eleanor
What does everyone think they're talented in? It's my dream of becoming an animator for anime or SOMETHING related to it, but when I see other people's drawings over the internet, it makes me wonder if I'm actually cut out for it. ^_^ Or maybe it's just something I'm going to get over later. Wintermute
I'd say music for myself, I've dabbled in various things, and normally I'm pleased with them until I look at them again the next day and realise how terrible they are, but I reckon I'm a pretty impressive bass-player. As for what I'm likely to do for a career, probably something related to Biochemistry. It's easy and interesting. *Hopes for good AS and A2 grades* Keep practising the drawing, no-one starts off the best. You've got to work at it. GinnyLyn
I want to be an animator as well, but sometimes I wonder if I'm cut out for it or if I'll ever find my way to getting down that road. @_@ Being a mindless hard worker--is that a good talent? Once I learn how to do a task, I can keep doing it until I've pretty much perfected it. Beh, great for the job market or school. When I have the motivation, that is. Syn
I'd like to say graphics.......im not really any good at graphics but hell, we all have dreams, right? Im also quite good at hurting myself for entertainment ^_^.
Anna
My talents would be generally anything in the fine arts. I'm a musician (drums, a little piano.... I mean a little), dancer (I started dancing again this year; hopefully I'll do it in college--they sometimes have groups to join for that kind of thing), drama, art (I used to draw a LOT when I was younger; I still could if I sat down to it. If I can see it I can draw it, anything but people that is unless it's cartoon-style), aaaaanndd... anything else of that nature; if I work at it I develop it. Also, don't forget about other types of talents or gifts. Being a good listener is a talent; being a good speaker is a talent; being a patient person is talented in my book, and so forth. A lot of people will claim that they don't think they have any gifts or talents just because they can't play sports or don't know how to sings and things like that, but they'll be just a generally meek and sweet person. They don't realize that [i]that[/i] is a gift, to be naturally endearing and loving or compassionate. Anyway, just thought I'd add that in there. Ryan
[font=Kabel Bk BT] Um.. Pretty much basketball. I'm very talented if I do say so myself. Also in track. I run distance for the school track team and I love running long. It is just easy for me. Most of the time atleast.[/font]

I think I'm pretty good at the cello ^_^, but I think I should practice more. Yeah, you're right, I should practice more, but I usually get discouraged and I'm always in slumps. Even my mom discourages me, telling me that anyone can draw like me if they weren't so addicted, and that got me pretty mad.
Manic Webb
Alas, I'm relatively mediocre with everything I'm good at. Everything I think I have a talent for, the next person is always 10 times better than I am. I suppose that would be a good excuse to try harder, wouldn't it? I like acting and performing. I can be pretty jittery and nervous before a performance, but I tend to thrive on the audience's lack of booing at me. I'm currently taking an acting class, so I'll hopefully be a lot better at it someday. I feel kind of nervous about auditioning for anything, because everyone else at the audition has something I don't have: experience. I also think I can do a pretty good English accent, but I have no idea what part of the UK my fake accent comes from, and I'm sure plenty of OB members from the UK could see right through it. Shy
[QUOTE][i]Originally posted by Endymion [/i] [B]I tend to thrive on the audience's lack of booing at me.[/B][/QUOTE] [size=1]heh, genius. :D Lately I have been trying to figure out what my talents are, but everyoen is so much better at everything than I am. Oh well. I like to draw comics. My limited drawing ability is due in part to my huge obsession with animation. Knowing a lot about 1930's cartoons is a talent, right? Also I write a lot, which has developed into a talent for writing newspaper articles. I am editor-in-chief at my high school paper (something I am extremely proud of, which is why I mention it so often.) I may be good at those things, but there is always someone better. People tend to classify me as a "good writer" instead of an "excellent writer." There really isn't a single thing that I excel at, even though other people seem to be good at [i]everything[/i]. -Shy[/size]
Ninjaman
I guess my talents are drawing and writing. I draw a LOT. I mainly draw anime style, which I'm slowly improving at. As for writing, I'm guessing I really am good at it. I'm writing a book right now and my friends seem to really like it. But when it comes to something I don't want to write, like say an essay for school on a topic I don't like, my writing stinks.
