The falling sensation stopped once more as the white infinity was swallowed into the same glum room they always dropped through. Bleak walls, broken windows, a single table with a phone on it. The captain, Frost, walked upto the phone as it rang, just as always. He picked it up slowly, and placed it to his ear.

Frost: We're in...

GT: Okay captain, you've got about twenty minutes to get to the meeting point.

Frost: No problem.

Frost put the phone down, and turned to the rest of his group, who were all waiting eagerly. Slowly, yet confidently, he took a pair of sunglasses out of his pocket and put them over his eyes.

Frost: You know the situation. Since our sewer meeting place was found, we've had to pick a new one. So, we've chosen an abandoned bar not far from here called O'Neills. Problem is, the Agents seem to have targetted any place we might meet up, and so there are SWAT teams all over the place. So, here's how it's going to work. Each ship has been assigned to take out a particular SWAT team, which will buy us more time in the meeting before the Agents find out what's going on. Logically, since we're on of the bigger crews, we get stuck with the biggest area to cover. We cause a distraction, forcing them away from the meeting place, then we eliminate them. Anyone got a problem with that?

Everyone was silent, with occasional shaking of the head.

Frost: Good. Lets move then people.

Frost marched off towards the only door, Pyro following, then the rest of the group. Frost clicked open the door, wich lead down a small set of steps, into an alleyway. There were two ways to go, left, or right. The bar was to the right.

Frost: Blade, Priest... come with me. Pyro, lead the rest of them left to the park.

Pyro nodded, he knew what was waiting for them there. He walked quickly away, the more experienced members following him directly, the others more hesitantly. Frost reached up with his left hand, and grabbed the hilt of the katana on his back.

Priest: Where we going boss?

Frost: We're going to take out the snipers and roof patrols. We have to take out the snipers guarding the park before the group gets there.

Frost suddenly burst into a run towards the other side of the alleyway, towards a barricaded door. He leapt into the air, rocketing forward like a bullet, left leg extended. He hit the door head on, the force of impact allowing him to break straight through it. As GT had told him, they would be right next to a stair case leading to the rooves.

They got to the roof door with no problems. Frost opened it cautiosly and silently. He motioned for the other to stay. They were all there, covering the park from all angles. Every sniper had two guards, making a total of 15 men on the rooftops. Frost walked back in to the others.

Frost: There's five snipers, two guards each. That's fifteen men. I'll take out the two groups on the far side, you two cover the nearest three.

Blade: No problem.

Frost nodded and gave a hint of a grin, an almost brash grin, then he turned and went in full sprint towards the edge of the roof. One guard spotted him as he went and started shooting, but Frost moved to quickly. He reached the edge of the roof and pushed off into a leap, out over a busy New York street. Blade and Priest charge out towards the nearby sentries.

In mid-flight Frost was already drawing his katana. His jump would take him directly into one of the groups. The fun, was about to begin.

Clash followed Pyro to the end of the allyway, approaching them was the Park inwhich they were told to eliminate all of the opposition. Pyro and Clash stopped at the entrence, not letting any SWAT team members view them, they waited for the others. Once the others approached them, Pyro signaled them to heard left and take out the guards on that side and Pyro and Clash would take out the ones on the right.

Clash: Allright, you guys ready....

Pyro: Go!!

The teams spread out, as the guards quickly turned to them and began firing. Clash truned to his right towards a cement wall. He ran up the wall and pulled out his sword as he jumped behind the first guard, as he landed Clash stabbed the guard threw the stomach. The guard dropped the the floor and Clash did a backflip over the next guard, pulling out his first Mac10 in mid-air. As his feet touched the ground Clash fired a round of shots into the guards back, killing him instantly.

