[font=courier new]After seeing the X-Men movie a few days ago I decided to write up an RPG on what the next movie might be like. I would ask that only people who don't mind spoilers on the current film continue on from here.

[i]Mutants, the children of the atom, they represent the next possible link in our evolution, although some do not wish to admit the possibility of this. Mutation is a naturally occurring phenomenon in the human gene pool, passed on by parents to their children and maybe even onto their children. Mutation occurs around puberty and is often brought on by great mental and emotional stress. Very few mutants have the same powers but all have a similar enemy and that is some of the more radical thinking non-mutant humans. They fear and despise what they do not understand and respond with violence and hatred when confronted about their ideals.

However we mutants have or a safe place and that is Professor Xavier's School for the Gifted. Xavier himself is a mutant, a very powerful one indeed with great mental abilities. He believed that humans and mutants could live in peace with one another. His beliefs have been ridiculed by some mutants and members of the human community. There is another mutant who takes in and trains mutants, and his name is Magneto. Magneto believes that a war has erupted between humans and mutants and from recent events he is right. Magneto recruits mutants who have been long scourged by humans or are frustrated with what they see as Xavier's foolish ideals about peace. It was his intent to wipe out all human life leaving only mutants to live on the planet.

Thankfully he was stopped however the cost was far more than great, we lost a valued teammate and a very good friend, Dr. Jean Grey. Jean sacrificed herself to save the entire team at the Weapon X facility in Alaska, where one man William Stryker planned the elimination of the entire mutant population using his custom built Cerebro and a mind controlled Professor Xavier. Stryker was killed when the dam in which the facility was located in burst and destroyed the entire area. Both Professor Xavier, Magneto and their teams survived the battle and are now facing their greatest enemy yet.... the Sentinels

After a communication from Stryker to the President, while in his Weapon X base, Stryker informed the President that there were Mutant fanatics planning their attacks against the human citizen populations. The President believed these allegations without question, having only recently suffered an attempt on his life by a mutant, although not to his knowledge one being controlled by Stryker. The President then implemented his defense against the mutants, the Sentinels. The Sentinels were created with a similar technology to Cerebro being able to identify a being with a mutant gene. Their programming was designed so that they would capture mutants alive for the safety of the normal human race. However their program was altered so that they eliminate mutants on contact rather than capture.

This has caused the death of many mutants and it must be stopped before through the fear and prejudice of the few eliminates an entire race of people who are being killed just for being different. Magneto and Professor Xavier have put aside their difference in order to defeat this threat, however Professor Xavier believes that Magneto may have another plan in his mind, namely the killing of the President to end the attacks. Both Professor Xavier and Magneto desperately gather new mutants to their sides to avoid destruction but they may be only stalling the inevitable. These are dark days for mutants and it is only hope that will guide us through them, so begins Mutant Armageddon.[/i]

[i]Name[/i]: Lucas Farrell

[i]Age[/i]: 16

[i]Nationality[/i]: Irish, later moved to America

[i]Powers[/i]: Lucas has the ability to create and manipulate electricity. He can charge his powers for a time and release a bolt of lightning at up to 15,000 volts. Although he has such powers, they are relatively dormant as he has not tapped in to his full potential yet.

[i]Side[/i]: None at the moment

[i]History[/i]: Lucas lived in Ireland with his mother and father until just over 6 years ago, when everyone in his family except him was killed in a freak lightning storm. Having no relations left in Ireland Lucas moved to New York where his father's brother Ben lived and ran the computer labs his brother and he had started. Ben was very influenced by the media and didn't like mutants all that much. He thought that they were dangerous, which is how they were portrayed on television. Ben was a fairly likeable guy except when he had had one too many to drink and his temper flared, and because he was 6'7" and weighed about 300lbs. Lucas just stayed the hell out of his way until his cooled off.

