RPG The Crystal Wars

[Nightwing]

The crowd was upset to see there raining Champ face down on the ground. The announcer stood in shock.

Announcer: Oh my goodness it look like are two time champ is down for the count. Looks like Earthquake might just beat Ryu. What an upset this well be.

Earthquake walk around the ring yelling that he was better then Ryu and that not even the Champ could come close to his strength.

Earthquake: I showed you all that he is nothing. Now it is time for me to finish this chump.

Earthquake then summoned up some energy he then jumped up in the air. The crowd couldn't see him cause he jumped in front of the sun. Earthquake then began to fall back down to the ground, his body was covered by a ball of energy. Most of the crowd turned away so they wouldn't have to see there hero back get broken in half. Once an explosion was heard the crowd looked back to see how bad the damage was. But the only thing that could be seen was a great deal of smoke. As the smoke started to clear the they could see Earthquakes figure threw it.

Earthquake: I told you that he was not...... WHAT where is he?

Earthquake looked in shocked surprised that Ryu had dodge his attack. He looked ever where but Ryu was no where to be seen. Then someone from the crowd pointed in the air. Everyone looked up and saw a someone falling from the sky. As the figure was getting close they notice that it was Ryu. He landed on the corner of the ring that was left after Earthquakes attack.

Ryu: Did you really think that you could have beat me with one blow.You must be stupid. I'll give you this, if you was a little faster you might have got a piece of my hair.

Earthquake: How did you move that fast you was just out for the count a few seconds ago? It's not posable.

Ryu: When you did that little attack I found out your weakness. I knew if I just let you bet me up for a while it'll show in do time.

Ryu then started to walk towards Earthquake. You could see the heat waves coming from his body. A red aura also came around his body. The crowd all started to get hot due to the heat Ryu's body was giving off.

Ryu: While I was on the ground I came up with a new move. Let me show you how it works. I call Sacrifice.

Ryu's body then started to get a little bulkier. Red partials flowed around Ryu in a circular motion. It then turned into a red ball of energy covering his body.

Ryu: This was a good fight but now it's time for me to finish it.

Earthquake: You won't beat me that easily.

Earthquake then took off towards Ryu running as fast as he could. Ryu then shot an energy blast at Earthquake as he was running but he jumped into the air to get out the way.

Ryu: GAME OVER.

Ryu jumped towards Earthquake in the air. The ball of energy took the shape of a head of a dragon. To the crowd it looked like a dragon leaving a red energy wave trail behind it. Ryu pulled back his arm all the energy went to it. With all his force he punched Earthquake so hard in the chest that his crystal broke in half and his armor just fell off into pieces. The impact sent Earthquake flying towards the crowd. But the force field stopped him from any impact towards them. As Ryu landed on the ground his armor vanished. For a minute he couldn't stand but the moment soon pasted. Then all of Ryu's fans ran towards him screaming and yelling for joy. The announcer was one of the first people to run to him.

Announcer: So Ryu tell us what was that last move you used?

Ryu: It's called Sacrifice. I use my life force to help me gain a lot more power.

Announcer: You have to tell us. Now in the beginning of the match Earthquake had you on the ropes. How did you turn things around?

Ryu: Easy. I remembered he had a Earth crystal. When he.... BEEP.... BEEP... I know his weakness was BEEP

Then Ryu opened his eye's. It was all a dream his alarm clock was going off. "Aww man all that was just a dream, come on."He then got out of bed and got ready for school. As he was bushing his teeth he was thinking back about the dream." Oh yea it had to be a dream. There's no way anyone could beat me that bad. But that move what was it called?" As Ryu was trying to think back about his dream his mother knocked on the door.

Mom: Honey your going to be late for school. Your bus have just went by.

Ryu: WHAT? Are you serious? Man I can't be late again.

Ryu then grabbed his shirt then ran out the bathroom. Putting on his shoes while he was going towards the door. As he was coming to the front door his Mom already had his book bag in her hand for him. Ryu grabbed it and smiled and was on his way. As soon as Ryu got the door he looked to the right only to see his bus turning the corner going to the next stop. Ryu then ran around his house running threw his friends and neighbors yards. He could hear the bus approaching the other bus stop. As he was running there was a fence come up. As he was getting close he threw his book bag over and then as he approached it he did a front flip over the fence and as he was landing he grabbed his book bag before it hit the ground. Ryu ran a little bit more and made it to the bus stop right on time. As Ryu started to get on the bus the students where clapping for him making it on time.

