[B]Chapter 5: Brother Vs Brother[/B]

Tydan walked through the entrance gate to Viridian City."Never been here
before"he said to himself.He looked around, and saw a Pokemon Centre,
Pokemon Mart, and about 5 houses lined up against a back fence.He needed to
heal his pokemon, so he headed towards the Pokemon Centre.

"Reason..you..are..entering?"squeaked a speaker in the wall.
"Errrr, I need to heal my pokemon"said Tydan.He didn't know that all the
Pokemon Centres in Kanto had these speakers."Please..enter"squeaked the
speaker again.Tydan slowly walked to the camera operated doors.The camera
above the door flashed a red light, and the doors opened.Tydan walked to the
counter inside.

"Hi.How may I help you?"asked the lady behind the counter.
"Um, can I please heal my pokemon"Tydan said politely.
"Yes you can.Please hand over your pokemon"the lady said.
Tydan handed over three pokemon, and the lady took them over to a big
machine.She put the pokemon onto a large platform.She pressed a button, and
the platform slowly went around the machine.Then the lady pressed another
button, and the three pokeballs were zapped.After that, the lady picked them up,
and gave them back to Tydan."Um, how much does it cost?"asked Tydan.
"Oh, it doesn't cost anything, it's free!"said the lady.
"Really"said Tydan.
"Yes, it is"the lady said.
"Cool!"Tydan said.He thanked the lady, and walked out of the Pokemon Centre.

"Right, now what do I need to do"he thought."That's it.I need to buy some
things"he said to himself.He started walkind towards the Pokemon Mart, when
someone called out to him."Hey, Tydan, what a'ya doin' "the voice said.Tydan
looked around, and saw his brother, Ryan."Great, this is all I need"Tydan said
aloud so Ryan could hear."What?"Ryan said.
"Nothin'.What did ya call me for?"Tydan asked.
"Not much.I wanted to ask ya somethin' "Ryan said.
"What then"Tydan said.
"HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET UP SO EARLY!!!!"Ryan yelled in Tydan's ear.
"Holy crap, you didn't have to yell ya know!"Tydan said loudly.
"Well?!"Ryan said loadly back.
"I set my alarm clock"Tydan said.
"So did I, but mine didn't go off"Ryan said angrily.
"So, what do ya want me to do about it?Tydan said.
"Well, you can't do nothin' now, but I want somthin' "Ryan said.
"What.....?"Tydan asked.
"A battle!"Ryan said in Tydan's ear, but not nearly as loud as last time.
"And what happens if I don't want a battle?"Tydan asked.
"Well too bad, I do, and that's what it's gonna be!"Ryan said loudly.
"MMWWAAHHAHAHAHAHA!YOU DON'T STAND A
CHANCE....................................................................what pokemon have ya got?"Tydan asked after an outburst of laughter.
".......Hey, don't laugh at me, mate!I've got a Pichu, and a Metapod!"Ryan said
with power.
"Ha........haha..............hahaha....hahahahahahaha!"Tydan laughed at his older brother."Well, guess what, you're gonna lose!Tydan yelled.

A storm roared over head as they went into battle.

[B]Chapter 6: A Turn Around[/B]

"Metapod, go!"yelled Ryan.
"Go, Ghastly!"yelled Tydan.
"Quick, Metapod, use string shot!"Ryan told Metapod.Metapod shot a line of
string at Ghastly, but it didn't affect Ghastly.
"What?!"yelled Ryan.Tydan could see that Ryan was going to be unfair.
"Ha!Ghastly, use shadow ball!"Tydan yelled.Ghastly powered a shabow ball at
Metapod, and hit hard.A critical hit!Metapod fainted.