Ben suspected that there was something odd about his nephew Lucas because equipment he worked on always seemed to have electrical interferences of some kind. Ben guessed rightly that Lucas was indeed a mutant and because of the lies the media broadcaster about the dangerous nature of mutants and how they were aggressive and violent toward "normal" humans, Ben was worried his nephew might just turn violent, so he called the police to take Lucas into custody for his own (Lucas's) safety.

Lucas didn't quite see it that way and tried to escape but was tackled by his uncle in the process, Ben was much stronger than Lucas and was easily able to restrain him, that was until he felt a massive electric shock run through his body, Lucas was absolutely freaked and just left the house immediately five minutes later. He packed some clothes, some food and all the money he had. He checked to see if his uncle Ben was alive, and to his relief he just seemed a little stunned and was coming around. Lucas thanks his Uncle for all that he had done for him but said it was time for him to make his own way in the world. He ran as fast a he could but hadn't a clue of where he was going.

[i]Appearance[/i]: Lucas is quite tall and slim standing 6'3" tall and weighing just about 140lbs., even so he is quite well built and has short light brown hair and dark blue eyes, which are either covered by rimless glasses or sunglasses. He is clean cut and would be considered quite good looking by the opposite sex. He usually wears a short sleeved wine colored shirt with oriental designs running down the front side, a pair of light blue jeans and a pair of beige trainers.

[i]Personality[/i]: Lucas has a great sense of humor and is quite the ladies man, he is also calm and patient though, but can also be slightly rash at times. Overall he's just a nice guy, who gets on well with everyone he meets.[/font]

[Frankie]

Name: Arianna Hiaku (Are-E-Aun-na = Hi- AH- Ku)

Age: 17

Nationality: Japanese (she looks more american though)

Powers: She can leap very high. Run very fast. She can run on all fours if she has to. She can also control wind....but wind only.

Side: N/A

History: Ever since she was 3 she could jump easily and was the fastest kid of her age. Her parents learned of the problems and ditched her on the side of the road... When she was 5. They figured that she was a mutant that could take care of herself...with these skills... And they were correct.... She took care of herself.

Appearance: Quite tall... Slender and her pitch black hair is streaked with bright pure ORANGE. Her eyes are slitted like a cats eye and her front teeth are sharp. He fingernails are long, sharp, and pointed. Her eyes are yellow. She has a tail as well, which she uses for balance and speed. Her skin color is a tannish color but... has slight stripes to it... stripes of black.

Personality: Never talks unless spoken to. And sometimes she does nto talk even IF she is spoken too. She does not live in the city for... She is outcast.. unwanted. Anyone can see by her skin color her hair and her tail and hands that she is mutant. She lives on the outskirts of a town... In the forest. She comes out at night ... to sneak into peoples houses and steal food that will last her for a few days. She has a very bad temper... But this hardly surfaces... She is more of a silent person speaking with only body language and geastures. She is also quite lonely but... never lets that show... she does not trust people easily.... for fear of being hurt, betrayed, or killed. In all... she is the quiet loner who is only alone...because she was forced to be alone. All she truely wants deep down inside.... are friends.

Name: James Howlett (birth name), currently known as Logan

Age: Unknown, his powers make it impossible to deter.

Nationality: Canadian

Powers: Wolverine is blessed with animal keen sense which enable him to track down anyone or thing with an incredible degree of accuracy. He has an incredible healing factor which enables him to endure severe injuries which would leave anyone else dead. Surface wounds to the skin heal in a matter of seconds and extensive wounds take mere hours to heal.

His skeleton has also been laced with the indestructable metal adimantium which makes his bones impossible to break. He also has admantium claws housed in his forearms which extend through the skin between his knuckles

Side: Xavier's

History: James Howlett, the mutant now known as Wolverine, was born into privilege in Alberta, Canada, during the late 19th century, the second son of John and Elizabeth Howlett. Young James' mother was distant and remote due to the untimely death of her first son. Growing up, the sickly James was close friends with the red-headed Rose, his companion and tutor, and "Dog," the son of the Howlett?s cruel groundskeeper Thomas Logan.

