Well, since school's almost over, my English teacher is taking us to see a movie. I actually voted for something else, but the other option isn't available in that theater anymore, suu... we're going to see 'Finding Nemo'. I'm actually kinda reluctant on seeing this, so I'm asking you guys. ^^;

What do you think of this movie, and would you recommend it, or not?

I HIGHLY recommend this movie to anyone with even the smallest sense of humour.

I absolutely LOVED this movie, it was hilarious, meaningful, passionate, and just plain funny.^^*Though I basically said that in hilarious..Oo*

The characters are very individual, and just...wonderful, the story is GREAT, and the CG sets it far apart from any 2D ocean movies.^~

Again, I loooooooved this movie, and I really do recommend it to anyone!^^ Wonderful, one of Pixar's many masterpeices...^^

Well I just got back from watching the movie...Its was pretty good...Not as funny as some of their previous movies but still alot better then any of disneys traditional animated movies...

It can get alittle serious and alittle sad...And has abit of an underlying theme about ppl overcocming there handicaps(mental and physical) But it still has alot of good jokes and jags...

And the animation ofcourse is GORGEOUS...Pixar outdoes themselves everytime graphically...

And it looks like there typical high quality will continue with there next movie...Its coming out next year and it looks to be a spoof on superheroes...The short trailer of it infront of nemo was pretty funny I must say :laugh:

It was great! Much, much better than how it seemed in the previews. The beginning was really sad.
My favorite part was when they were in the dark. That was hilarious. ^^;

AND, I did not almost cry in the beginning. :shifty:

I still haven't seen this movie. Hopefully I might go see it with some of my friends tonight. If not I will probably just wait until it comes out on video then rent it. From what everyone has said, it seems like a good movie.

I haven't gone to see it but my Brother and his wife and their son (my cute nephew) went to go see it. I'm guessing it was really good because Wednesday we drove by the movie theatre and my nephew had a fit that we weren't going to go see the movie. He started crying and I felt sorry for him.

Well I really enjoyed Toy Story, and Toy Story 2, but then I didn't like Monsters Inc. I don't really even want to give this one a chance. The only thing that appeals to me is the fact that it's computer animated and the animation looks amazing. The thing is i'm sure I will start to get bored of it at least half way through the movie if the movie is not very good. It's not really even so much that I don't think it's a good movie but I think it would probably be a bit too kiddish for my taste. That and the fact I don't want to be the oldest person in the movie theatre(which is what happened when I saw Monsters Inc.).

I think this is probably the second best Pixar movie I have seen yet - Monsters Inc. being the first. I wasn't a huge fan of the Toy Story's, but I really enjoyed A Bug's Life - love Denis Leary.

I also loved the Crush scene, especially with the kids. The whole movie was also amplified with Ellen DeGeneres' role as Dory. My favorite would have to be in the scene with the Sea Turtles,
where all the children gather around (with Dory) in the middle, and when Marlin, voiced by Albert Brooks, was convinced to tell about his tale to that point - Dory looks around and says something like, "Oh, this will be good" I almost died laughing there.
One of my favorite characters was Jaques from the fish tank. When Willam Defoe's character (forget his name)
decided a plan to escape, he tells Jaques (the Crawfish, right?) not to clean, and he replies - with his French accent - "I shall resist!" . . lol, and later when he sees Jaques trying to clean the tank, Jaques turns around with scum all over his lips, and drops his head saying, "I am ashamed"

The beginnig was SSSSOOOO sad! After that part I kind of didn't want to see the rest of the movie, but it was absolutely hilarious. I didn't get some of the jokes at first, (Debb and Flo= Ebb and Flow, Mt. Wannahunkaluggy...ETC.)but once I figured it out I was laughing the rest of the way home. Now I'm probably going to get the nickname Dory for my bad memory...Hey! I remembered something! :D

I saw it with my friends after I got back from a trip (it was a sort of surprise party thing) and wow--I loved it. I nearly died laughing. Dori was awesome, heh.

One of the greatest parts was the whole "speaking whale" thing, heh.

I thought I posted in here. I guess not heh.

I saw it the day it came out. There were tons of little kids talking to the movie. Normally I'd probably be annoyed, but what could I expect? I thought it was kind of funny though. At one point, some little girl came over and touched my hat lol.

Anyway, I thought the movie was great. Sometimes it felt like it was holding your hand through it too much, but it didn't bother me much. Even the surfer turtle wasn't as annoying as I expected.

I still think this is a second to Monsters, Inc. though.

It's one of my favorite movies. Crush and Squirt totally rocked, with the noggin and the duuuuuuude thing there! -_-;; My cousin literally fell out of his seat laughing, and he tipped his popcorn over, yet I, with my serious face, just sat in my chair and watched without smiling. Yet when we were going home, I burst out laughing for no good reason at all.

You're saying that Pixar is good at KID entertainment? Sure, younger kids may go see it, but have you even seen Toy Story or Toy Story 2?

Did you check out ANY of the deleted scenes? Did you see the storyboarded JAWS sequence??? It's dark as hell.

What about Wheezy the Penguin? He's DYING, for crying out loud.

What about Sarge? Do you realise who his voice actor is? R. Lee Ermey. You're probably unaware of Full Metal Jacket. Go and watch it, then tell me Toy Story is "kid entertainment." By having Ermey perform the voice of Sarge, Pixar is immediately bringing us back to Full Metal Jacket (a very, very, very disturbing film about Vietnam).

Did you catch the not-so-subtle sexual innuendo between Woody ("Woody"...think about it.) and Bo Peep? "Maybe I should find somebody else to watch over the flock tonight." Why do you think she'd look for someone to watch over the flock that night? It's not to play checkers. You're telling us that's kid entertainment.

Do you consider Jurassic Park to be totally safe for Toy Story's audience? The car chase sequence in the toy store (Toy Story 2) flashes back to a pretty frightening scene in Jurassic Park. Do you remember when the T-Rex is chasing after Malcom, Ellie, and Muldoon?...show that to a 5 year old. I'm sure that they won't be scared.

Next time you want to say "Pixar's good at kid entertainment," please, take a closer look. Pixar excels at entertainment for all ages.

Thanks.

Dori,Crush and Squirt are da bomb! Dori is so funny! I think it's funny when she is leading Marlin to the boat and she freaks out because he's following her. And when she trys to speak whale. LOL! That was so funny! Crush and Squirt were so cool! Dudddde!
Totally! heh heh. The little kids talking was annoying at first but I got so into the movie I could barely hear them.
