Masterdramon
Milleniuth took out his Dragon Nails and held them in front of himself as if they were a shield. Elegon/Obelisk (henseforth known as Obelisk) sent a torent of water at Milleniuth, swallowing him up. He had never had any swimming practice, and knew it was likely he would die. The current forced him against a wall of the labrynth. He latched on, and echolocated his way up. Once he got on top, he found out that he was surrounded by water and...Suijins! Instantly, water shot out from all directions. Milleniuth jumped and dodged them. Quickly, he echolocated across the heads of the Suijins, jumping from one to another as if they were stepping stones. As he neared the Gate Guardian, he was suddenly blown off the Suijin he was on and only by an amazing backflip was he able to land on another Suijin. He started to jump much more quickly, dodging the torrents of wind, that, his echolocation told him, were caused by Kazejins. One second to late he realized that if there were Suijins and Kazejins here, then there must be... ZAP!!! Sangas! He resumed his jumping, but he kept constant tabs on one of the Sanga's movements. When it started charging up it's electrical attack, Milleniuth stood still until the last second, when he jumped out of the way and let the Suijin he was on be struck. The water below conducted the electricity, killing all but 2 Suijins (they were too far away)! By echolocating and moving over the labryth walls, he made his way over to them, grabbed 1 with his feet, and latched onto the other one. At the right moment, he squeezed the sides of the Suijin he was holding, releasing a stream of water that hit a charging-up Sanga, pushing him into the water. The electricity created a tidal wave, which hit Obelisk! "Ha! The bigger they, are, the harder they fall!" yelled Milleniuth. He then jumped onto a labrynth wall and let the Suijins blow up. Through even more echolocating, he determined that the only ones left were several Kazejins. He perched himself in the open, and jumped a second later. Just as he had anticipated, the Kazejins had all blown HARD and he had actually landed on the wind! Milleniuth swiftly slashed off some hair and tied up all but one Kazejin, making them stay in the blowing position. Milleniuth grabbed and slshed the remaining one. Then, he swung the other Kazejins into another wall and blew them up. Immediately, he began to fall, but was able to grab a wall. Then, he put his plan in action. Milleniuth tied up the injured kazejin as well and threw him in the water. He then moved the Kazejin around in a circular formation, and, because of the leaking wind, he created a whirlpool, pulling in Obelisk! "ENOUGH!" roared Obelisk. He raised his hands, instantly destroying everything in the room besides himself and Milleniuth. NOTE: I have to go to bed now-I'll edit in more in the morning. Obelisk raised his fist and started punching the ground, Milleniuth always jumping away at the last second. Finally, he was caught by an electrical shock and was grabbed. Obelisk then created a tornado, in which he threw Milleniuth! As he charged up for a final flash of lightning, Milleniuth let out a Naucious Nostril Gust, which hid him inside the tornado. As he was carried up, he grabbed the ceiling and managed to swing out onto...Obelisk's head! Obelisk swiftly shook his head, making Milleniuth fall! He landed in a crumpled heap, and was about to be stomped when he yelled "Raigeki!" Usually, the same trick doesn't work twice, but in this case, it did. Obelisk looked up and caught the attack, allowing Milleniuth to corral Obelisk's feet, causing him to fall! Milleniuth ran a bit farther away and watched a fuming Obelisk tear apart the hair. Obelisk then commanded "Most faithful 3, come to me!" A Suijin, a Kazejin, and a Sanga flew through a hole in the ceiling. Obelisk grabbed the Kazejin and the Sanga and pointed to Milleniuth. Immediately, the Suijin kamikazed into him! Then, before he could get up, the Suijin sent out a burst of water. Milleniuth countered with a Naucious Nostril Gust, creating a cloud of steam that clouded the Suijin's vision. Quickly, Milleniuth rushed forward, plunging his Dragon Nails through the Suijin. As he raised his head, his echolocation told him about the horror before him-the Suijin had just been a distraction, and now Obelisk was finished with charging up the attack that his parents had once been sacrifices for: the Fist of Fate. It seemed that the soul of Obelisk had come with his special power, for Obelisk shrieked "Fist of Fate!" and ran forward, toward Milleniuth. Milleniuth tensed, and suddenly snapped. "Raigeki!" he yelled. The lightning created a barrrier, keeping away the flaming hand, but just barely. As he thought of his parents, his power grew, and the Raigeki started to change form, finally becoming the most powerful form of energy he knew of: the Mirror Force. Milleniuth wasted no time in using his new weapon. He screamed "Mirror Force! Reflect his Fist of Fate right back at him!". "NO!" yelled Obelisk as he was engulfed in a surge of energy. Then, there was silence. As Milleniuth walked forward to inspect the body, it sat up and spoke "Hello. My name is Elegon. I'm sorry about what just happened, but I couldn't control my actions-Obelisk made me do it. Luckily, when you reflected his Fist of Fate back at me, it drove him out of my body. Now, he's gone for good. Here, let me heal your wounds-there sure are a lot of them." With that, Elegon's headpeice began to rotate and Milleniuth instantly felt perfect. "Thank you. By the way, how do I get out of here?" replied Milleniuth. "You can either go forward, to the Light Realm, or backward, toward the Earth Realm." answered Elegon. Remembering the intentions of that other group to go to the Light Realm, he trudged that way. He had no idea of what horrors he would find there. Nexus_storm