Ryu: Thank you, thank you, thank you. I do my best.

Ryu then took the seat at the end of the bus and waited to get to school.

[Vicky]

Shinzo stood by the tree grinning at the childern running on the school bus. He had his crystal on him. He was up since 4:00 this morning, thinking about the team he'd be on. He wondered if he should just take over. He didn't need them, he was powerful without his crystal.

Shinzo: I don't see the point. The school boys, pethic! I just hope that Ryu guy can cut it!

He walked on to Ryu's school.

Shinzo: I think I'll have a talk to my team mate!

He said deeply. He waited outside of Ryu's school and stared. He saw the bus come. The students got off.

Student: Hey! How come you never go to school?

Shinzo: Because I already have knowlegde of the universe. Don't qeastion me!

The student walked off.

Ryu: Hey, your on my team for the tournament, are't you?

[Eclectic]

Kaya yawned and rolled over in bed. She really should get up but there was no school today. She could do whatever she wanted. It was Saturday, wasn't it? She looked at the date on her computer. Friday...FRIDAY!?!? She jumped out of bed and quickly got dressed.
"Ms. Valkyrie?" Her constantly worried maid peeked into the room. "You must hurry! You have school today! Then you must pack for the tournament. Ms. Valkyrie?"
"Don't worry so much, Leena. And I've told you a million times, just call me Kaya. Everyone else does." She put on her makeup and choker. Looking at her Phoenix crystal, she threw it into her pocket. "So, what's for breakfast?"
"What do you want Ms. Valkyrie?"
Kaya sighed. No matter what, Leena would always call her Ms. Valkyrie. At least some things wouldn't change. "It's Kaya and all I want is some toast and a glass of juice." [i]Why did I start going to public school? Having a tutor was so much easier.[/i] [b]Because you wanted to meet new people,[/b] her conscience (sp) answered. Kaya ran downstairs to the kitchen. Her parents sat reading the newspaper, probably seeing how much money their stocks would make. Another thing that wouldn't change. "Hi, Mom. Hi, Dad."
"Good morning, Kaya," her father replied. "Don't be late for school again. They're already upset about you leaving for this tournament."
She ate a piece of toast, thinking about all the work they expected her to do. "Dad, aren't you the one who's always telling me to better myself? Obviously, I'm a good enough fighter, so I'm gonna go do. Gotta go now. Bye!"
"Correct English, darling!" Her mother gave her a concerned look. "And don't get yourself hurt."
"Mom, I'll be fine!"
"Sorry we won't be here to see you off honey! Leena will take you to the airport. Our jet will be waiting for you."
"But, you promised! What is it this time? You can't get out of some kind of stupid meeting? I must not be that important to you if you can just blow me off like that. I have to go." She stormed out of the house and got onto her motorcycle (OOC: I couldn't resist!:D). Her entire life had been a series of missed milestones. They missed her last five birthdays, her meeting with the American ambassadors(sp) and her inagruaration into the International Young Ambassadors(sp) Assocation, almost all of her fights, and her eighth grade graduation. Not to mention any sporting events she had, any awards ceremonies, anything and everything. When they did show up, they left before it was over! She arrived at school fifteen minutes bfore the bell rang, much to her relief. She walked through the halls, trying to gain some memories from this place.
"Glad you could join us, Ms. Valkyrie," Her homeroom teacher commented. "And before the bell! I'm glad our little street fighting champion could grace us with her presence one last time!" The entire class erupted in laughter as she shrunk down into her seat. [i]One more day[/i], she thought, fingering the crystal in her pocket. [i]One more day, and I can say goodbye to his face forever.[/i]

OOC: Pretty good first post! Nice and long. Don't expect the rest to be this good. It's a pretty much one time event.

Shinzo watch Ryu run into school.

Shinzo: I can't belive Ryu still goes to school! He'll have no time to train!

Shinzo walked off with his arms crossed. He then was stopped by a police car.

Police: Shouldn't you be in school?

Shinzo: I don't go to school.

Shinzo walked on.

Police: Well here we don't let kids run around! Now hope in the back! Your going home, I think we need to talk to your parents!

Shinzo: I don't have any.

Shinzo continued. The police car fallowed.

Shinzo: Leave me!

The two police got out there radio. Shinzo turned round and bashed the front of the car.

Police: Hey!

The to men jumped out and charged at Shinzo.

Police: Your under arest for attacking a petrole officers vercile. An-

Before he could finish, Shinzo kicked him down.

