppened and it's light quickly absorbed several Germs.
"Anybody got an idea?" Mared turned to the Holy Shining Souls, who were trying to assist the elf.
"They won't be on any help." O'owin said. Was that a glare?
"Then protect them! Until she is fine, there's not much we can do about those." Mared said, nodding at the king and slicing it's sword through another Giant Germ.
"NO! Don't do that!" O'owin yelled, too late. The germ divided in a dozen of smaller creatures. Mared blinked.
"That is not good." He muttered.