As GT sat wating at the consel he began to think about what he has furture wise. The crew of the ship was great but GT knew he probably would want to settle down with someone. Oh well. Now he was needed to help elminate the threat of the Matrix. GT watched the consel looking for the codes the Matrix would send out ready to contact the others the minute it start to send backup. Suddenly the Matrix started to sending so many signals GT couldn't keep up.
GT (to himself): It must relize that we have entered the Matrix and are starting to strike. It hasn't got the exact number of threats so it doensn't know whether to send out reinforements. I better keep watching and get ready to contact the others. There has got to be a way to speed up progress time because it will figure out thier location.
GT continues to watch waiting for even a slight change.

Bullets flew around Frost as he landed, striking the sniper through the back with his katana. Leaving his sword in the sniper, he leapt in a turning motion, and struck one of the guards in the side of the jaw with the clean side of his foot. He landed, turning to the other guard, who tried to strike him with his fist. Frost blocked, pulled his arm downwards, then, with Frost's free arm, he slammed into the guards elbow, bending his arm completely the wrong way. Then, with that same arm he delivered a swift shop the the front of the guards chest.

The first guard was back on his feet by now. Frost grabbed his sword upside down so he was holding it like a dagger. He spun, holding his sword out horizontally. As the guard got to one knee, he was decapitated. Frost then began moving to his next target, slamming his sword through the floored body of the second guard as he did so.

The gap between the other roof was not so big. Frost drew his Uzi's, and went into a straight, spinning dive over the gap, releasing bullet after bullet as he did so. As a bullet ripped through the snipers temple, he fell limply down as blood and brains squirted out the other side of his head. Two more bullets struck a guard in the hip and upper leg. He collapsed, unable to stand any longer. The last guard remained untouched as Frost landed.

Frost landed into a Judo roll, and straight after leaped upwards into a somersault, heading straight towards the remaining guard. He extended both feet, striking the guard hard in the chest, sending him twenty feet backwards, stright over the edge of the roof. Then, Frost approached the first guard, stamping hard on his neck, collapsing the guards windpipe as he begged for his life.

Frost picked up his phone, and rang GT. It didn't even ring once before he answered.

GT: Operator...

Frost: What's the situation?

GT: Fine so far capt'n. One group's made it to the meeting point, the others are busy dealing with their groups. No casualties so far. Wait...

Frost: What, what is it?

GT: I'm not sure... some symbols I've never seen before. Keep a look out capt'n.

Frost put his phone away, and jumped back over to the first roof to get his sword. Then, he grabbed the sniper rifle from the arms of the sniper's corpse, and moved to the roof edge. He began to give his crew covering fire.

Blade watched Frost kill the guards before he went anywhere. He smiled to himself.

Blade:*thinks* He's good...he's very good.

When Craig had taken out both groups of snipers and started giving the group covering fire, Blade sprinted away leaving Priest where he was. The nearest group to him was on the same building. He stooped at the corner of a wall and looked around. The sniper was on one knee at a small ledge on the roof, the two guards stood with their backs to him facing blade but they couldn't see him.

He spun out from the corner he was hiding behind and ran at full speed towards the guards who were by now reaching for their AK's. Blade ran in zigzag?s dodging every bullet and when he got ten metres from the guards leapt into the air into a somersault, pulled out two daggers in mid flight and jammed them into both guard?s heads. The sniper turned around firing madly in all directions in the hope of hitting blade. Blade spun to the side of the Sniper and gripped the barrel of the gun and pulled it up to smash the sniper in the face. The sniper dropped the gun and stumbled backwards, stunned. Blade walked slowly towards him and grabbed the hilt of his sword, slowly drew it and hurled it at the guard point first pinning the guard to the wall.

He heard a gunshot and then the ?whoosh? of a bullet passing his left ear. He turned around to see a second group from the same building.

Blade: Oh Crap! I forgot there were two groups on this building.

He ran forward and leapt onto the blade of his sword, which was still pinning the dead guard to the wall and used it as a spring board vaulting him high into the air. He landed down behind the group of three firstly landing foot first onto the sniper?s head, then gripping both the guards head?s before they could turnaround, and smashing them together. As both guards collapsed onto the front?s Blade flipped over and landed one foot on each of the guard?s lower back. He pulled out his eagles and ripped into the guard?s backs with them. He ran over and pulled his sword out of the wall.