"No.....how could it be?!"Ryan shouted.
"Yeah!"Tydan yelled at his brother.
"Now you're dead, Tydan!"Ryan said to Tydan just so he could barely hear it.
"Pichu, go!"Ryan yelled.
"Quick, here!"Ryan said to Pichu.Pichu went over to him, and Ryan gave him
something.
"Right, use thunder shock!"Ryan yelled.Pichu jumped up and thunder shocked
Ghastly.Somehow, it hit Ghastly hard enough, and made him faint.
"Hey, not fair!You gave Pichu somethin'.What is it?"Tydan asked loudly.
"For me to know, and you not to know!"Ryan said at the top of his voice.
"You unfair low-life........!"Tydan was about to finish his sentence when Ryan
butted in.
"Don't say it, just don't say it!"Ryan said.
"You're in for it, mate!"Tydan shouted.
"Quick, Yanma, go!"yelled Tydan.
"Now, Pichu, use thunder shock again!"Ryan demanded.Pichu used thunder
shock again, and made Yanma faint.
"What the hell!!!!"Tydan shouted.
"Diglett, you're my last chance, go!".Tydan sent out Diglett.It now had started to rain.Lightning flashed, and thunder roared.
"Diglett, use rock throw, now!"Tydan yelled.Diglett dropped a bunch of heavy rocks on Pichu.Pichu was hit, and was now on low health.
"Quick, Pichu, use thunder shock!"Ryan yelled.Pichu thunder shocked
Diglett.Diglett fainted, but how?Electric moves don't affect ground or rock type
pokemon.
"How the heck did that happen?!"Tydan shouted at Ryan.
"Yes, yes, yes, yes!I won, I won!"Ryan shouted.
"Yeah, but you cheated somehow!"Tydan shouted.
"No I didn't!You just lost"Ryan shouted back.
"Bull crap!You cheated!"shouted Tydan.
"No I didn't!"Ryan shouted again.
"Now hand over the money!"Ryan said.Tydan had no choice but to give him his
prize.An unfairly won prize.Tydan could just watch as Ryan walked off with the
money.But he saw something.It fell out of Ryan pocket.A remote control or
something.Tydan went over to look.

Tydan picked up the control.It had sparks flying out of it from the rain, and was
no good for use anymore.Tydan quickly put it down.He bent over and had a
close look at it.It had a label on it that said"Move Energizer.Use only for
powering up."in red letters.Tydan knew what it was.It was a control that made
the moves that pokemon use boost up to maximum power.He had seen how it
works on television.Now he knew how Ryan had won."That cheater!"Tydan
shouted to himself.

Tydan would get his brother back, and when he least expected it.But for now,
Tydan had to go and heal all his pokemon.

cool story, but there's a mistake. it says that electric attacks don't affect Ground and Rock Type Pokemon. electric attacks do affect Rock Types. again, cool story!

[B]Chapter 7: A New Friend[/B]

Tydan walked up to the speaker in the wall of the Pokemon Centre again.He
said after the squeaky voice"I need to heal my pokemon".After the squeaky
voice said he could go through, he walked to the camera operated door.The
light flashed red, and the door opened.Then he went through to the counter.

"Hi, how ma............haven't I seen you here before?"asked the lady.
"Errrrr, yeah, I think so"Tydan said.
"Well then, what can I do for you?"the lady asked.
"Um, can you please heal my pokemon again?"Tydan asked the lady.
"No, .........just joking.Of course you can.Pass them here"the lady said
laughing.Tydan passed all his fainted pokemon in their pokeballs to the lady.She
went over and healed them just like she did last time.

Tydan came out of the Pokemon Centre.He looked around.All he saw was dead
grass, sticky heat waves slowly rising off the ground, and a road that went
around behind the Pokemon Centre.He decided to follow the road around
behind the Pokemon Centre.He walked along the road, and around the
building.He slowly walked along the road behind the building, and through a
gate that went onto another road.He walked up to a sign beside the road, and
read it.It said"Viridian Forest, straight ahead, Pewter City, through Viridian
Forest."in big white letters.He decided to walk to Viridian Forest, and see what
he could find.

He walked up the road, and met a man.The man had called out to him, and
said"Yo, mate, I just had a double shot of coffee, and I'm wired.I need someone
to talk to, so you'll have to do".
".....Ok.a....y.."Tydan said as he didn't understand a word the man said.
"I might not look like much now, but when I was your age, I was a complete hot
shot.Do you believe me?"said the man.
"...E..rrr...r..r, ....yea...h.."said Tydan, still not understanding.
"Ahhhh, yes, yes, I was something out of the ordinary, I can tell you"the man
said, thinking he was really good.The man finally let Tydan go.

"Well, what was that all about?"Tydan asked himself.He walked up to a fence
which had a sign saying"Viridian Forest, 1.5 km ahead"in big white letters,
almost the same as the other sign back down the road.He walked through the
gate a gate in the fence and started walking towards a big forest he could see
just up the road.