Dog?s growing obsession with Rose finally prompted him to attack her -- forcing James? father to fire Thomas, and evict him and Dog from their home on the Howlett estate. The groundskeeper and his son stole into the mansion the next night and attempted to convince Mrs. Howlett to leave with them. Apparently, Thomas and Elizabeth Howlett had been engaged in an ongoing affair. When John Howlett interrupted their discussion, Thomas shot and killed his former employer. At the shock of seeing his father murdered, James manifested his latent mutant abilities, and bone claws jutted from the back of each hand. The beast within the boy unleashed at last, James attacked and killed Thomas, and slashed Dog?s face. Completely unhinged by the violence, Elizabeth took her own life.

James suffered a severe breakdown; his mutant abilities "healed" his mind as well as his body, blocking all memories of his last months at the Howlett estate. Because Rose and James were blamed for the deaths at the mansion, she spirited him away to a British Columbia mining colony. Rose gave James the name "Logan," so that his real identity would remain unknown.

The frail "Logan" grew into a strapping young man at the mine and became known for his strength and ferocity. He spent a great deal of time among the wolves in the nearby wilderness, discovering he had more in common with the wild beasts than his fellow man. Bullied incessantly, Logan acquired the nickname "Wolverine" thanks to his tenacity and refusal to back down from a challenge.

Logan?s happiness at the camp came to an end when Dog tracked him down. Finally remembering the night of his father?s death, Logan fought Dog savagely. During the struggle, Logan accidentally impaled Rose on his claws, killing her. Wracked by grief over the death of the woman he truly loved, he fled into the woods. Logan was not seen again for many years, but the legend of the man called Wolverine had begun.

The rest of Logan?s life is shrouded in mystery, peppered with half-truths and anecdotal reports of unconfirmed sightings. His healing factor seems to act against the effects of aging -- which would explain why, as a man of more than 120 years, he appears to be in his mid-30s.

In the latter half of the 20th century, the Canadian government subjected Logan to a bizarre battery of experiments intended to forge the ultimate killing machine. Weapon X scientists grafted the indestructible metal adamantium to Logan's skeleton and bone claws, and introduced memory implants that shaped his past to suit their ends. Combined with the earlier effects of his healing factor, these false memories have made it impossible for Logan to discern fact from fiction when recalling his former life. He now knows little of his past, save that it was fraught with pain and loss.

Logan joined the X-men when he was rescued after meeting the mutant, rouge, when she tried to sneak a ride with him but was discovered. Then as magneto's forces hunted roge down Logan got caught up in the middle of it and was saved by the X-men.

Logan chose to stay on partly due to his belief in Xavier?s vision for the co-existence of humans and mutants, and partly because of his attraction to Jean Grey. During his time with the X-Men, Logan has worked to regain his lost memories, but virtually every answer leads him to even more new questions. And since joining, Logan has proved a valuable asset to teh team on multiple occasions although his blind rage could also get him in trouble.

Although he would rarely admit it, Logan remains with the X-Men because he feels the team is the closest thing he has to a family in the world. Serving with the X-Men has given Logan what he had been missing for so long: a cause worth fighting for. Still somewhat uncontrollable and unpredictable in battle, and prone to an occasional berserker rage, Wolverine has proven to be a tremendous asset to the team; he continues to make his home in Xavier?s mansion. Beneath his brutish exterior, Wolverine will always be the scared, insecure boy who lashed out at the world all those years ago, doomed never to make peace with his troubled past. Haunted by half-forgotten demons, he fights for those who can't fight for themselves -- kindred spirits, victims all.



Appearance: Tall man with medium build and clearly defined muscles. Has a naturally rugged look to him with long side boards coming down almost to his chin, and hair which comes to a peak at each side knd of resemblingthe pointy ears of a dog like animal. Wears black or blue jeans with a white or black vest top. When going out puts on a blue denim jacket and black leather jacket which has three red rings around each arm, over the top.

Personality: Logan is a very agressive man and comes across as very intimidating at first but is an ok guy when you get to know him. After making a promise would do whatever it takes to defend rouge and he would risk his own life for the team.