Shinzo: Catch me if you can!

He sped off though the park. The police trailed after him.

Police: Huh?

Shinzo vanished.

[Corey]

[b]Ryan-[/b] "Almost there..." I touched the electronic probe to the crystal again. It flickered with power and lit up. I smiled and dropped all of my tools. Repairs were complete. My crystal was better than ever before. Now all it needed was a test run. I clipped it into the chain around my neck and walked outside. It glinted in the sun with an eager mood. I popped my knucles and began powering up my crystal. It immediately jumped to level fifteen. I smiled. That was seven more than before. I began to run.

Everything seemed to slow down. Birds that would normally be swooping through the air did their acrobatics at almost half speed. I stopped and looked around. It was all going well. My crystal powered up again. To sixty this time. All of my muscles gave a small spasm. I had never jumped up so many levels before. I felt my heart beat faster. It might become to straining in long matches. I'd have to cope...

The world looked like it was standing still. My sprinklers were shooting out water at a snails pace. I walked up and touched the steam of water coming out. It slowly impacted against my hand. I took my hand away and watched the small distortion I had made fall to the ground.

[b]Ryan-[/b] "Wonderful... Anymore?" I crouched down and began concentraiting. If I could do this right I would be able to power up my crystal to maximum capabilities. "GrrrrrrraaaAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!" I stood up fast and my crystal gave off a burst of light. The small indicator on my wrist showed me at level seventy eight. My jaw dropped. The most I had ever been able to get before was sixty three. I felt my muscles ripple again and began powering down. The sprinkler returned to it's original state, and the birds flew around at their normal speed. This years tournament would be a piece of cake.

I walked into the house and put away the tools I had left out. Two white envelopes caught my eye. They each bore the sign of my team, the Hyper Speed Knights.

[b]Ryan-[/b] "Shi?..." I had forgot to mail them. They were invitations to my team. After I had taken time off to modify my crystal, my previous team quit. They weren't willing to wait for me to finish. A new team was needed. I spent three whole days looking for loyalty-free fighters. Free players, if you prefer. There were many that were good, but these two had shown real potential. One of them lived near me. Perhaps I would go and drop it off to her personally.

[Sakura]

Sakura was doing some cleaning in her house when she heard the doorbell.Sakura put down the cleaning items and walked to the door.

[b]Sakura-[/b]Hello How can I help you?

[b]Ryan-[/b]I'm Ryan.Do you remember?

Sakura thought then she remembered nodding.

[b]Ryan-[/b]Yes.Well I'm here to give you the invitation to the Tournament.I'm sorry I forgot to mail them because I was modifying my crystal.

Ryan said holding the envelope up and showing her the crystal.

[b]Sakura-[/b]Thankyou so much!

Sakura said happily taking the envelope.She studied the crystal.It was great.She brought out hers from around her neck.

[b]Sakura-[/b]So Ryan...when do we leave?!

[Nightwing]

Ryu was looking out the window as he saw his new partner beat up some cops. He started to shake his head. Then one of his friends came up behind him.

Adam: Dude what's going on?

Ryu: Nothing man. Hey did you do the Government project?

Adam: Yea I'm turn mine in tomorrow. Hey what happened to those cops out there.

Ryu: *He got up and seat down to his desk* He's my new partner.

Adam: Man he must be pretty bad messing with the cops like that.

Ryu: I seen worse.

As the two friends where talking there teacher came in without them knowing. He use to be a former crystal fighter. He was the champion for 5 years straight. The only reason why he's not one today is because of Ryu. Ryu was the one that beat him and also destroyed his crystal. He hated Ryu with a passion.

Mr.McCoy: Ryu and Adam why are you two just talking? Shouldn't you be doing some work.

Ryu: Sir there is no work for us to do.

Then Mr. McCoy then turned around and grabbed a piece of choke and wrote down an assignment.

Mr. McCoy: Now what was you saying about there not being no work? Now did you turn this in?

Ryu: How could I turn it in, you just wrote it on the board.

Mr. McCoy: I see. Looks like you have a F for the day.

Ryu then got up out his seat and threw his books on the floor.

Ryu: What kinda crap is this? No one else done the assignment why don't they get a F? I know what your problem is your still mad that I beat on my first year.

All the students in the room all started to get out of the way of the teacher and Ryu. His friend Adam then got up to try to hold Ryu back.

Mr. McCoy: Are you treating me? I think you are treating me. I think I should call the police.