"Hey, what ya up too?"yelled a voice from a far distance ahead of him.Tydan
strained his eyes to try and see who it was, but couldn't quite see."Not
much"Tydan yelled back.Tydan still didn't know who it was.
"Well, neither am I"the shadowy figure yelled back.
"What's this guy on about"Tydan thought to himself.The shadowy figure came
closer, and emerged from being a shadow to being a normal kid.
"Where ya goin' "the kid said.
"Well, I'm on my way to Viridian Forest"Tydan said.
"Oh, I was too, but I lost my gold nugget when my Nidoran jumped out of its
pokeball and took it.He hid it somewhere, and now I can't find.My Nidoran came
back without it.So now I've come back to look for it.It's was worth about
£1000"the kid said.
"Um, did it look like this?"Tydan asked.He got the golden lump he found tied to
the fence on the road from Pallet Town to Viridian City out of his backpack.
"Ahhhh, that's the one"the kid said happily.Tydan gave it to the kid.
"Thanks"said the kid.
"I thought it was worth a fair bit"Tydan said.
"Well, I better get back to my journey"said the kid.
"Yeah, I better too.I just started today"Tydan said.
"Really, so did I"the kid said.
"Cool.Maybe we should become mates, you know, go around Kanto as
friends"Tydan said.
"Yeah, righto, how about we do?"asked the kid.
"Fine with me.Lets make it a yes"Tydan said.
"But before we go, what's your name?"Tydan asked.
"Oh, my name's Brad"said the kid.
"Mine's Tydan"said Tydan.
"I think we better get goin' then Tydan"said Brad.They started walking towards
Viridian forest.

[B]Chapter 8: The Secret Of Viridian Forest[/B]

Tydan and Brad got to Viridian Forest.They walked up the road that went
through an old rusted gate and into the forest.They kept walking along the
road.Then they came across track that went in another direction."Hey, why don't
we come this way?"Brad said.Tydan looked up the track Brad was pointing
to"What for?"Tydan said.
"I dunno, just see what there is around here"Brad answered.
"Yeah, okay"Tydan said.They walked up the track.

"Hey, over here"Brad said.He was pointing to the entrace of a dark cave.They
walked up to the cave entrance."Have ya got a flashlight?"Brad asked.Tydan
got a small flashlight out of his backpack.Tydan gave it to Brad.
"Want to see what's in here.I think I can see a shiny crystal rock in the wall just
in there.Can you see it?"Brad said.
"Yeah, I think so"Tydan answered.
"I dunno about you, but I'm gonna see what it is"Brad said.Brad turned on the
flashlight, and went into the dark cave.Tydan was about to say something, but
he didn't.He decided to follow Brad.

"Wow, what is this place?"Tydan asked in amazement.
"You tell me, we'll both know"Brad said.Shiny crystal rocks jaggered out of the
ground and walls.There were way more crystal rocks sticking out of the walls
and ground then the two boys even thought there would be.They only wanted to
get that one crystal rock sticking out of the cave wall near the entrance.But
when they went in, more and more crystals appeared to be in the cave.They
couldn't help themselves from having a look.

"Lets get a few, and sell 'em"Brad said, with his voice echoing around the whole
cave.Brad reached for a large crystal when a wild Sandslash attacked.Tydan
didn't want to battle, but he had to.If he wanted to save his friend, he would
have to battle.The Sandslash was slowly prowling closer to Brad.

"Go, Ghastly!"Tydan yelled.Ghastly was released out of the pokeball, but it was
so dark, nobody could see him.Not even Sandslash.Tydan wanted to point his
pokedex at Sandslash, but he couldn't, as he couldn't see Sandslash, and he
had dropped his flashlight.

"Use faint attack!"ordered Tydan.Ghastly faint attacked Sandslash, and
hit.Sandslash attacked furiously, but was doing nothing.He was attacking thin
air, as he couldn't see Ghastly.
"Ghastly, quick, use shadow ball!"yelled Tydan.Ghastly hit Sanslash with a
shadow ball, and hit again.Sandlash stopped attacking thin air, and quickluy dug
a hole underground.Sandslash was gone.

"Hey man, I owe ya one"Brad said."Thanks for helpin' me get out of that
trouble".
"No problem, just don't try and take somethin' that you're not sure of next time,
okay"Tydan said.
"Yep"Brad said.They walked away from the cave, and started walking along the
road out of Viridian Forest.

But their adventure wasn't done in Viridian Forest yet.

that is an awesome story. hey in celadon city, erica's gyms area, could Tydan capture a Houndour? (They are there, i caught one myself) Then it evolves into Houndoom, awesome pokemon:love:

[B]Chapter 9: Surprise Surprise[/B]

Tydan and Brad kept walking up the road.Not until long did they relise there was
a group of motorbikes blocking the road up ahead."What's this?"Tydan asked.
"How am I supposed to know"Brad said back.They continued to walk up the
road until they got closer."Looks like the owners of these bikes are all in that
pub"Brad said.He pointed to a pub on the side of the road.It was old and torn
down.It was a wonder it was still open.

Brad and Tydan walked up to the cracked window in the pub.They looked
through it to see a group of kids wearing leather jackets standing around in a
circle."I don't think this pub is running anymore.If it was, those kids wouldn't be
in there"Tydan said.
"I think it's there hideout or somethin' "Brad said.
"I dunno"Tydan said.Then suddenly Tydan was pushed into the window by
someone.And it wasn't Brad.

