RPG [[X2 X-men United Survivor]]

Ok, here is our clean slate. Our first attempt got hectic, and most people jumped around to conclusions. This one will be [U]organized and in order[/U], unless you want to be out of the RPG. Only one new change, and that is no color code. I am going to post the rules again.

1. Have to be one of the members who signed up in the recruitment thread. We are no longer accepting more people.

Jean Grey had short, brown hair. She was wearing a white blouse and a grey business coat and skirt. She stood behind the podium in which she had before in front of the senate. This time, as before, she was pleading the Senate not to pass the Mutant Registration Act(MRA).

Senator Marcus, a man in his late forties with tan skin and salt-and-pepper hair, sat where Senator Kelley previously had sat.

"And how do we know each and every mutant isn't out for world domination, Ms. Grey," he said.

"There is no possible way that we could," Jean replied, "for a homo sapien man or women could have the exact intentions. We do not----" Senator Marcus cut her off.

"But a human could not act upon it, Ms. Grey. A human has no telekinetic powers, no ability to shoot lasers from glowing eyes, no super-human strength. Mutants [I]do[/I], Ms. Grey. And that is why I urge this Senate to vote yes to this bill."

Jean sighed. She had seen this before, and knew it wasn't going to get much easier.

"This meeting is done," said a man, "we will meet again tomorrow at 9 in the morning. Have a good day."

Jean walked through the hall. She noticed people staring, people wondering if she would hurt them.

She shook her head as these thoughts were received. She stopped when four men and two women stood in front of her. These were Professor Xavier, Logan, Scott, Bobby, Storm, and Rogue.

A shadowed figure stood high up on the balcony overlooking the senate, arms crossed over his broad chest as he scanned the crowd, listening intently to Jean's argument to the senator. A small smirk crept upon his lips as he shook his head despairingly.

"I knew 'dis wasn't gonna go smoothly" The Cajun murmered to himself.

Sighing he straightened himself up from his leaning position against the far wall and approached the large glass window with a slow stride. His long brown coat swayed against his denim clad legs as he came to a halt in front of the window. Resting a gloved hand against the smooth glass he bowed his head, glowing red eyes hidden behind dark shades. The smirk spread across his face as he spotted the six mutants standing before jean.

"Well now, ain't dis an interestin' sight..non?" The question was more to himself than to others around him, but the odd glance was still spared his way for the man who was talking to himself in the corner.

He fingered the deck of cards stashed in his coat pocket thoughtfully. "Can't wait to see what happens next..."

Scott: When's the next meeting Jean?

Jean: 9:00 tommorrow in the morning.

Scott: Hopefully, this will end soon.

"No way, man," groaned Toad, casting a look towards Sabretooth. "You guys don't seem to understand the meaning of the word bored! Bo-r-ed! Y'know? Like, with nothing to do?"
Sabretooth's reply was to emit a low growl from his throat while continuing to glare at Toad.
"Wassup?" Mockingly, Toad flicked his tongue out towards Sabretooth, chortling quietly as he sucked his tongue back in again. "Am I grossing you out yet? Hmm?"
Again, Sabretooth growled, this time baring teeth in Toad's direction.
Toad gulped a little. "Okay, okay! Geez! Don' take it so personal, man..." He paused, absently flicking his tongue at another fly. "Where are all these freakin' flies coming from...?"
"Who cares?"
"Well... me for a start... pretty tasty!" Another pause, before Toad whined, "Aren't they done [i]yet[/i]??"
"WILL YOU SHUT UP?!"
"Oops... shutting up!"

Anyway, due to my lack of X Men knowledge (I have got rusty) and lack of time, I have to resign as Magneto.
