Homer: "Why did you think I took you to all those Police Academy movies?? For fun!? Well I didn't hear anyone laughing, did you?!?"

I think the stuff mentioned so far is awful, but it's all personal opinion heh. My two favorite comedy movies are Caddyshack and Office Space personally.

Well, Caddyshack is the funniest movie ever. That is a fact, not an opinion...there was a study done on it...::cough bs::...

Besides Caddyshack, Billy Madison is a great movie, so are Trading Places, and Coming to America...there are honestly too many good ones to list

I mean it this time. TN beats me to everything. He condemns threads before I can even read and close them, and he says Mel Brooks' movies are funny before I can even utter the words "Robin Hood: Men In Tights."

Anyway, the Airplane films are hilarious. For some reason, I never get tired of them. Gotta love the scene where the hysterical woman gets slapped by all of the passengers on the plane. Classic.

Most movies with Leslie Nielson are good. He's so funny because 90% of the characters he plays are dead serious about everything they do or say, no matter how wacky it is.

Smokey: You know what they say the older the berry the sweeter the juice
Creg: man it's the blacker the berry the sweeter the juice
Smokey:Well she blacker then a mother ****** too.

I laughed the whole time during 'Dodok Muko Motsara' (Can't Live with Thief). It's a Korean movie, and I didn't understand the jokes right away though. It's about this millionaire who steals unimportant things as a hobby, like remote controls and snacks. The father is kinda stupid, the mother can't taste, but she loves to cook, the girl loves H.O.T. (Korean Band), and the son looks up to his father.

It didn't sound very funny to me at first, but it is hilarious! I highly recommend it, and I'm pretty sure you can find it in subtitles...

Some of my favorite comedy movies are Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Austin Powers series, Adaptation, The Royal Tenenbaums, some Jim Carrey movies, Smith films, Spaceballs, and more. Adaptation is comedy/drama, but it was one of the funniest movies I saw last year and everyone should check it out. It comes to DVD this Tuesday!

I favor quite a lot of comedy movies. I can't choose which one I like the best.
The Naked Gun and Airplane movies were great, with their constant sight gags.
"Don't call me Shirley."

Monty Python and the Holy Grail was also funny as hell. I especially liked the fight with the black knight and the killer rabbit.
"Its just a flesh wound!"

Oh, and who could forget Mel Brook's western comedy, Blazing Saddles, it was pure comedy gold.
"I payed you to lay some track down, not dance around like a bunch of Kansas City *******!"

But thats just my opinion.:D
