AzureWolf
Darn, I can't find it any more. Maybe it was an April's Fool Joke... Anyway, I've heard that, while there has been no official announcment, the rights to the name "Chrono Break" have been bought. That might have been an April's Fool Joke since I can't find it anymore, so tread with caution. :(
Semjaza
There's been rumors of the next game for years... but I'd say it's mostly crap. People were even saying Square would be putting it on Xbox, so that should tell you how useless the rumor even is. Either way, it's always been referred to as Chrono Break. Queen Asuka
I don't see how it's possible to even make another game to follow up the storyline that seemed to close quite nicely. But you never know some of these people with their extremely strange imaginations. Well, if it ever does come out, I will want to play it. ^_^
ZeroBlade
Actually, there is talk that a Chrono Trigger/Cross sequel is in the works. In an interview done by Playstation Underground, developers at Square said that many there will look forward to making a another Chrono game just like they would for Final Fantasy 7. Its just that it wasn't annouced but it is in the talks but we most likely won't hear of it until like Final Fantasy 12 comes out.
Utena_Tenjou
I only heard about the name (Chrono Break), I found it on an unoffical Chrono webpage, so it maybe just a rumor.
ZeroBlade
Chrono Break was a made up rumor by a crazied fan but ironically enough, it may very well be indeed its offical name. (In that square themselves picked up the name and like the sound of it but again its unknown if the game is even in development)
7gR
Actually you can't go to Gaurdia at all in Chrono Cross and Gaurdia became Porre in 1005 according to the playstation version of Chrono Trigger
Dragon Warrior
It would be nice to see another Chrono game. I do like the series, but as Asuka said, it may be hard to fit another one in there that'd follow Chrono Cross' storyline. It may just be another game for the series and not a part of a past one. If ya catch my drift.
Guest Zeh
Well, the rights to Chrono Break have infact been bought. Wether it'll be a new brand of candy, or a new game is still unknown. No other news has been factual, all of it's rumor.
Guest fatnewt
Exactly: everything is rumor except the name. The announcement of Chrono Break came from Square itself, I believe. But that's all that was announced. Chrono Trigger/Radical Dreamers/Chrono Cross... the latest one is one of my favorite games ever. If Chrono Break ever comes around, I hope it takes some of Chrono Cross' better qualities with it.
Narius
Due to a secret ending in the Chrono Trigger PSX version many of us Chrono Freaks have come to believe Chrono Break is to be a direct sequel to Chrono Trigger (Chrono Cross sucked in comparison to its predecessor). I would tell you the ending, but don't want to ruin it. It involves a King though....you know like a certain king that became that way in a certain way..... ok thats more than I needed to say...