Ryu: What there was no treat. What the hell are you talking about.

Adam: Man just cool it. just leave man your making it harder on your self.

Ryu then grabbed his book bag then stormed out of the class. His teacher smiled and told the students to do the assignment that he just put up. He then walked to the out side door of the class room. Pulled out his cell and called some guy.

Mr. McCoy: Yea he's on his way outside now.

He then hung up the phone and went back in the class room with a bigger smile on his face. Ryu was walking around in the front of the school. He saw a can in front of him, since there was nothing for him to punch to release some steam on it.He kicked the can as hard as he could the impact sent the can clean threw the brick wall that surrounds the school. The can was not enough for him he wanted to do some more damage. Ryu's rage was pumping so much his adrenaline a rising. His crystal began to glow. He tried to get back to his normal state of mind but it wasn't working. As he was walking back in forth a big man came from behind him out of know where. Ryu sense him quickly as he approached.

Ryu: Now is not the time for you to ask me to fight.

???: How did you know if I want to fight or not?

Ryu: I could sense you as you where coming. Your crystal power is to great I could tell you wanted to fight. You must have also sense mine and that's probley why you came this way.

???: And you figured all this out but sensing my power. I know now that you must be Ryu Sage. But since you are not feeling up to it I guest I have to make you up to it.

Ryu then turned around but the guy was gone. Ryu thought to himself that there was no way any one could be that fast. His hair on his head started to rise he knew then that something was about to happened. He walked a little ways in front of the school. He looked every where but he didn't see know one. Then he felt the ground beneath him started to shake. As fast as he could he jumped all the way to the top of the school building. As he was in the air the area that he was just at blew up into piece with rocks flying every where. Ryu covered his face.

??? So now that you know I mean business are you ready.

Ryu: Ok but you asked for it. I hope your ready.

Ryu then jumped into the air and yelled out. Hyper transformation once those words where spoken his armor appeared on his body. His crystal was glowing with power.

Ryu: I feel sorry for you. You had to get me and the point of time when my power is at it's strongest. This is going to be easy for me.

The tall guy smiled and laughed a little. Then in an instant he was gone Ryu jumped back in the air but then the guy appeared in front of Ryu with incredible speed. He grabbed Ryu by the face then threw him straight down to the ground causing a big crater. Moments later Ryu got up slowly and whipped some dirt off him.

Ryu: I guess not.

[Corey]

OOC: I sincerely hope that you are not reffering to me, Nightwing. If you had bothered to read prior posts, my character is busy delivering mail.

[b]Ryan-[/b] "Tomarrow my dear. I'll send a vehicle over to your house at seven o'clock sharp. Don't be late. We have a plane to catch." I gave her a smile and began walking back to my Buick.

[b]Sakura-[/b] "Ryan!" I turned and smiled. "What's the name of our team." She gave me a yearning smile.

[b]Ryan-[/b] "The Hyper Speed Knights. I'll see you tomarrow." I clicked open the door and stepped in. Before turning on the car I popped open my laptop. I punched in the name of my second teammate and brought up her current location. It wasn't hard to track a person when you knew their crystal type. A school... Interesting. She should be at home preparing for the tournament. It was no matter.

I keyed the Buick and listened to the engine rev to life. It would be a slightly long drive, but I would make it in time. I eyed the envelope again and a chill went though my spine. They were both so young... Was I making a mistake?

[Nightwing]

OOC: I'm not. Remember my teacher called someone one his cell.

[Ayokano]

Jin looked in his aparment's mail box.He took two envolopes.
Jin:Last report card.
He quickly opened it.
Jin:Oh crap,all Cs.Great.Look at this.Rampant Death,for a team?O.k.
He went into his aparment,and landed himself on the couch.His parents where out.Well atless he can enter tournaments all summmer.He fell asleep.

[Eclectic]

OOC: Knight of the Rose, when you actually meet up with me, I'll be at home, packing.

IC:Kaya sighed and looked at her watch. Only fifteen more minutes before she could leave. Rome might have been a beautiful city, but to her, it was just another city with another house her parents owned. Someone slipped her a note. She glanced back and saw Marquita, one of the only friends she had there, waving to her. "Thanks," she mouthed and quickly turned and opened the note...

She stared at the note for a little then glanced at her watch again. Five minutes left. She'd talk to Quita after class. The only shocking part was that Jon wanted to see her. She glanced at her watch again. Three minutes. She scribbled a hurried note...

