Manic Webb
Who here is a fan of Scooby Doo? I've never seen a Scooby Doo TV series that I didn't like. I even liked that 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo show, which almost nobody else seems to like. I like the new show, What's New Scooby Doo? They even remodeled the Mystery Machine slightly, with a backseat (seatbelt laws, nowadays) and a fold-down TV monitor on the ceiling. I think they're doing an okay job with Scooby, without jazzing him up into some other talking dog. So what do you all think of the Scooby shows? The characters? Stuff like that... trivia: Who is Flim-Flam?
Semjaza
I really, really do not like Scooby Doo... I never liked the original show or Scooby Doo Movies (with the movie guests, I think that's the name) or Scrappy Doo or any of the remakes. I kind of liked A Pup Named Scooby Doo though... and the newer animated movies aren't all that bad. I guess that over my lifetime I've just seen way, way too many episodes and it feels like they are all exactly the same in concept. The main problem is that Cartoon Network used to play Scooby Doo for what seemed like 15 times a day. Whenever I hoped to see something else, it was always Scooby Doo... So I'm not very fond of it heh.
Mighty kai
I guess i really liked Scooby doo when i was a young kid. But i dont like it as much though. And i did not like Scrappy doo at all.
Angelus
If scooby do was never around I would have been a much happier person growing up. I really disliked the show. And I will leave my coment at that.

EcCenTriC fairy
If I had it my way, Scooby would go kill Scrappy or something. I hate Scrappy with a passion - he's an embarassment to the Doo family!
JCBaggee
Flim Flam was the little kid in the yellow jacket from Thirteen Ghosts of Scooby-Doo, a series which earns cool points for featuring Vincent Price ^_^ As for Scooby, I like the series' (though I haven't watched the new WB! one) and was highly disappointed in the movie. --Chris
Kwai
God... I hate that dog and that puppy... I used to like it, but they did it over and over and over and over in CN... and now I just can't stand to even hear about them. If I hear Scrappy saying "DA DA DA DAAAAA! PUPPY POWER!" I would seriously put an axe through the Tv.
Manic Webb
Cringe cringe, shudder shudder. I hate Scrappy Doo. He's the only extended member of that family I hate. Scooby Dum wasn't as bad as that little brat! I'm glad they haven't included Scrappy in the TV show. Way to go, JCBaggee. Almost nobody knows who Flim Flam is. He was in every episode of "13 Ghosts" but his was the only name not mentioned in the opening. It's weird being the only person I know who mentions Flim-Flam when naming the Scooby Doo cast. In the more recent animated movies, they've been hiring new voice actors to play the characters. However, I noticed that the new TV show is using the original voices for Shaggy, Fred, and (I think) Scooby.
JCBaggee
Oh, please. When I was little, I loved Flim Flam...come to think of it, I haven't watched 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo in a long time! Come to think of it....I haven't watched anything Scooby Doo since that movie! *runs to watch CN* --Chris
Omar Harris
I was a big Scooby Doo fan as a child. I knew who Flim Flam was, but got here too late. Thirteen Ghost put an interesting spin, especially with real demons. Zomba, for some reason, reminds me of the Cryptkeeper (Tales from The Crypt) whom I was horrified of as kid. lol. A pup named Scooby Doo was my favorite because of the absurd spin it deals. I've seen almost every Scooby cartoon (except What's New Scooby Doo?), Scooby Doo and the Ghoul School, Scooby Doo and the Boo Brothers (or something like that. I saw only half of it.) and Zombie Island and the Witches Ghost, parts of the Alien Invaders, and part of the Computer Virus movie. My biggest complaint about the new movies is the voice of Shaggy (no one compares to the great Casey Kasem except Matt Lilard.) The live movie was rather funny, and Matthew Lilard is Shaggy, no doubt. I didn't like Freddie Prinze Jr or Sarah Michelle Gellar's roles in the movie (I never like the "dumb jock" portrayal of Fred or the "airhead" adaptation of Daphne, as neither character was ever like that.) The ending was twisted, but funny none the less (am I the only Scrappy fan.) Oh and watch Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back for a hilarious cameo by the Scooby Doo gang. Trivia (I just had to do one for Manic/Endymion. ;) ): Who is Norville Rogers?
JCBaggee
Ooh, I know! But I'll let someone else take it. Hey, don't doubt me, though...
that's Shaggy's real name!
--Chris
Bandit Joeykuba
I like the show, especially Pup named Scooby Doo. I CANNOT, however, stand Scrappy! That's the reason why I liked the movie (real) so much! Trivia: What are Scooby and Scrappy's full names? (Hint: Scooby's is mentioned several times on the shows and scrappy's is at the end of the Scooby Doo movie)
Epitome
I LOVE SCOOBY DOO. It is one of my all time favorite shows. I wish that they would make more new ones like the old ones, if you get what Im saying.
Manic Webb
Darn. JC Baggee beat me to it. I'm just taking a guess, but are Scooby and Scrappy's full names
Scooby Dooby Doo and Scrappy Dappy Doo? If you want to count "A Pup Named..." then Scooby's full name is Scoobert.
The only characters who came out of the live-action movie with their characters in tact were Scooby and Shaggy. Fred was never a glory-hog (that was always Velma), Daphne was never an airhead (that was always Shaggy), and Velma was never depressed about being the geek of the group. In fact, Velma was a smug, yet friendly, smart-alec. She never crossed the border into becoming a jerk, but she had a smug comment for everything. She was actually kinda funny. And Sarah Michelle Gellar as Daphne... she Buffied that role to death.