Blade: I hope Priest is finding it this easy.

He picked up the Sniper rile and aided Frost in giving the other?s cover fire.

As the battle continued GT tried to figure out the strange symbols he saw earlier.
GT (once again out loud): What could they mean? They. Wait. They could track ships now so....
GT grabs phone and calls Frost
GT: Capt'n. I think the Matrix has a lock on one of the ships.
Frost: Which one?
GT I can't. I It's the
The cell phone that Frost was using suddenly fuzzed over.
GT Oh No. It was a lock on the phone.....

Okay, I'll just post the list of players here to remind me (and everybody) of who is who:

Captain: Frost (Yoda)
Mechanic: Blade (Gohan) , Priest (Outcast)
Pilot: Clash (Schrat) , Phoenix (Sage)
Gunner: Pyro (Quicksilver) , Doom (GunMetal)
Electrician: Kinetic (Braidless Baka)
Operator: GT (JJRiddler)

So, let's see where I am...
************

Doom was leading Phoenix and Kinetic in a dark ally. They had just eliminated two guards with moderate ease. Still, Phoenix felt adrenaline flooding to her blood. This was the most biggest mission she has ever been in. Sure, she had gone through all the needed training programs, but this was real!

But then she got to thinking: no, this is not real! This is the Matrix! As she knew the truth, she could exceed the limits of possible.

Kinetic: "Hey girl, focus! We aren't in a picnic here!"
Phoenix: "S-sorry... Wait! Did you hear that?"
Doom: "What is it?"

Slowly Phoenix looked up. Full moon was shining in the nightly sky, and she saw a figure against the pale circle, standing in the edge of the roof.

Phoenix: "Up there..."
Doom: "Sh**! We must keep quiet."
Kinetic: "No kidding..."
Doom: "This way, we must use these shadows to get the hell out of this mousetrap."

Voice: "Halt!"
Phoenix: "Oh sh**!"

A patrol had come to the end of the alley. Three men were pointing rifles at them. Phoenix thought that soon the guard on the roof would notice them. They were really trapped...

Doom: "Run!"

And they ran. The SWAP-team opened fire. Phoenix, being the fastest runner, took the lead. She experienced everything in slow-mo: rain of bullets passing her as she run, partly on the ground, partly on the wall, dodging and evating. From the corner of her eye she saw her mates doing the same. Suddenly there was a door ahead of them. Phoenix literally dived through it, followed by Kinetic and Doom.

Doom: "Get ready! GT, what's the situation?"
GT: "You have come to the back room of a department store. The SWAT team is just outside. And there is an agent approaching - fast. But we got bigger problems than that so I have to check back on you."
Kinetic: "Bigger porblems?! What can be a bigger porblem than us being slaughtered?!"
Doom: "Shut the f*** up and prepare to fight for your life, man!"

The three of them went deeper into the pitch-black room. Phoenix found a door which lead to inside the store. Moonlight shone from the big windows. A loud noise from the back told that the SWAT-team had entered the department store. The three of them went behind the shelves, holding their weapons in pose.

The door was slammed open, and an immense crossfire started. Two of the SWAT-team fell almost instantly, but the third managed to retreat.

Doom: "Let's go teach that guy what it means to harrass us!"
Voice: "There is no need to do that, human."

The owner of the voice stepped out from the back room. But it was near from the armored SWAT-team member. The figure was a woman in a black suit costume, blonde hair tied tightly to a bun. A female agent!

Agent: "Let me introduce myself: I am Agent Monroe, and you are really pissing me off."

Phoenix felt a lump forming to her throat. They were doomed.

Clash ran ahead out of the park after finishing off the SWAT team with Pyro. In the dark ally, Clash clinched the wall, making sure he stays out of the light, shining on the left side of the ally from a street light over head. He apporached an abandoned car and crouched down behind it, reloading the two mac10's he held in his hands. He put his sword back inside of his sheath as he heard Phenoix yelling, "Sh*t!", Clash jumped up from behind the car and saw Phenoix standing infront of a tall women, Doom and Kinetic standing behind him. Clash crouched down again and pulled out his cell phone, immediatly calling GT.