She passed it to her.
"Okay, class," the teacher began. "Don't forget to do problems one to thirty for homework this weekend. (class groans) And Ms. Valkyrie, I need to see you before you leave." The bell rang and everyone left except Kaya and Quita.
Kaya walked up to her desk. "Was there something you wanted?"
"Yes. Here's a list of all the work you'll be missing this quarter. If you could, please email me all your work and I'll send you all of your tests and the next quarter's work. You will be taking a laptop with you, correct?"
"Yes, ma'am."
"Now go and win. You'll make this school and the rest of Italy proud."
Kaya smiled. "Thank you." Together, they all left the room and parted ways. Kaya headed for each part of the school, collecting all the work she'd have to do, though none of the other teachers were quite as supportive. When she was finally done forty-five minutes later, she rushed to her locker, then the front doors. Jon stood there waiting.
"Hello, Kaya. I just wanted to see you before you left. I...uhh..wanted to say that I'm...I'm gonna miss you." They both blushed.
"Really? I'll miss you too. But I have to go now. Maybe you could come with me to my house. I still have some packing to do."
"Umm...sure. But what about your friend, Quita?"
"She's going to meet me...us there. Come on." She walked over to where her motorcycle was parked. "I'm not sure if there's enough room. How'd you get here?"
He blushed again. "My dad dropped me off."
"Then I'm sure I could make room." She shifted the things in her backpack around until it was smaller. "There. Ready to go?" She handed him her spare helmet and put on her own.
"Umm...are you allowed to drive that thing?"
"Yes. Why?" She hopped on and started the engine.
"Oh, no reason really." He got on behind her and held on tightly. As if for dear life.
"My driving's not that bad." With that, she drove away. It wasn't as bad driving home today as it usually was. Sure, she jumped a few curbs, but still, it wasn't too bad. She arrived at her parent's villa in ten minutes. "You can let go now."
"Next time, I drive." They went upstairs to her room. "Nice place you've got here."
"What? Oh, sure, I guess. I'd rather live in a normal house. It seems so much more...lived in. Not like this place."
He walked over to the table by her door. "Looks like you've got some mail. Let's see...Cell phone bill, magazine, magazine, magazine, magazine, magazine...How many of these do you get?"
"About ten." She looked at him and smiled. "I get bored on long flights. Maybe you could go on the plane with me, then come back with it. Quita's going."
"Don't I need a ticket?"
"Nope. Private jet. It has better food too. Please continue with what mail I've gotten."
"How money much do you have? Anyway, more magazines, several letters from several different schools, and..." Just then the door bell rang.
"I'll get it!" She yelled, running as fast as she could down the stairs. She checked herself in the mirror. [i]Not bad. I could have worn something better and my makeup needs a touchup...[/i] She pushed the button to open the huge double doors.
"Hello, I'm looking for Kaya Valkyrie. I'm Ryan, her team's captain."
"Oh hi! I'm Kaya. Nice to meet you. Come in. Sorry about any mess, I'm still packing."
Ryan looked around the impeckably clean house, wondering where the mess might be.
"Hey, Kaya, who was at the door?" She looked up to see Jon coming down the stairs. "Who's that?"
"Umm...Jon, meet my team captain, Ryan. Ryan, meet my boyfriend, Jon."

[Corey]

[b]Ryan-[/b] "It's very nice to meet both of you." I gave them both a smile. "Now, I will arrange for a vehicle to come over here at about seven and pick you up. We have a flight to catch at-"

[b]Kaya-[/b] "Umm... Ryan. I have a plane. It's the families." I nodded slowly, handed her the envelope and brought out a scrap of paper. I scribbled a few number and names, and handed the paper back to her.

[b]Ryan-[/b] "Here is the address of our team's house. It's big," I looked around, "but maybe not quite this big. We do have a few extra rooms." I smiled at Kaya and looked toward Jon. They both blushed slightly. "Well I'll be off. If you want to bring anyone call me on my cell phone. The number is on the paper with the address. I'll see you tomarrow Kaya, and Jon, I'll see you later." He nodded and smiled. I shook Kaya's hand and walked back to my Buick. She seemed nice. In fact, both of my new team members did. Perhaps it wasn't a mistake. We will see after the first round.

[Nightwing]

Ryu's fight with this mysterious person was going on for to long. Word had gotten around in school that someone was crystal fighting. Doing the fight lots of people were gathering around. The only thing that got Ryu was that he wasn't doing so well in his fight with this guy. His opponent had stop fighting to talk.

