Well I hope that this thread stays here, but as I was watching Yu-Gi-Oh on tv i've noticed that there are some errors like, when Insect Queen was suppose to be eating cockaroach knight but it showed Insect Queen eating Legul or when Joey was dueling Bones and joey's life points went down then went up. I want to see if anyone else has noticed some serious mistakes in the show.

Well, I am not too sure if I am thinking the same 'errors' that you are thinking. . but in my opinion, there are a ton of them out there.

Especially early in the series, they love to put new or different meanings for the card. I could list quite a few, but there really isn't a point to it, I am sure everyone knows what I am talking about.

An example of what I am talking about would be when Bandit Keith (controlled by Marik) was dueling Yugi - He used Solemn Judgement to reverse a spell back at Yugi? (something like that). .

There is usually a few mess ups like this in every show. It's just there to add to the drama of each duel. I mean, some of these duels last two or three episodes. It's how they sell the show. They leave you hanging, and wondering what is going to happen next.

Crimson - the type of errors you are talking about, I have seen a couple, and like Agatio stated, the animators can't catch everything. . Sometimes they have to re-use footage that they have, so that they don't have to waste more money for more of it. It's pretty common with animated series (points to G.I. Joe). *shrug* Oh well, just my thoughts =)

I recently noticed a few...

In Champion vs. creator pt 1, Pegasus shows 'Prophecy' as a trap, but it was colored as magic. (green)

Also in the same ep, the first time Saggi the dark clown was summoned, I'm sure his atk points were 900. Later they were 600.

Thanks for that clear up Noryko, also I ment for mistakes such ANY mistakes...like when Kaiba was going against the dueling machine, and then when Kaiba summoned Obelisk and sacraficed two monsters, and then it supposedly brought up Obelisks power up because he destroyed Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon with one punch while we thought his Obelisk's attack was still 4000 and Ultimate Dragons was still 4500.

NorykoAngelcry - Solemn Judgement removes the last card your opponent played. Yugi had activated Mirror Force to reflect Zera's attack back at Keith, but because the Solemn Judgement removed Mirror Force, the attack became normal again and hit Yugi.

Crimson - Obelisk's effect allows him to destroy all the monsters on the field and deal 4000 damage to your opponent by sacrificing 2 monsters. It was Obelisk's effect that destroyed BEUD.

Solemn Judgement negates the action of the trap, but Bandit Keith said it reflected the attack back at Yugi, so the effect was right, it was just explained wrong. In the same way that Joey explained that Gearfried couldn't be infected by Weevil's Parasite Paracide card because he was metal, and that the Mystical Elf always seems to have these magical abilities that she can't actually do on her own, heh (i.e. not without a Gift of the Mystical Elf' card').

So there are terminology errors too. Another example is when Joey's Flame Swordsman attacked Kaiba's Rabid Horseman and was destroyed not because the ATK of Flame Swordsman was lower, but because Rabid Horseman was resistant to fire monsters... egh.

Ok....somemore.

While watching Champion vs. Creator pt2.

The Toon Dragon streching out of the way was weird.
And when Pegasus played Dragon Capture Jar, a trap, I'm sure it had atk and def points. And where is god's name did the Bikuribox come from???

The card says "No matter what the situation, neither player is allowed to offer a monster as Tribute."

Jam Breeding Machine doesn't say anything about the Slime Tokens not being used as Tributes- you just can't summon or special summon any other monster to the field while that card is in play. Hence, Strings removed it just before summoning Slifer.

It's only a 1000 Life-Point cost for Revival Jam, too. But either way, Strings probably would have lost first.

I don't know if anybody else noticed this but the cards in the show and the cards we play with are totally diffirent. Mai didn't have to sac monsters to keep her mirror force in play, Pumpking the king of Ghosts has no ability like the one that Bones used. Most of the cards are better in the show, also in the duel of the millenium, in one scene it showed the Celtic gaurdian when it had been destroyed like a turn or two before that. Also Toon World isn't nearly as powerful in real life as it is in the show, (trust me I run a deck I call Tomb World.) Anyway the cards as they read for us should not be used to decide errors in the show, what the cards say in the show should be used.

Things I've noticed:

*Bikouribox, Flame Swordsman, Barox and Giltia the Dragon Knight are fusion monsters being played as regular monsters

*Swordstalker doesn't have the special ability demonstrated in Yugi & Kiaba's second duel

*Kaiba's Ryu-Kashin is actually Ryu-Kashin Powered.

*The Masked Beast *could not* have been summoned, as anyone who's played "Worldwide Edition" can validate.

*Valkiryon couldn't have been affected by De-Fusion

*Soul Exchange can only steal one monster

*Joey, who spent all of Duelist Kingdom fighting for his sister, should have thrown the Battle City duel to Mako Tsunami, because he was dueling for his father.

Well the whole thing about Lumnis and Umbra playing Mask of Restrict and then Masked Beast. Well that was just a total screw up. They changed Mask of Restrict so that it only effects The oppopnents field. I hope that clears that little error up.

I though that that was pretty clear but here goes another version.
They are using the same cards as we are as far as the name goes. A perfect example is the Swordstalker, in the show it has that ability, in our world, it doesn't. Mia's mirror force stays in play, and correct me if I'm wrong but we have to offer a monster up as tribute during each standby phase or it is destroyed, also Mia's Shadow of Eyes is a permanent trap, it's just a regular trap for us. Anyway they are using cards that have the same name as ours, but not the same effects.

Actually it's called Mirror Wall and you have to sacrafice 2000 life points not monsters...but you do have a point of how the effects of the cards differ from ours...

I know, I'm sorry. But that's one of my pet peeves. (Seriously, doesn't that fly in the face of *everything* we know about Joey?)

BTW, I found out that the CCG did not exist until the Battle City arc began, which is why there were so many errors in trhe Duelist Kingdom arc. C'est la vie.

*The Living Arrow card is totally inconsistant in what it does. (Im' still not sure what it does)

*The Castle of Dark Illusions powers up *zombies*, not Fiends. And gravity harness?

*Joey's Flame Swordsman should have beaten the Battle Ox when he and Kaiba dueled.

*Magical Hats is a trap card, not a magic card.

*What the heck is up with the way Yugi almost beat the Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon? There are so many errors in there....