future girl
i'm pretty good at writing and umm, maybe sometimes drawing, if i really want to be. it all depends on the mood. according to my teacher i'm a genius at photoshop:) but, in the end despite that i have a knack for some things, there's always room for perfection, so yea, that's how that goes. BabyGirl
[color=deeppink]Photography is my main talent, probably the only one that I've had enough time and patience to fine tune. Dancing comes pretty naturally since I've been doing it all my life, but it's not something I'm good enough at to pursue as a career; too many people are far more talented at it than I. I suppose that a gift for writing is something that I've always had, too, but it often frustrates me more than anything. My intangible talent is passion, I love people very deeply and completely.[/color]
Syk3
I suppose that my talent is drawing. I usually prefer drawing from something else, in particular. Anyone who has seen my old DBZ drawings know what I'm talking about. I also get a lot of compliments over other peices of work that I may have done in art class or something. My mom actually framed one of my paintings. -__- I really didn't like it that much though. I havn't been thrilled over some of the art I've done in art class lately, however. That's mostly due to the fact that it deals with painting, which smears and is sometimes hard to use. Drawing with a pencil and colored pencil is what I really like to do.. Guest Fiasco
Well now, lets see, I can write well. Reason being because I'm creative in some ways. I am also musically inclined, I play guitar, drums, and bass. More bass then the other three. I also play sports, any sport other then football and basketball I'll play. I'm quite good in golf, tennis, soccer, and especially lacrosse.
Charles
Writing is my flavor of the week. It's art; I love it because I can commit ideas and emotions onto a page, that I'd never be able to say in words. And, you know, writing is a lot like painting because you're spilling out your very own creation onto a "canvas" of sorts. It's reminiscent of taking all those bottled-up thoughts that clutter your head, and actually putting them to use by creating your very own little worlds with 'em. Cool stuff, for sure. I don't know if I'll stick with it; it might not be a true talent. Meaning, I might not excel at it enough to convert my interest in it into a palpable career. But, I've always received high praise from my teachers; they like my style or something. One of them told me not to waste my "talent", so I've decided to give it a go. I've turned in my story for fiction writing workshop, and I'm awaiting my critique date (the 28th). It's the most critical class I've been in, so the opinions of my professor and classmates will be of the utmost importance. If they believe that I have talent, I'll consider taking it further. amibasuki
[FONT=arial]I think my best talent is music, specifically playing the piano. I can draw a bit as well, and I guess memorizing stuff is a talent.......*blank stare*. I can kind of act, maybe if I can get an opportunity *cough* I'll be able to see how I really do at it. as for sports.......hehe, I'm a lost cause ^_^'. Juu
[color=ff00cc] [size=1]I think my main talents are dancing and acting. I've been acting all my life, and whenever I have some spare time at home, I usually download movie/play scripts and recite them. I've been on the dance team for two years now, and I really love making routines. Before I got into dancing, my friends used to tell me I should, since I was very flexible. Suu... yeah. ^_^;[/color] [/size]
JCBaggee
[color=red][size=1][font=arial]Acting is my first talent. There's nothing I love better than being able to lose myself in a phenomonal charachter. My second would be web design. Anyone who's seen my site will (hopefully) back me up. And, finally, I have an uncanny ability to remember the most trivial of knowledge. I can't tell you about the Periodic Table, but I can probably tell you what happened in episode "x" of TV show "y". *sigh....I'm such a loser... --Chris[/color][/size][/font]
Semjaza
I am talented in absolutely nothing. I'm average at anything and everything I do, regardless of how interested I am in it. I play a few different instruments, draw, and so on... sure I can do these things, but not remarkably well. So I don't really consider them "talents" as much as they are "interests." Because rejection is a major part of starting out as a writer. Can you keep on going? (Thanks Elite)
Braidless Baka
Personally... For me my "talent" (said very tentively) is writing. I've written for a number of years, and although I still have aways to go, I think I can pinpoint what I'm doing wrong most of the time. Fanfiction's my strong point though I think, because I don't have to build up the story from scratch ;) but that's just me being lazy!
Red
[b][size=1]Wintermute, the quote tags are (without the spaces): [ quote]quote here[ /quote]. You can also use the 'quote' button at the bottom right of someones post, next to the 'edit' button. ^_^ Anyway, I think I have a talent for writing. I've always loved doing it, creating my own little worlds and characters using my imagination. It's given me a use for my very strange train of thought. I suppose one of my other talents is music.. but I have yet to excel in anything within that yet. I mean, I can play lots of stuff, but not very well. I sing, but that needs improving. :)[/b][/size]
