Dragon Warrior
I haven't made an RPG in a while, but what the heck. It's all good. This one in particular revolves around the musical magicians, the bards. If you're not familiar with them, they are just that. A musician. In this roleplay, they have a sort of magic to them. Story Long ago, the realm of Leukar was at peace with itself and none could disturb it. The high rulers were the guardians of Leukar and they were known as the Kyros. The Kyros were God-like; strength, power, speed, anything was in their possession. The Kyros kept guard over Leukar with the powers of the 8 Instruments. Each instrument had it's own particular power and then could cast magical spells if a song was played right on it. But like in any story, evil arose. It's dark purpose was to steal the instruments from the Kyros. It did. Eight mighty musicians that called themselves the Bard Lords took up the eight Instruments of the Kyros and used it against them. The Kyros were no more. They never knew how powerful the instruments were. Many tried to stopped the Bard Lords, but none succeeded. After decades of plotting, a plan was set and it went through. The lowest of the Bard Lords fell quickly. These Bard Lords used their last bits of energy to scatter the instruments to the winds. There were only 4 Bard Lords left whom slayed the remaining fighters. All of Leukar was lost once again... Alrighty, let's get this show on the road. Don't think I'm only gonna need 2 other people for this. 5 others will do nicely. I need 3 more Bards to take two of the instruments and then 2 warriors or whatever you wish to be. Your stats must consist of: Name: Type (Bard or Other): Age: Instrument/Weapon (depends on which type): BIO: My Stats Name:Ether Bluewater Type (Bard or Other): Bard Age: 18 Instrument/Weapon (depends on which type): Drums BIO: A normal musician, people find him wandering around the landscape in search of something. Most likely a place to remain for his life. But what he ends up finding besides companions are a pair of drum sticks that will change his life forever. NOTE: If you're a bard, you can choose any instrument you want as long as it's medieval-like (no electric guitars :p ) and as long as it's not taken already. I still need: 1 more people

The Harlequin
Name: Arithon s'Ffalen Type (Bard or Other): Bard Age: 27 Instrument/Weapon (depends on which type): Lyranthe (I'll explain later) BIO: Is somewhat of a loner, and the only places he really plays are remote taverns, normally in mountainous regions. Why he sticks to the mountains is probably a reason related to climate rather than any strange quest of his though. He plays a lyranthe simply because the alternatives bore him.
Doukeshi
Name: Corvus Darkraven Type (Bard or Other): Travelling Swordsman Age: 28 Instrument/Weapon (depends on which type): Long Sword and a flute (it isn't magical though) BIO: Corvus is a travelling swordsman who belonged to the bardclan Singingblade. He dodges the remaining 4 Bard Lords as best he can as he roams the wilderness.

erinzyger
Name: Pan Mouser Type (Bard or Other): Warrior Age:15 Instrument/Weapon (depends on which type): Bow and Arrows/Panpipes (not a weapon or magical but found none the less) BIO: Pan (no not the DBZ character/Greek diety) grew up in the meadows. Her father and mother were sheperds and she was to be one two. She didn't like the idea, but there wasn't much else available. That was until she ventured into the treetops, a place she was forbidden to go. There she found a golden bow with silver arrows and a set of panpipes. She was delighted with her new discovery and quickly taught herself to play and use the arrows. The music was wonderful and her archery was second to none. So, she decided to become a wanderer, going from town to town, playing her panpipes and entering archery tournaments for money. She is known among the people as the Archer Nymph. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Deedlit
Since all the bards are taken.... Name: Zelaisyan Airserke (How to say it: Zell* eye* see* ann Air* serr* kay) Type: Instead of a warrior, can I be a mage? :toothy: Age: 17 Weapon: dagger Bio: Zelaisyan was raised in a forest by her mother, a merchant, and father, a knight. Since her parents were gone most of the time, she grew bored easily until she acquired a spellbook her mother had purchased from a young wizard. Having nothing better to do, she soon began studying and deciphering the magical runes until she cast her first spell. After that she realized that she loved the Art and went to a school of sorcerry where her Master, Maurmor, taught her almost everything that she currently knows about magic. Now not only is she gifted in the Art of magic, she has also taken to wandering and she never stays in one place for too long. If I need to change anything, just let me know. Eclectic
Here's the info on the mandolin. I spelled it wrong. :P Mandolin, stringed instrument derived from the lute about 1700 in Italy. Of several kinds made in different cities, the Neapolitan mandolin became most popular. It has a deep, pear-shaped body and four pairs of steel strings tuned like a violin (G D A E, upward from the G below middle C). It is played with a plectrum, which creates the illusion of sustained tones by its rapid tremolo between the strings of each pair. The strings, hitched to a metal plate at the base of the body, run over a bridge and along the fretted fingerboard to machine-head tuning pegs. The belly angles down from the bridge to the base, increasing string tension for more brilliance of tone. The oval sound hole is surrounded by a protective shell plate.

The Harlequin
Lyrathne: Strung with fourteen strings, tuned to seven tones (doubled), Two courses are "drone strings" set to octaves. Five are melody strings, the lower three courses being octaves, the upper two, in unison. Basically a weird looking fourteen stringed instrument. ..Thanks to Janny Wurts for writing that book.