[B]History:[/B] During WWII, Jan and his parents did not support Hitler and the Nazi party. In fact, they opposed them. They believed that the Jews were as human as they were, so they hid many of them in their basement. The Nazis became more and more suspicious of the Weiss family so they sent the SS to search their house without notice. Scared for the refugees, Jan rushed down to the basement to try to do anything he could to protect them. Once he got there, a strange portal opened up in front of him. He looked through it and saw a city he had never seen before. His attention was brought back to the room as the SS tried to break down the door he had locked behind him. Hoping that the city was anywhere outside of German territory, he led the Jews through the portal. The SS broke in the door, saw what he was doing and shot at him. Wilhelm held up a hand and a portal opened in front of him, catching all of the bullets. They then tried to throw a grenade, but he just opened another portal and caught it. The SS then took his parents hostage and threatened to kill them if he didn't stop resisting. Jan gave in and they knocked him out and brought both him and his family to a detention center to be executed. As his parents were being taken away, he woke up and opened a portal for them to escape through. They didn't want to leave their son, so they didn't move. The guards executed them on the spot and knocked jan out again. When he came to this time, he found that he was tied to a post and facing a firing squad. They opened fire and he opened a portal in front of himself and then several in front of them. The bullets came back and killed the soldiers and the boy escaped into a portal. He stayed in the strange dimension for what seemed like a short time, but when he came out, everything had changed and he was in a strange country filled with people who spoke a strange language. He soon found out that he was in America. Then, some people who he couldn't understand tried to take him away. He ran through several portals until he was far away from the strange people. A day later, a voice inside his head, speaking in his own language, told him that everything would be all right and that it knows what he is and he would be safe if he came to the "School of the Gifted". Thinking he had gone crazy, he tried to ignore the voice but it wouldn't go away. And the strangest thing of all, it taught him the language that most of the people seemed to speak in the city.
[B]Appearance:[/B] Jan, or Wilhelm to his friends, has bright blue eyes, long, white blond hair and tan skin. He usually wears black pants, black boots, a black sleeveless shirt, and a black choker. He has also recently got a tattoo on his right bicep of a swastika in a red, empty circle with a single red line crossing it out. On his left bicep, he has a tattoo that reads, "Bigots only hurt themselves".
[B]Personality:[/B] Wilhelm still has a hard time trusting some people, especially humans. he'll be bleak sometimes, but most of the time he's pretty cheerful. He also hates bigots and their narrow opinions of people that are different from themselves.

[b]Powers:[/b] Mayhem is known for his amazing agility and his ability to shoot Bio Blasts from his mouth ( Similar to Chamber's ability). However the blast are invisble untill they hit their target.

[b]Side:[/b] Neither.

[b]History:[/b] Mayhem was born in a small town in Georgia, he lived a normal life. He wasn't the coolest guy, but he certainly wasn't an outcast. When he was 12 his throat started swelling, and it became to soar for him to talk. His stomach was constantly acting up, and threw up regularly. His father (who was also a mutant) knew what he was going through. His father, while not a student of Xavier, knew him quite well. Talked to him and got Mayhem over to the school so he could be helped in his time of need. They studied his throat and determined it was not an illness, he was mutating.

Since he is young he is still mutating. Who knows what other powers he may develop.

[b]Appearance:[/b] Pretty short, and is really skinny as well. He has a very small muscular structure. But remains quite strong. His hair is red and mildly long. Coming down to his mid-cheek. His hair is soft too, silky almost. His eyes are pure white. And his vision is nearly perfect. His usual clothing consists of a red trench coat. It is kept open, not closed. Exposing what he wears underneath. He has a small chest plate on. Along with some baggy black pants. He wears tight fitting, light-weight shoes. White shoes, with no laces.

