How did Fat Buu get the healing power?

You are right about energy transfer and all of this stuff, but one thing to note is that the fat buu made a blind boy see...

That is not something energy alone will do.

What that needs is pure healing and regenerating powers.

I would say this fella had the idea right about healing...

He probably learned the greater levels of healing from the kai's he obsorbed.

However, it is also true that you can give energy as gokou did and heal mortally wounded or fatigued people.

Thing is, I can confidently say that the series never addressed the idea of buu being able to heal the blind...

So it looks to me like just another un-answered question in this series.

My guess is that bibidi made majin buu have healing powers in case bibidi gets mortally wounded. I just repeat this phrase that my sister told me: It's an anime. Just accept it and move on.

I think Buu's power to heal goes beyond plain ol' "ki" and into the realm of "magic." Remember, Buu was made by a very powerful sorcerer.

Giving a blind boy sight, making Uub and Goku draw balls to put them in a match at the tournament, and turning people into candy... that sounds more like magic than a manipulation of ki.

The real question is whether Buu always had magical powers, or if he got them from absorbing the Kaioshin.

Well sadly theres no real answer to this questions since it isn't documented..though I would assume the power to heal was obtain during the absorbtion of the kai's or possibly Buu just used his great learning compacity to learn how to heal. Like how he learned how to do a Kamehameha wave during his fight with SSJ3 Goku.

Some possible theories...

1) Buu absorbed two Kai's. You'll remember that Kibito had the ability to heal people, so someone in Other World knows this technique. Someone could have easily taught that to one of the previous Kai's. When Buu absorbed them, the power could have been transferred to him.

2) Buu has the ability to regenerate and heal himself, so all he had to do was learn how to transfer that ability to another person. Surely not too hard, even for Buu.

Simply put, no one really knows. It's another great, unanswered mystery of Dragon Ball that will probably never be solved.

It is true; Babidi did create Majin Buu for the sole purpose of desruction and chaos. Babidi, despite how he appears, is not the dumbest person, though. He knows that, should Majin Buu ever receive damage, Majin Buu is going to be able to heal and regenerate himself. It is quite apparent that he pulled this off really well; just look at when Buu was ambushed by Gotenk's Super Ghost Kamakazi attack. Majin Buu was a mess, but was still able to take shape once more as if it had never happened.

One thing that Babidi did not count on is that Majin Buu would become compassionate. So Buu has always been able to heal and regenerate, he just never used it on anyone else but himself until he became more warm-hearted.

Of course, this is just in theory, but it makes the most sense to me over anything else. The whole thing with absorbing the Kais may have just strengthened the power. As pretty much all of you have said, we shall never really know.