Pulling himself together with all the energy he could possibly muster and pull to him from his surroundings, nexcii stood up and walked back to the other troops. im sorry but i had to do that so i could prepare my self further for the coming of the dark age. My light has almost extinguished, in 4 hours i will use the dark hole regardless if any one is left around. i in turn will then cease to exist. i will be around in the souls of the coming age. He took a tighter grip of his staff and walked off and sat in the shadows away from every body, it was no good now to meditate and use the energy from the darkness around him his fate had been sealed. Solo Tremaine
OOC: Okay, I guess it really is time to end this now ^_^ Thank you, everyone. -------------------------------------------------- Jinzo roared in fury as he ripped the arrow from his eye, shards of metal and glass spilling from the opening it had torn in his face. "Time to end this!" he turned back to where Necrophia was standing in front of the four other Exodia pieces, casually destroying troops of Celtic Guardians and a few Dai Grepher Warriors. "Necrophia, get ready to summon Exodia!" His chilling cry echoed over the darkened city. For a second, everyone froze. Valkyrion looked back to the castle, where a Mystical Knight of Jackal was carrying the final Exodia piece towards him. "If this doesn't work," he said to St Joan quietly. "It won't matter- none of us will be around to regret it." He took to the sky and pointed his sword at Jinzo. The battle below had stopped, all eyes on the crystal slab being carted onto the marble steps of the Light Guardian Temple. Its energy surged through the crowd- every living creature could feel its power struggling to break free. A few started to retreat in fear. "Jinzo!" Valkyrion yelled. "We surrender the final Exodia piece to you. We cannot win." Jinzo's eye was slowly rebuilding itself, the flow of bloody oil trickling from the gap was ebbing. "It's about time, Valkyrion. Necrophia!" The fiend marched forwards, the four other slabs floating eerily behind her. As they became closer to the final slab, they began to glow. The Mystical Knight of Jackal stepped away as she stroked a gloved hand over the smoothly-carved surface, her other hand tightly clutching the broken doll which lolled around like a dead body. She clicked her fingers and the slab rose into the air, floating down to meet the others. Jinzo growled in anticipation. Soon, he'd be in control of the greatest power in the universe. Necrophia had to summon it now. He could wait no longer. A terrified silence fell covered the battleground. Even the Dark troops, who had fought for so long to gain control of this power, were starting to turn away. Could such a thing really be controlled? It didn't matter any more. Necrophia threw wide her arms and started chanting in an ancient language. With each word, wisps of purple smoke rose from the tablets and a faint shape appeared on the ground underneath them. A circled hexagram started rotating in the air about her, its speed increasing the more smoke appeared. Valkyrion looked to Melody. "Get ready..." Necrophia was screaming the chant now, as if trying to fight against some other noise inhibiting her thinking. Suddenly, a huge column of purple smoke exploded from the centre of the circle. A glowing white symbol thundered form the sky and penetreted the thick mystical cloud. A loud moan emenated from the darkness. Immediately, the troops started to scatter. Jinzo ordered the Red Eyes to fly in closer, so he could get a closer look at his destiny. "Exodia is REBORN!" he screamed, as two massive shoulders burst from the smoke. Gigantic hands unfurled from a leviathan chest, and the thunderous stomp of huge feet shook the ground. Slowly, as the smoke cleared, the horrible visage of the monster's face became clear. Its eyes shone a blood red, its dark gaze penetrated through everything it saw. Valkyrion was starting to shake. "Melody... any second now..." Jinzo threw back his head and let out a piercing laugh. "Exodia, you belong to me!" The gigantic creature turned to face him, its face devoid of any emotion. It showed no sign of alleigence to him, nor defiance. "DESTROY THEM!" Jinzo yelled. The leviathan creature whirled round to face the castle. Huge beams of white light exploded from the palms of his hands and swept across the ground, obliterating anything in their paths and penetrating deep underground. In the tunnels underneath the earth Realm, Millenniuth could hear a rumbling. Pausing to listen, the ground in front of him was vaporised in a burst of white light. As it dissipated, he looked into the hole above him. Exodia's leer pierced into his very soul. He had to help. he'd already defeated a God. perhaps he could help defeat Exodia too. Beating his wings, he flew up the hole. Silistra gripped her staff tightly. She had never felt such fear in her life. "Now, Melody!" Jinzo watched as Exodia's beams drew towards the Guardian Temple and laughed. Suddenly, they stopped. "What?" he gasped. "Exodia, destroy them now!" The leviathan slowly turned around to face him. "I... can't keep this up!" Melody screamed. Her head was burning with immense pain- the energy inside Exodia was too powerful. "He's going to destroy me!" "Just a little