ooo... I was really hoping they would have the arcade feel. =( Im really wondering if I should invest. I play DWI on the computer and was thinking I would get a converter to hook up the metal pads, get a video out on my computer and play the TONS of songs I have Downloaded. But thats a big investment if the metal pads are not all that. :nervous:

I've never played any of the Playstation versions, but I have played it a couple of times at the arcade. Not enough to get good, mind you, but I had lots of fun. I am going to get to play this weekend when I go to Disney World, so I'm super excited. That was the first place I ever played it two years ago. ^_^

...hmm... how much is a game at Disney? Im very curious. Down here we have DDRX and its three songs for a buck. For us thats expensive. Used to play the same machine *it was 7th mix tho* for .50 cents for three games. im TOTALLY addicted. Id say we go play at least 4-5 times a week, thats what we do most weekends. Ive even been injured by the stupid machine. lol... *well.. i fell off it, but I can blame it if I wanna*

if you add more money you play longer? Like more songs? or you just get another turn? here you get the three songs.. irregardless of how many coins you put in. but then you get more turns. *did that make scense?* lol....

Around here it's generally 75 cents a play, and you only get to play ONE song. You guys lucked out.

All arcade machines have a setup screen where the owner can adjust price and play times... So I guess the people by you just aren't as greedy lol.

dude, .75 for one song??? thats criminal

I am used to three songs for a buck. with the Extreme version. I hear from the archade guy hes knocking it down to .75 in about a month. wOot! so thats gonna rock. i know the more money you put it the more credits you have, but I guess what I thought Queen Asuka meant was that there was a machine that the more money you put in the more consectutive songs you got... *if that were the case I'd put in like 10 bucks at a time* =)

I've not used the metal pads, but they are as close to the real thing as you're going to get. Everyone that I know that has them swears by them.

Of course, the soft pads suck because they bunch up... The PVC hard pads suck because they aren't very exact since you have to click down the buttons...

There are a couple places that make metal pads... some better than others. The best ones are something like $200. No thanks lol.

My favorite songs would have to be 1998, Crash, Era, Trance Dejarnoe, Dam Daridam KCP mix, AM 3p 303 Bass MIx, Speed Over Beatoven, dub I dub, Breakdown, Paranoia Max Dirtry Mix, Tsugaru, Paranoia Survivor Max, Stoic, Sync, V, Colors, A, Sakura, Flash Dance, Never Ending Story, Rythm and Police, and .59

Phew thats alot
to bad its only DDR songs and not all Techno/Trance and Bemani because that list could go on forever. lol

You know, I've never played the game before -.-'

But it looks real cool, and here I think it's £1 for 5 songs. I don't really know what versions or whatever ours are, but the two machines around here at Megabowl both say Euromix on them so.. *shrugs*

But yeah, I think I'll go play this Sunday :)

I try to get EVERYONE I come in contact with to go play... its a wonderful game. Great music, Great Exercise and If it stays popular they will continue to make machines and distribute them! I will have to go look up what songs are on the Euro Mix machine.

Well, this is how the prices go.

At Disney World, it's $1 for three songs.

Universal, $1.25 for five songs on USA Mix or $1.50 for however many on DDR Extreme

At my mall, they have the 7th mix and it's 50 cents for three songs.

My favorite song is End of Century. I haven't memorized all the other names yet. Heh.
