darkenshadow
Okay I was thinking and wondering if you guys noticed that some booster packs have little differences on the package. I am sorry if this had been mentioned before. I am sort of able to pick "holo" packs because of those differences. The difference can be anything to a dot to a slash. Have you ever compared packs before?
Shinryuu(GP)
I have three methods: 1. Weigh it in my hand, 2. Check the perforations/indents, 3. Dumb luck. Never noticed any dots or slashes before.
Bandit Joeykuba
A way that I check is by "measuring." If you notice the rarer cards are actually slightly larger than the others. But not by much.
Solo Tremaine
I've never managed to understand this much. I tried weighing them but I can never tell the difference- sometimes Super/Ultra rares are lighter, sometimes heavier. I know the Dark Magician in the Yugi Starter deck is a lot heavier than the others, but as far as I know not many of the others are. With the European Legend of Blue Eyes set at least, the Ultra and Super rares seem to be lighter, but with any other pack I can't see much of a difference. Personally (maybe it's just an excuse) I like a bit of dumb luck, even if you do get something a little disappointing (like your fifth Lightforce Sword >_<; ). Although it might be handy to know for sure what works. Just for reference ;)
Mina
I never do that, the weighing thing ^^; For good measure I sometimes buy the multiset packs. Of course once my sister received 3 packs for her b-day and one of the packs contained Crab Turtle and another one contained Turtle Oath. And nowadays, I'm finding a lot of Flying Kamakiri #2. I just rely on dumb luck.
Posthumous
Well, it you look at it...Ultra Rares are kind of "bent" and they pop out more...
Solo Tremaine
I notied that, too. Almost all of my holofoils bend in some way or another >_< And it makes me cheat sometimes- if I see a bent card in my deck I know it's a holofoil (and good, usually) so I make sure it's in my hand, heh. But I un-bend them now. The Unlimiteds bend less then the First editions, too. But usually you can't tell until you open the pack. I like to be able to get at least one Super rare when I get some boosters in multi set. So far in the LOB European set I've had five Celtic Guarians, three SORLs, five Polymerizations, four Curse of Dragons, three Trap Holes and Two Man-Eater Bugs. Not one Raigeki. Now if there was a way for telling which rare card was in which, then...

darkenshadow
When you pick a pack you have to look at yugi theres alwasy something different from him. In Canada here I have local card show and have used those secrets. But remember every box of cards are different in some way so you have to get a holo pack first than compare with the non holo packs. Tip: In LON most of the secrets are on his face check carefully
kiteS23
Well come on buddy, share the wealth. Tell us the secrets that you have figured out so far. I know that all the Japanese packs have definite differences, but I haven't heard of any on american packs.