longer, Melody! I know you can do this." Valkyrion yelled. Exodia stepped forwards and drew back a gigantic fist, which started to fill with energy. Doma spied the young Magician practicing the Change of Heart spell. "Tut tut! It's not good to mess with magic you can't control!" He zoomed forwards, his staff outstretched. The metal tips began to glow a deep purple. "Time to die, vermin!" Suddenly, he felt something pierce his stomach. A wave of pain cascaded over his body. He looked down. Mina held onto the Sword of Dark Destruction tightly, making sure it penetrated deeply into the dark fairy's stomach. DOma let out a strangled hiss before disappearing in a cloud of dark smoke. "Exodia, what are you doing?" Jinzo roared. "DESTROY!" Exodia shrieked. The blast of energy thundered from his hand and struck the Red Eyes and Jinzo, vaporising them both. Melody collapsed on the floor, unconscious. Nexcii knew this was his chance. Immediately, he teleported from his room in the Temple and appeared in the sky above them. An orb of pure darkness appeared around him, sucking in everything around him. It grew more powerful. Valkyrion could feel it beginning to draw them in. Trees were ripped from the ground, stragglers who couldn't make it to shelter disappeared into the void above. "Now, Silistra!" She thrust her staff forwards and a white orb appeared on the ground underneath them. The Dark realm forces were catapulted into the centre of the Dark Hole, while the others watched them all fly into oblivion. Exodia covered its eyes as it too, slowly began to be drawn in. "Nexcii!" Valkyrion yelled. "Can you hear me?" "Yes." his voice was faint. "Thank you, Nexcii. You will always be remembered." With a final smile Nexcii felt himself let go, and the Dark Hole's strength increased dramatically. Exodia roared as he was pulled into the void and disappeared... * * * A blue sky. Valkyrion opened his eyes a little wider. All around him, people were picking themselves up, looking almost as dazed and confused as he was. There was no sign of the dark forces anywhere, but they had certainly left their mark on the land. Buildings lay in ruins, and the injured almost carpeted the ground. "We did it!" came a joyous yell from behind him. He turned round to see Rydia smiling gleefully back at him. "Yeah, we sure did!" Chaos replied. "If this doesn't go down in the history books as the biggest battle of all time I'm a Mushroom Man." Valkyrion looked around. Could they be sure the Dark realm gone for good, though? He picked up a small piece of crystal from the ground. A slight wisp of smoke rose into the air. It didn't matter much now. They certainly wouldn't be back for a while. And- he looked back at those who had all helped in the battle -he was sure they'd be ready for them if and when they did. ---------------------------------------------------------- OOC: you can have an 'Epilogue' post if you want to, but that's basically it for this. Thank you so much for participating, everyone. Even though it was a little slow towards the end, I can happily say that this couldn't have gone better even if I'd tried ^_^
LastSheikah
That, was cool. Anyway, here's my little epilogue. ---------- Melody sat with her back to a tree, idly carving a piece of wood. Kuriboh floating around in circles, humming loudly in its own little language. Seiyaryu, attempting to ignore the noisy furball, was trying to get to sleep. "It's nice to be here again with no one chasing after us," Melody sighed. Seiyaryu lazily nodded in agreement. Melody turned the piece of wood over to start carving the other side when she noticed a small message etched into the wood. "Look for us," it said. Melody read it again. Although she really didn't know what it meant, she looked around. Standing beside the dragon was many people, most of them Spellcasters. "Are you coming back home Melody?" a Mystical Elf asked. Melody looked around at all those who were there. She was leaving her home away from home and going back to her true home, the home she ran away from. Maybe they were there, Melody's parents. Masterdramon
Here's mine: Blue-Eyes had taken him to his home about a week ago. Milleniuth was now Blue-Eyes's primary advisor, and he had been able to visit the graves of his parents. He was happy. However, there was still his question. One afternoon, while they were playing "Duel Humans", he once again asked "Why did you have me join you for that planning stage?" "When I saw you, I remembered something from my past." replied Blue-Eyes "When I was about 18, a Baby Dragon saved my life. He had a birthmark - a star on the right cheek. So do you. I wanted to know more about you, and thank you in any way I could. Now, you're move."
Nexus_storm
Amongst the rubble laid a dark glowing orb, attatched to a long pillar staff with two twin serpents entwinded around the staff. The orb was black, where once their had been a purple tinge...then it simply vanished
Mina
I guess I'll do one too. ------------ The rebuilding process went quite quickly as most people from the other realms stayed to help. Faith stood twirling her staff on the steps of her Temple. She missed them, Melody, Vylkarion and all the others. She could see Silistra near the palace gates with the King, planning some new extension, her attendents were taking full advantage of the sunny day. "Well, come now." said an aged voice. Faith smiled at Drail, the Stern Mystic. He held the parchment in which she was supposed to make a record of her journey. She took the parchment and quill and sat down to write. This would be a Chronical to remember.