GT: Operator

Clash: What the hell is going on up there?

GT:Weve got an Agent...a female one.

Clash: Sh*t, Should I procede?

GT: Yes...

A gun shot was heard as Clash jumped up and saw The agent firing upon the rebels.

GT: NOW!

Clash jumped ontop of the car and began firing at the agent. He jumped into the air, flying towards the agent. She looked up and began shooting at Clash. Clash swung his legs around her neck and threw her into the wall. He then landed on the ground and all four rebels began firing on her as she lay on the ground.

Clash: RUN! Meet up with the others...NOW!

The others began running as Clash began running backwards and continued shooting the agent. He fliped backwards pushing off the wall and flying towards the agent, who was getting up and began flying towards clash. The meet in mid air and the agent pushed Clash down, as the both fell to the ground, the agent ontop of Clash...

Kinetic: Shouldn't we do something?! We can't just leave him!

Doom: What should we do, eh? Against an Agent?!

They didn't want to leave Clash... But there was nothing they could realistically do. So they took his advice and ran, praying and praying that he'd be able to get himself out of the situation.

Kinetic: C'mon! This isn't funny anymore, man!

Pheonix: You see me laughing?!

Kinetic: No, idiot but what do we do?!

Suddenly, before Kinetic got a response to his question, they were fired upon again, this time by a regular SWAT team.
Good, old fashioned bullets should be good for this one.

He wasn't watching what anyone else was doing anymore. He hated this part. Everyone moved so fast, the silence seemed shattering. Quickly he wheeled towards their attackers, his automatic spitting out bullets like some kind of frenzied tennis-ball machine. Some hit home, some didn't. He wasn't exactly the world's best shot.
Rat-a-tat-a-tat-a-tat
After what seemed like an eternity, someone grabbed at his shoulder, pulling backwards slightly with a jerk.

Doom: Hey! Quit it, they're wasted okay?!

Kinetic blinked. Wasted? As in... gone?

Pheonix: You don't do this very well do you?

Dutifully, Kinetic pulled the empty cartridge out of the gun and reloaded it. Of course he didn't... He never would... The idea of, bending the rules, he would never be comfortable with that.

Kinetic: Not really... but don't we have somewhere to be?

Doom: Yeah, this way!

offgame note: people please! It's PHOENIX, not Pheonix or Phenoix or anything else! P-H-O-E-N-I-X! Got it? Good. :smirk:
*****

Phoenix followed her team-mates out of the store, leaving Clash behind to fight the female agent. Phoenix knew he was a goner for doing that - for saving their asses - , and in her mind she promised to charice his memory forever.

But now she had to focus on the task in hands. The SWAT-teams and the agents musn't get to know their new hide-out's location, and Phoenix was doing her damnest to help that.

The three ran to a lighted street.
GT: "There is a SWAT team at the north-end of the street."
Doom: "Got it! That's where we're headed."

As they ran down the street they passed an old woman digging a carbage-can. Suddenly Phoenix sensed something wrong, and she looked back at the woman. The woman was placed by Agent Monroe.
Monroe: "You cannot escape from me, humans. It's best if you surrender now."
Phoenix: "Clash..."
Monroe: "Don't worry, Miss O'Brien, your friend is in our custody - as will you be soon."

Cold rage filled Phoenix's mind. She signaled Kinetic and Doom to make a run for it. Then she pulled her rapier from her belt. She had rehearsed with it hundreds of times in the training programs, but this was the first time she was using it for real.

Monroe: "Hmm... I love challenges. It's a duel then!"

Phoenix watched as a rapier-sword appeared in the agent's hand out of nowhere. Then she prepared herself in position.