[b]Personality:[/b] Mayhem is a spastic guy. Jumping at every little thing. He is not scared, but just a little high strung. He doesn't take any chances and won't fight unless he knows he will win. Or is forced too. He only divulges information about himself to those he knows best. And few take the time to get to know him. But, once they do they find out he is really a good guy. He has a good sense of humor. Despite his social problem, he relates well with many people. But only to an extent, he has no love life. He was never really attracted to the opposite sex, not the same sex either though. Mayhem thinks he has no place in this world, but if he does. He would like to find it.

Name: Tatiana Sashenka

Age: 15

Nationality: Russian, but lives in America

Powers: Mist/Water/Plant. She can create a mist around her at any moment. Her water powers are more rain centered (creating a thunderstorm for instance) but once in a while, she can pull off a giant tidal wave or "waterfall" but it drains her energy immensly. Her plant powers are more experimental than her other two. She has small control over it. But even though it drains her energy more than tidal waves, she can still use them as a last resort. Small things like growing vines aren't bad, but using them too attack is hard on her.

Side: Xavier

History: Tatiana originally lived in Russia with her family. She led a pretty much normal life until she turned thirteen. It happened while she was playing with her brothers by a pond in a forest. Beside the pond was a giant rock that they had been forbidden to climb. But, the youngest of her older brothers, Dmitri, decided to go anyway. He climbed the gigantic rock and while showing off, toppled off. Out of some strange reaction, Tatiana reached out towards the water bringing up a burst of strong water. With lightning speed, she maneuvered it over to her brother. The water burst up under him, keeping the poor boy afloat and then bringing him gently back to the ground.
Her brothers were scared to death at the fact that their sister was a mutant. They all ran home to tell their mother of what they had found out. Scared and alone, Tatiana knew the consequences for being a mutant in her country. So she made a hard decission to make a run for it. With nothing but the clothes on her back and charity from a few good people, she made it to America! New York City to be precise.
She lived for a few years; until she was fifteen. Then she met Nightcrawler, a mutant from the Xavier Institute. Nightcrawler told her all about the institute and Xavier. She liked the ideals of the place, so she decided to try it out.
Within five days, Tatiana was enrolled in Professer Xavier's School for the Gifted.

Appearance: Tatiana is about average height for a girl her age. Her dyed navy blue (originally blonde) hair is a bit above her shoulders, but the cut is a bit choppy (think Yuki Sohma from Fruits Basket). Her eyes are carmine (see attachment). She usually wears a light blue tank top underneath an odd sort of jacket (follow directions at the bottom of the post for an idea; it?s the one on the left) that she always leaves open and dark blue jeans (gee, can anyone guess her favorite color?).

Personality: Tatiana is (despite being forced out of her country) is quite cheery and energetic on the outside. She loves playing games, no matter how simple or complicated for that matter, and dancing. Most of her friends happen to be guys; she seems to relate to them more than the other girls at school. She?s usually the leader when it comes to the pranks they pull and has gotten in trouble more than once for fighting. She?s your typical tough girl. But there?s one catch: Tatiana has never had a boyfriend, so she?s clueless when it comes to love.

Name: Uldune Requiem

Age: 17

Nationality: Amazonian

Powers: Sense, hearing, smell, sight, and some tendencies of the tiger. He also has extremely good reflexs thanks to his bodys' compisition.

Side:

History: Uldune is a VERY visible mutant. He looks like a walking tiger, yet he is humanish (erm). He is from a native tribe in the Amazon rain forest. Because of his appearance, his people worshipped him as an animal god. He did not want that treatment, since they would commit sacrifices and the such "for him". He does not know his real name, for his people called him Uldune (prounounced UHL-dew-NEIGH). He knows the english language very well thanks to a priest who lived with his tribe. The priest knew what he was, and sent him to America. Unlike his people, the society of America hated him, or were afraid. He lives in the outskirts of Buffalo, New York, near the Canadian border in the wilderness. He has been there by himself for 8 years. He is extremely animalistic, because he has the sight, sense, smell, hearing, and some tendencies of the tiger. Hence why his people worshipped him.

Personality: Uldune is a loner. He knows nothing of civilization, and never has. He is very animalistic in nature, where things like territory, even smiles, mean something. He has not talked in a little over 8 years so he decides not to speak.

