Walking down the hallway I see your shadow standing.
I make my way towards the light, were you would be shining.
Up above my little drawer, I did grab the knife.
Over and over and over, I did not stop.

Inside these eyes, they now see nothing at all.
Inside of you, I still bare witness to nothing.
These dreams will come true.
Feelings I hid from no one but you.

Take this little towel, stained with your blood.
Listen to these words, I need not speak until tonight.
I saw your lighted soul, fly way up and high above me.
Your little bloodied face, I could no longer bare the sight.

I have to let go. I have to be free of you.
I have to let go. I want to get rid of you.
Somehow I know. In these eyes they bleed for you.
Somehow I know. This last dream will be the death of me.

Inside these eyes, they now see nothing at all.

Watching you gasp for air, I grab the knife and start to slash myself.
Taking all this time, I should've let go long ago.
Why did I lack, these feelings coming out so slow.
