Epitome
Ok, Ive seen people post banners and avatars but have the name of the banner/avatar instead of the link or whatever. How do you do that.
juna
The only way I know how to change a Avatar is: [i]Profile -> Edit Options -> Change Avatar -> at bottom: upload from comp -> browse to file -> hit open -> Submit Modifications.[/i] The banner through the [i]Sig file[/i] in Edit Options. If this isn't helpful ~ sorry. ^_^ Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, it prolly wasn't helpful at all. A good rule of thumb though is that, if you didn't have to spell out the whole URL of where the file is; you would have had to upload the image (or whatever it is) to the source server, being this site. ^_^
Epitome
No, Im asking how to chane the name of the link, not change the avatar or banner.
Kei
[color=royalblue]*scratches head* Um.... That's worded kind of weird, but if you're referring to changing the name of an attachment, I can help there. All you have to change the file name of the thing you're uploading. Just right-click the file, hit Rename, and change it to whatever you want it be, then upload it. If you're talking about just regualr old links, type this: [ url= *enter URL here* ] *text here* [ /url ] Just make sure you take out the spaces. I hope this is what you were asking.[/color]
Sara
[size=1]You mean like this? [url=http://www.otakuboards.com/attachment.php?s=&postid=396075]Agatio banner[/url] Use the url tags [url =http://www.dictionary.com][color=red]Link text![/color][ /url] The address goes in the first tag, and whatever you want to link to the page--text, images,[url=www.dictionary.com]smileys :toothy:[/url] goes between the [url=] and [ /url].[/size]
