[COLOR=green][FONT=arial]On the far away land of Osteth the people live in peace for the first time in 5,000 years...
This tale begins 5,000 years ago when 5 mages ruled the land.They ruled without mercy.If you stole your hands were chopped off without hesitation.You could never speak out against the mages or you would certainly be killed.The 5 mages kept the people of Osteth in check.But 10 people were tired of the cruel things the mages were doing.But what could they do to stop the mages?They were but mere peasants and had no skills in fighting.What they did have was one magician who could grant them the power they needed to confront the rulers of Osteth.The magician they needed to find was Buiraden.He lived far away in the Kakaran Mountains to the south of Osteth's capital city of Zaikhal.
These ten people traveled a long way to the Kakaran Mountain and climbed to the top.This journey took them 24 days to complete.On this journey they had to confront strong fiends that could crush any warrior in a second but they pulled through to get to this mountain.When they reached the top they met the magician that they thought could lead to Osteth's restoration.But when they reahced the mountain's peak they found only a snow capped peak.But by now they had become experienced in battle.They could now face the 5 rulers of Osteth.
They went back to Zaikhal to confront the mages in the battle that would determine Osteth's future.The ten warriors charged into battle without thought.They fought with all their heart and won this epic battle.But during the battle nine of the warriors were killed.The last one left became king of Osteth and ruled with a kind and pure heart and the land was at peace for once in 5,000 years.Yet the mages were not kiled they were but away in a crystalline prison underground in a land that is known to none.
Now 5,000 years later the evils that plagued Osteth years ago are back.The last of the original warriors is dead and the mages are back and have broken out of their prison.Their powers are not fully back but they are stronger than any warrior or magician.Now new warriors must stand up to once and for all destroy the mages.

This thing sucks but i'll try to get this thing up and running with a better plot.To sign up post these things:

Bio: Malli was a peaceful child. But until she discovered what she could do. Her village didn't achualy mind. Even though she dosen't act her age she follows strict rules. But when not under eye she is having fun.

[b]Bio:[/b] When the Mages broke back out of their prisons, Ryan was finnaly able to come out of hiding. For his entire life he devoted every waking moment to the worship of these 'gods'. Un-numbered tributes, blood sacrifices, and self mutilation were only some of the ways Ryan payed homage to his masters. Now that they are out, this world will fall.

[B]Bio[/B]: he has spent most of his life practicing the art of spell manipulation(counterspells,redirection, etc...) as result he can use maipulate spells more effectivy than most people he wants to improve his skills and he thinks that by defeating the recently freed mages or defeating their emies he can do so.

Bio: A member of the order of the Twisted Ether, a rather esoteric and somewhat untrustworthy group at the best of times. They are mainly concerned with maintaining the auric flow of the earth's energy. It turns out they aren't happy with certain mages...

Bio: Not much is known about Valkyrie, even by herself. She is the sole survivor of a fire that claimed the lives of her closest relatives. Now, she travels, hoping that one day she will find the people responsible. Recently, she has been hiring herself out as an assassin.

Appearance: short spikey hair tied into various stubs of varing colours with red predominating, deathly pale skin and shocking blue lips. wears black leather top and matching shorts and competely black sunglasses.

Bio: Shadow's past is unknown, even to herself. She was blinded at a young age by a wandering group and was forced to learn how to live her life in darkness. One day she strayed away from her village and ended up at a strange building in which a cult acted. At first they threatened to show her the stuff of nightmares but she indercated that she was blind and therefore would not see anything that they could produce. They took her in and taught her to use her other senses in order to fight, hearing, smell and mind powers in particular. She became well known throughout the cult and was often hired as an assassin or guard because no one would suspect the blind woman sitting alone. Now she has been informed of the rising of the mages and is ready to pledge herself to them as the cult was part of their following

Appearance: Short, feathered blonde hair and indigo eyes. She wears small purple tinted glasses on her nose, a black turtleneck shirt with baggy sleeves, short purple shorts, socks that come up to mid thigh, and heavy tan boots.
Bio: She's always wanted to go on an adventure ever since she played with the boys in her village. She never really played with any of the girls and as a consequence, built up many psychological male characteristics. When she turned 16, her father told her to go and roam around the countryside to look for her own destiny. Upon returning for a short vacation, she found her village destroyed. She thought everyone was dead, but in her house on her bed, her mother had hastily scrawled the word "Hope" on a scrap of paper. Now Aziza isn't looking for adventure, but looking to find what happened to her family and to make the perpetrators pay.

Appearance: Kain has a medium build.He has jet black hair that is in a pony tail.Kain has light brown eyes and his skin is like a carmel color.Kain wears a red robe trimmed in black that covers his whole body except his hands.On his hands he wears gauntlets.Under his robe Kain has on a black tunic and a black pair of pants.

Bio: Kain is the descendant of the last of the 10 warriors who fought the 5 mages many years ago.He posses many of the same traits as the king did.He is a brilliant swordsman and is a natural born leader.Kain has been prepared for the day the mages broke out of their prison since the day he was able to lift a sword.But when the mages reached his small village outside of Al-Jalima they slaughtered everyone.Kain barely survived.Kain now hunts the mages down and is recruiting warriors to fight against the mages once again

Bio: After murduring his parents at the age of 14, Jim has been wandering aimlessly trying to find a place to settle and start again. Throughout those 3 years, he has become quite skilled in the ways of magic, but has also practiced the art of swordsmanship.
