XxmagentaxX
My parents just kinda got over it that Im not as smart as my brother, so they arent as harsh. The only classes I got bad grades in was math. Cuz I dont really understand it, and when I asked for help they just did it for me instead of explaing it. I hate that! But that is really lame that you have to quit your job. Charles
I never got in trouble for bad grades. To put my upbringing into perspective--growing up, I was never grounded. Not even once. So, discipline wasn't exactly a factor for my success in school. I've always just tried my best for my own personal reasons. That's the only motivation I've ever had. Anyway, rebelling against your parents probably isn't the best solution. I'll bet that they made you quit your job because they assumed that it interfered with your schooling. Becoming a brat over something like this probably won't make them change their ways. After all, fighting for independence when you're very much dependent is kinda lame. Solid
well... ill use numbners on this one cause in israel we dont gets Abcd but ?/10. anyway im about an 85/100 student, my grades are ussually high (until this year) and i really dont try to get high grades, causw in some subjects i just dont care, i have no notebooks except my head... anyway this year in math ive learned the meaning of disappointment, i am supposed to have 75 to go to advanced class next year because I want to, but im struggking over to the point and each time i get a 60 or 65 i kind of ground myself cause im very disappointed, as for my parents, my father ussually says: you can do better, but you just doesnt learn, and if i do learn he just says :"You can do better" my mother... well i think (though my parents tell me it aint so) that she keeps comparing me to my A+ sister, she aint punishing me, but she scream abit... but im quiet happy with my parents they are very not harsh (on grades that is lol). i dont think rebelling your parents actually works, you should prodably better of coming and relaxly talk to them... if you rebel them it might make your punishment even harder (if anything can be harder...) Defcon5
Well, on my half quarter report I have 5 A's 3 B's and one F. My parents didn't do anything to me but that's only because I usually get a B in that class and they trust that I can bring it up. But my mom is chcking in on me to make sure I am getting it up. Which I have, just today, it's no longer a F but a D- thanks to that B+ on the test. And Solid, according to what you said you'd be a B- student. G.D. Ryoko
I never get punished for bad grades because I never get bad grades, except when I got my last report card. I got a 75/100 in gym and technology for those who don`t use that grading system thats like a C+. Technology, te teacher did not know I finish my project so she is going to change my grade but gym? I jus think that thegym teaches don`t like me. However if I do get bad grades, I don`t get in trouble. I just do what I always do.(Nothing)
zidane11
That's my exact same punishment except I got a F because my teacher lost my project. Except that I have to quit my job until next year.

EcCenTriC fairy
One time I got a C and my parents grounded me for an entire 9 weeks. >.< They've gotten a little better with dealing with my C's now because I make them in Honors courses.