"What do ya think ya doin' , @$$hole!"Tydan yelled as he turned around.He
thought he would be saying it to another one of those kids, but he
wasn't.Instead, he was facing a big Raichu!

"Holy sh!t!"Tydan shouted.He stumbled back into the window."Geez, what is
that thing!"Brad said as he turned around.
"Errrrrr....errrr....errrrrrrrrr.......D@MN, IF I COULD GET THIS BL##DY THING
OUT, I'D KNOW!!!!"Tydan yelled as loud as he could as he fumbled for his
pokedex."Got it!"Tydan yelled as he grabbed the pokedex out of his
pocket."Now, what is this d@mn pokemon?!"Tydan shouted.He pointed the
pokedex to the pokemon, and it said"Raichu, an electric pokemon.Raichu loves
to eat berries by roasting them with its electricity".Tydan folded up his pokedex
and put it back in his pocket, shaking."Well, well, well, lookie here"Brad said.
"If that's a Raichu, well I'm the Empire State Building!".

The Raichu was huge.And if it was huge, that meant that it would more electricy
than a normal Raichu.And Tydan had already caused trouble with it by calling it
an @$$hole! "Errr....Brad, I think we better RUN!!"Tydan yelled.They started
running up the road, but the Raichu followed.

"Umm.....It's sort of like....FOLLOWING US!!"Brad said as they ran.Tydan
looked around, and saw that the Raichu was following."I dunno about you, but
I'm gonna pinch one of those bikes!"Tydan said.Tydan ran around the old pub,
with Brad following.They ran around the pub, and back to where they met the
Raichu.They ran over to the line of bikes, started them up, and took off like a
bolt of lightning.

They eventually got away from the Raichu, but they were never going to forget
it.

[B]Chapter 10: Pewter City[/B]

"hhhhhh.......hhhhhh....."Tydan and Brad breathed in deeply.They were
exhausted after being chased by that big Raichu.And now they're being tracked
down by a group of kids after Tydan and Brad stole their motorbikes.Anyway,
apart from that, they were on their way to Pewter City.And they were nearly
there.

"Hello, 'ow are you doing?"an old man said from behind them.
"Ah!"Tydan jumped, thinking it was the Raichu again.
"Hey, it's only me, an old man"the old man said.
"Oh, right, yes sir, what do you want?"Tydan asked.
"Oh, not much, I was just going to ask if you had seen my Raichu?"asked the
old man.
"You....mean, ....a..big....giant..Raichu?"Tydan asked, starting to shake.
"Yes, why?He's a big Raichu, a bit bigger than a normal Raichu"the old man
asked.
"A BIT!Did you just say he was a BIT bigger than a normal Raichu?You gotta be
jokin'.That bl##dy Raichu is ten times bigger than a normal Raichu!"Tydan said.
"Well, I don't know about ten times bigger, mabey 9 times bigger.But that isn't
too big"the old man said laughing.
"Ummmm, ye....yeah, ...I seen hi.....him, dow...down that way".Tydan said,
shaking again.Tydan pointed down the road.
"Oh, really, thanks you boys, I miss him so much".The old man started walking
down the road.
"Oh man, I can't believe the day day we're having"Tydan said to Brad.

Tydan and Brad walked down the road to the gate.They saw a sign
saying"Welcome to Pewter City".They walked through the gate.They walked up
to a fence that went around a garden.They looked over the fence and saw
someone walking around in the garden spreading somw sort of powder."What's
he doing"Tydan asked Brad.
"I think he's putting some repell on his garden to keep out pokemon"Brad
answered.
"Ohhh, okay, .......what's repell?"Tydan asked.
"It's stuff that keeps pokemon away"Brad said.
"Ohhh, cool"Tydan said.They left the garden fence and walked around.

Tydan walked up to the window in the Pewter City Museum.He looked through
and saw two fossils of an Aerodactyl and an Ominyte.They were inside a glass
box."Cool"Tydan said.Brad went and had a look too.

"Don't you think it's time you went and had a battle against the Gym Leader
Brock?"Brad asked Tydan.
"Why, have you battled him?"Tydan said.
"Yeah, and I beat him"Brad said.
"Did ya, well guess what, I will too"Tydan said.They both started walking
towards the Gym building.

hows about someone givin' me an idea on what pokemon Tydan should carch next.I'm thinkin' it should be a Ekans, but i'm not sure.

what do yous people think.

He'll catch it in grass, and i want it to be special pokemon.
like a silver ryhorn, or a golden arhcanine.
somethin like that.

After tydan beats Brock, he'll go to a pokemon carnival outside Mt. Moon. there he will catch an evee ina catching contest, a bit like the bug catching contest in g/s.then i gotta figure out how it will evolve?
