What is the deal when i asked upperdeck about them back when magic ruler was just being relesed they said they wern't going to make them and now i see them in about every on-line store that sels cards. I asked the guy who runs the tourments at my local store about em. he didn't know anything. I asked my freind who runs the league (for those who don't know about it its the one thats at books-a-million toysrus etc.) my frist thought when i saw them was that thaey were duleist league promos (the super rare buster balder and thousand eye restrict) But he said they were to come in a vidoe game for the Ps2.
well i did my research and now i'm back were i started. Knowing the god cards are out, upperdeck lied to me, and everyone i ask knows about as much as me. Also if they came in a vedioe game that hasn't been relsesd yet then why are stores already selling them.

I don't they lied to you on purpose. The probably just had a change of plans. God Cards weren't really well-known in the English series (Well everybody knew, but if you only watched the show you'd wouldn't have known them).
When Magic Ruler was out, the probably didn't have plans for them at the moment. Now I guess they decided to for more money. But I can't say I'm surprised.

The english god cards you see now Gouf are the ones from the JP World Wide Edition. See that's what confused me when I saw the G-Cards appearing left and right but then I put 2 and 2 together to figure that out. So thats why you are seen the G-Cards already. I'm guessing THE AMERICAN ones will be released with Falsbound Kingdom seeing as that game has yet to make its American Debut.

I done a little research my self.

First My friend @ school said that his cousin got his @ a Tornament(sp)

Second I thought that they are coming in "mass production" in the Leagacy of Darkness set (the next expan.)

Third Now the coming in game, But wouldn't that decrease the value

I'm as confused as you guys are :confuse2:.

Uhhh... Whoever told you they were in a tournament pack is obviously full of it.

Secondly coming in the LOD expan? Sorry but that wouldn't even be right. The gods are too powerful to even be mass produced otherwise they'd be legalized in tournies.

Thirdly no, them being in games only makes their price skyrocket even more. Say that game were to go out of production then those God Cards would be extremely rare and extremely expensive to get. So no their value wouldn't decrease.

Yes , as domen said they came in the Japansese version of WWE (World Wide Edition) for GBA but sadly the American WWE didn't come with these "great cards". But only came with Sinister Serphent, Harpies Feather Duster and Magnet Valkyrion. But in all truth I think these cards arn't really worth it there not tournament legal, You can't use them because of their attribute and worst of all instead of the nice effects on the show you get crappy flavoured text.

The god cards are tournament legal. They dont come in boosters but they came in special japanese games which had either Joey Wheeler, Yami Yugi, or Seto Kaiba on the front of the box. They do not sell anymore either. The only time a god card was released into a booster pack there was ONLY ONE,Oblesk the Tormenter. Ra and Slifir were only released in games or could be bought individually. You can pre order all three LEGAL god cards on qualitycollectibles.com.EDIT: yes they do have all the effects in the show. Its all printed on the card. God i mean Ra's print must have to be read with a telescope.

I totally agree with gouf. The gods are not legal. Check out Edo's website, he wrote a comeplete essay on the gods. They do not have the effects, its just flavored text. And yes you are somewhat correct. The gods were released in three seperate games. Joey had Ra. Yugi's had Osiris. And of course Kaiba had his new iggle pet, Obelisk. And I've looked at Quality collectibles.com, that's where i mentioned them. But, the half with the text was hacked off. So I highly sugguest you don't make stuff up.

Duelist of the Roses is already out, and with that came Alpha, Beta and Gamma the Magnet Warriors. The God Cards are already out in a sense, but have no effects printed on them. It's whether Tournament legal God Cards will come out soon that matters.

Whoever told you that the God Cards are in Duelists of the Roses is full of crap. Duelists of the Roses has been out since January of this year. FALSEBOUND KINGDOM has yet to be released in America and it probably will include the god cards and it may not. All I know is that they are not tournament legal and probably won't be. But if they do then they'll be limited to one per deck. Or Konami may make a special ruling and say only one god card in a deck. Like say you have all three, Konami might make a ruling saying you can only put one in one deck and the other two in two other seperate decks. But that's highly doubtful.

Due to the volume of questions we received in regards to this matter, UDE would like to put this matter to rest. The "English" print God cards are for distribution in Japan only. Konami of Japan is printing these cards, not Upper Deck. They are not Tournament legal. They have no effect text, no way to summon them to the field and no Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG© logo on the back of them. This is because they are not part of the game; they are strictly promotional cards. As such, they cannot be placed in your deck. They are for collector's purposes only. We also have no plans to produce these cards in North America.
This was on Upperdeck's forbidden/limited list. As you can see, the God Cards are probably not coming out in North America ever.

Well we all know how Konami and UDE tend to contradict themselves and then I bet in maybe later on down the road the God Cards will be released because otherwise they'll be getting a flood of pissed off letters from people telling them to release them and make them Tourny Legal.

Call me crazy but I'll rejoice when that happens only because using the god cards makes it all the more challenging and more interesting. So I say it again, I doubt Konami and UDE will keep that promise.