Phoenix: "En garde, b*tch!"
******

offgame: Sorry, Schrat, for intervening in your duel, but I wanted to fight Monroe. Anyways, as you read, you are now held hostage by the agents, but I'm sure you'll find a way to escape. ;)

Clash opened his eyes to find himself lying in the corner of a square room with no doors or ways out. Clash stood up and shoke himself off, pulling his cell phone out of his pocket and putting it to his ear.

GT:Operator, What the hell were you thinking?!

Clash: I dont know, maybe I was trying to save three others! Now froget about it, what the Fu*k happpened to me?

GT: You were knocked unconcious, And then you disappeared

Clash:Well where am I now?

GT: You reapperaed in the middle of the city, on the top floor of the police training building. The room your in is surrounded by Agents, let alone the hundreds of Police officers in that building.

Clash: So how am I gunna get out?

GT: Im conntacting the others as we speak, their gunna need to set off a large explosion in the building next door, sending the agents and most of the police officers over there. Then they can get you out. On the bottom floor theres a phone that I can jack you out of the Matrix from.

Clash: Alright, Get them over here as fast as possible...

Can everyone please stop trying to control the storyline. We are going to a meeting, a meeting that contributes to future events in the storyline. But now that all has to be altered...
----------------------------------------------

Frost's phone rang again, and he dropped his sniper rifle, and answered the phone.

GT: Clash has been nabbed by an agent.

Frost: Well, where is he?

GT: He's in a Police Training Facility, on the top floor...

Frost: So what about the meeting?

GT: I dunno, it's your call capt'n.

Frost: Alright, tell Pyro he's in charge, send them all over to get Clash. I'll get to the meeting.

GT: Right you are capt'n. Phone me when you need an exit...

Frost turned his phone off, and scanned the rooftops, loooking for the best route. Deciding, he turned, and ran backwards, jumping off the edge of the roof, onto a fire escape across the road, he slid down the ladder, into a side-alleyway. There was a fence behind him, he turned, and ran towards the wall next to it. He pressed on foot on the wall, then another, then a final one before side-flipping over the fence in a near-ark. This was the only path he knew of that was not being watched, or so GT had said.

He walked around the corner now, and before him lay the entrance to the bar. He walked upto it, and knocked on the door. A small slot, just below Frost's eye level opened, and someone looked up at him.

???: Password?

Frost: Raven...

The slot in the door was closed, and then the door itself opened. Frost rushed quickly inside, and the door was shut behind him. He was lead down a set of steps, into a pool room. There were many people waiting there, the most noticable of which was Captain Niobe, who had taken a leading role since Morpheus' death.

Niobe: Nice of you to make it. Where's your crew?

Frost: They are indisposed. Lets get this moving along, shall we... I don't have all day.

offgame: Sorry, Yoda. :bluesweat I just thought that as this is a roleplaying-game, we might have something to say about the story as well... :smirk: Okay, don't take this seriously. Well, moving on...
******

She was sweating like a pig, she thought. The agent was really good, but she knew she had to be even better, if she wanted to survive.

Monroe: "Touché - again!"
Phoenix: "Well, you can just f*** your touchés! ARRH!"
Monroe: "Now, now, Miss O'Brien! Didn't anybody tell you that calmness is key to winning?"

Phoenix kept attacking, stinging, dodging and somersaulting as fast as she could. I must be out of my mind for trying to beat an agent! she thought. Well, at least the others are safe now...

Just then a rain of bullets hit the agent, making her to leave the body. Doom and Kinetic jumped from the roof, followed by Pyro, Priest and Blade.

Kinetic: "We thought you could use some help, girl."
Phoenix: "Oh... Well, I was doing alright..."
Doom: "Sure you were. But Frost has given us new orders. He has gone to the meeting by himself, and we should get our asses down to the Police Training Facility to save Clash."
Phoenix: "Ha! That's so typical for Frost! He goes off to play with the hotshots and leaves us to do the dirty work!"
Blade: "C'mon! At last we have some action! Those SWATs were no oppose to us!"
Phoenix: "Well, you didn't just duel with the lovely Agent Monroe, did you?"
Blade: "Bleh! Hey, GT, where's the nearest helicopter?"
