Rikku
My latest banner attempt. I'm not too keen on the font though. It looks better with a black or dark background...
conpiracymonki
Looks real nice to me ^_^ I like the little sort of almost pattern thing you did at the bottom right of the banner. And the font isn't that bad.. *points to his avatar* -.-' But I'd stick with blue over black/any dark colours. Black'd look as good, but blue's more Rikku-ey if you understand what I mean..
Rikku
Thanks...But I'll stick with my old banner. If I was using a dark skin, I might switch it over...
James
Looks pretty good to me. I like the background and I think you've superimposed Rikku very well. The animation just adds to it. Very nice. 8.5/10. EDIT: Oh, Rikku...just so you know, we don't allow members to have more than one image in their signature. So you'll have to choose whether or not you want the banner or the anti-spammer button. ^_^
Syk3
I think it looks okay. I'm going to tell you right now that I like your old banner a lot more. ^_^ I just don't think I like the background that much, personally. The text isn't so bad in the way of the font, but it could stand out a bit more. An border around the banner would work well too. My rating: 6.5/
Mitch
It needs a border. That white area in the bottom right looks out of place and leads it to not looking boxish, but more of asymmetrical porportions. I don't like it that much. The picture of Rikku and the background just don't clash as well as in your other banner. Rikku has that red and all of those other colors on her--it just doesn't work well with the background for me. The background is well done, but it just doesn't have that fitting together feeling to me. 5.7/10. I like the current banner in your sig a lot more.
Sara
Slightly off topic, but I'm wondering if this page is loading funny for anyone else? I like your current one better, by the way. the background ofthe new one is too busy for me.
KittyLynn
I like the new one better. I don't like the picture in the old one.
GinnyLyn
I personally prefer the one you already have, Rikku. It seems that the image in your new banner is one of those common images being tossed around for FFX-2. And common images usually dull down the impact of a banner. The text is hiding--eeee! Heh, anyways, prettiful, but I still like your one you have now. 8.5/10.
Rikku
The banner does have a border, but you can't see it because it's white. At this site, you can see it: Clickie Anyway, when I make banners, it's usually for practice. I don't intend to change my banner I have currently. :D In the link above, I have a forum myself to make banners including these: (You can't see the white borders of the Cowboy Bebop banner and the Nikki banner...==;; ) Whee. Please rate these too. The people at the other board aren't too great with graphics, so they praise pretty much all the stuff I make. :p
GinnyLyn
Mmmpfff, you still have the common image that's been done to death thing that I just have to nitpick about. Heh. :bluesweat HOWEVER, you have this natural ability to make excellent background textures, which is something I would love to learn. I'm jealous. :p OK, banner by banner: Outstanding. The coloring effect makes the Aeons look more 3D-ish. Except for Shiva--the poor blue girl throws the color scheme off. I kept waiting for the cursor to move back to the beginning of the words, but nothing happened. Then I started to look for the Ultimate Aeon in the background, but...um...is there one in there? (Oh wait...these are member names, right? Oops, heh.) 9.5/10. ChronoTrigger rocks. End of story. Out of all the banners, this one, by far, has the BEST background texture. Seriously. There's just a tiny bit of empty space that is distracting me on the left side. And the yellow color for the text kinda...I dunno, makes it blend in a little too well. 9.7/10. Collage banner. No white edges--GO YOU! *cheers and hands Rikku a cookie* They all look like they belong together too--usually, (general) you can tell when a banner is made from several pics, because they don't seem to work together, but (personal) you did an excellent job bringing the banner together. There's a small bit of empty space next to Faye, and the white text kinda blends a little too well on the one guy's forehead, but these are tiny things. 9.5/10. This last one is gorgeous. Perfectly balance in both color and texture. Simply incredible. A solid 10/10.
Guest Zeh
Other than what Ginny mentioned, i can't think of a thing, besides a suggestion for the Crono banner, you should fade the image on the left a little bit, or somehow make it darker, to blend a bit better with the banner. I also love how you add in simple animations to your banners, it doesn't change the whole thing, usually it's tiny, and that makes it absolutely awesome. You're definately the Queen of backround-making, or atleast the best i've seen thus far ^_^
Rikku
Awww...Thanks guys. Anyway, about the Crono banner, I was messing with the lighting on that one. Here's the original, as well as the one I posted again so you can see the slight difference.