Okay...

Name: Danny Tomson

Age: 29

Nationalty: England

Powers: Fire, water, wind...(All the elements.)

Side: I'll be good, Pro.X

history: Danny was born in England, but later his mother knew what he was. His father hated him ad forced him to leave at the age of 17. Danny then learned to controle his power and met other mutants. They told him there story, and he hated humans. He set out to kill them all, but never di because he still loved his mother. The he went to Pro.X school.

Appearance: Fire red hair, Black wings, rock hard chest, blue tail, electrical hands (to shock people) and pretty tall.

Personallity: Silent, but deadly when fighting.

[Outlaw]

Name: James "Shockwave" Mcallister

Age: 18

Nationality: American

Powers: Shockwave possesses the ability to bodily generate thermo-chemical energy and release it from his skin. This energy, released by an act of will, is accompanied by smoke, flame and condensation, much like the exhaust of a rocket engine. At his present level of experience, he can only release this energy in one direction, beneath him. The equal and opposite reaction to this thrust causes his body to be propelled through the air like a human rocket. Accompanying the release of energy is a half-inch thick energy field which channels the explosion and protects his skin from the direct effects of the blast. It also negates momentum and related energy effects thereby cushioning his entire body from any impact up to a half-minute from the depletion of his energy. Not only is he protected from rough landings, but he is also protected from nearly all types of injury while in flight. The protective field also protects any person or object with which he is in physical contact. [b]Basically, he's Cannonball.[/b]

Side: Magneto

History: Shockwave is the newest member of Magneto's Bortherhood. James grew up a Boarder and Skater in Denver, Colorado. But life changed the day young James shot through the celling of his home, causeing the entire house to collapse. Luckily, no one was home at the time. However, after flying straight up into the air and being unable to control his flight, James plumetted to Earth. The impact sent him into a comma which lasted nearly a month.

When he awoke, James' world had been flipped upside down. The first people he saw where his family, Rick, his father, and Ann, his mother. All of them where scared and confused. Over the next few years, James began to understand his powers, even control them. His parents where always very supportave of him.

However, one morning James found himself awakening in a strange room with no windoes and a barred door. He attempted to escape, but the room was steel reinforced. For days he sat waiting for some sort of human contact. A bowl of slop was slid through a hole in the door's bottom twise a day, but noone would speak with him. He didn't even know where he was or why he was there.

After a week of confinment, a remarkable event occured. The door to his cell simply ripped off, and a mysterious man in red entered the room. He explained that his name was Magneto, and that James was being held in a mutant containment facility in Nevada. Magneto was here to rescue him. From that day on, James has followed Magneto, swearing to serve him to the death. James still does not know how he arrived at the center, and cannot find his family, but is determinded to discover the truth about his past and why he spent weeks in hell.

I know, kind of a week backstory, ut its 3 in the morning, cut me some slack.

Appearance: James has long shaggy blonde hair and deeply taned skin from flying at his altitudes. His body has been firmly chiseled from nearly a year of training with the Brotherhood. He often wears casual skater/boarder clothes, ex: sweatshirts, cargs, jeans, whatever, usually somewhat gunge. However, when in action for Magneto, he has a Black full body suit made with similar materials to that of the X-Men, but with a large M on the chest rather than an X, and red outlining rather than yellow.

Personality: James is a very mellow guy with a good sense of humor. He likes to avoid conflict whenever possible, but his loyalty to Magneto often has him going into battle, which he has grown to accept. Even when fightling, he always looks for the non-lethal alternatives.

[Eclectic]

Name: Sharia Hudson
Age: 17
Nationality: American
Powers: Cat-like reflexes, improved vision and hearing
Side:
History: I'll fill this in a little later...
Appearance: 5'5, red hair with black streaks and roots, caramel skin, amber colored eyes with slits for pupils, black cat ears. Usually wears a baby blue hoodie and black baggy jeans with baby blue Tims
