Senor Ding Dong
Sonic has 2 new GBA outings, mentioned in the title. BAttle is an isometric fighting game, where you can take on 3 other characters. This game includes 8 characters, and a hidden one. Shadow, Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles are confirmed. I would think that Cream, Amy, and Rouge are somewhere in there too. Pinball, is a pinball game, which includes Nights & Sanba de Amigo tables. It also includes Chao Minigames, like the infamous Chao Garden, and Chao Roulette. Sounds interesting, huh? I get 2 free games from my parents(2 games for no special occasion) And theses are the games i'm getting. Your opinions.
Semjaza
I read about and saw some shots of the Battle game a few weeks ago. It actually looks like a lot of fun... almost like a 2D deathmatch game. Uses a lot of Mode 7, but still looks quite nice. I personally can't get excited over portable pinball games though.
Hyper
Battle doesn't look like much to me. In reviews I've read it's all the same. Partly custom atatcks, but pretty much the same for every character. And the arenas aren't what I thought. I'm probably not gonna buy the game. Seems like almost a waste to me. They coul do much better. And pinball too. Bleh.
Epitome
Battle looks good and I would buy that, but pinball, I wouldnt get pinball, because me personally, I hate all pinball games except for the actual arcade ones. I dont like vidoe game pinball.
GiveaReason
I read some E3 hands-on of Sonic Battle. It doesn't sound that great. It's supposed to be a button masher. Maybe it will get better when it's complete, but the E3 impressions of it at different sites didn't make me want to play the game. I'm actually more interested in the Sonic Pinball game. Nice variety of tables and the E3 impressions I read of it say the physics are good too. It has more tables than any other GBA pinball game and they look very nice in the screenshots. The tables seem to have in-table mini-games (the arcade styled ones with the timer) and there is a special mode with mini-games called Casinopolis. It may not sound like much, but this game has the potential to be one of the best pinball games on GBA.
