This is my first banner without using any pictures. And I am still tinkering with PS to find all these effects things. I think it is pretty good for a first try, least in my mind. So what do you think?

Dude, not bad at all! Makes me think of someone taking a stick to an oil puddle and dragging it around a bit.

First time, huh? I'm interesting to know what all you used, effects wise. It's got a painting texture thing going on the right side, a wing thing on the left, and some sort of inversed flare lens in the middle.

Colors are...are...the colors are. Yeah. OO;

Still, more patience than I got. I say make the text go from big on the left to small as it gets to the middle--make it look like it's getting sucked into the darkness that is. Heh.

Lets see....I have to try and remember what effects I used. I used a lot of the 3D transforms. I used the lens flare, twirl, poster edges, difference clouds....and there are some others in there as well. Don't quite remember what was all in it though. Thanks for the comments. The color is what I really dont like either. lol

I cannot say that I can recall any of your banners with pictures, so I am not sure if this is better or worse than what you have done, but it is good.[/size]

Not bad. interesting swirl of colours though. I like the darkened effect. Dont add any pix to that, it's fine as it is. maybe some better typo though.