Ryu: Your a good fighter. I can tell you where not just walking around and wanted to fight me.

???: Your right. I was actually sent to shame you in front of all these people. Be the first person to beat you. To show the world that your nothing

Ryu: So who sent you?

He pointed at the school building at a window. Ryu turned his head and saw his teacher Mr.McCoy looking at him with a smile on his face.

Ryu: I see. So who are you? I'll would like to know the name of the first person who is going to beat me in my own home.

???: My name is Earthquake. I'm the raining champ in Russia.

Ryu: * he started to think to himself* Wait this can't be right I had a dream about this. * He then looked back at Earthquake.* Let me guess you have an Earth crystal right?

EQ: You must have heard of me?

Ryu: No not really. As we where fighting I couldn't find a weakness in none of your attacks but one. That's when I knew what kind of crystal you have.

EQ: That's pretty good. But I have something to tell you. I know you have been holding back on what you can really do. I just couldn't figure it out Intel now. I really won't to fight the true champion. Lets go there.

Earthquake pointed to some mountains not to far away from where they where. Ryu looked back at Earthquake and shook his head yes. Some of the student where cheering on for a fight but the two where just standing there. People wanted more but to bad for them they weren't going to see the rest of the fight. At the same time both Ryu and Earthquake took off running toward the mountains. As Ryu was running he was looking at Earthquake trying to see if he could beat him on the way there. To Ryu anything he does he have to be the best. He couldn't help him self to see if he was faster. It didn't take long for both of them to get mid way up the mountain. They was so high up the wind was blowing fearlessly. It was blow Ryu's hair in every direction. Some winds where so powerful it blew Ryu off his balance a little. It was a lot colder up there as well. With every breath Ryu took he saw it pasted his face. But Earthquake didn't seemed to be berthed by the wearther.

Ryu: You must think I'm a fool. You wanted to pick these area so your Earth crystal well get a lot stronger.

EQ: And I thought it was going to be a surprise. I guest your better then what I thought. Normally know one would find out by fighting me. I really did underestimated you. But I won't again.

Ryu: But you already did. There is a reason I lead on as being an OK crystal fighter. A reason you won't find out. But now that it is just me and you and there's no mysterious eye's around I'm going to show you what I can really do. You well be one of the few people that have seen what I can really do.

EQ: Your nothing but talk. If you are going to show me what you can really do what makes you think I won't tell anyone.

Ryu: When I get done with you. You won't have any memory of this. One well stand the other well fall.

EQ: You shouldn't waste your life so recklessly.

Both Earthquake and Ryu stood still looking at each other both bring up there powers. But for Earthquake his powers didn't have any limits do to the area they where in. Earthquake could now sense the real power of Ryu. He couldn't believe that this boy could gain this kind of power. But he tried not to let it get to him. He had a job and he's going to go it.

[Eclectic]

OOC: Mount Kea(Hawaii) and Stromboli(Italy) are real active volcanoes. I didn't just make something up for once! ^_^

IC: Kaya watched him drive off, wordering how he'd gotten here so fast. "He was supposed to have sent me that weeks ago. What team am I on anyway?" She opened the letter and read. "Hmm...Hyper Speed Knights..."
"You're on the Hyper Speed Knights?" He grapped the letter to see for himself. "You can barely run a lap around the track in gym without complaining!"
"Excuse me," she snapped, snatching the letter from him. "No one asked you to comment on my abilities!" She glanced out the window. The limo with Quita was outside, ready to take her to the airport. "Are you coming with me or not?"
"I guess so."
"Good, then you can help me with my bags." She pulled several very large suitcases from out of her closet. "I guessed I packed enough..."
"Are you moving somewhere? I thought this tournament was supposed to be short."
"I still have to train with the rest of my team. Besides, this one is training wear, these two are casual wear, this one is semi casual and this one is semi formal and formal." They dragged her bags downstairs to the car and got in. As soon as Kaya closed the door, they pulled off, heading for the small airport nearby. She pulled her crystal out of her pocket and looked at it for a bit. The stone casted a reddish glow on her face. She put it around her neck and glanced out the window as Rome passed her by.
"What's wrong?" Quita asked. "You're usually happy to be away. I would be too. No school for any amount of time is a good thing."
"I guess so." She sighed as they past the city limits. "We'll be at the airport soon. And Jon, you have to make a decision. Are you coming or not?"
"I don't know..."
There was a long silence as they got out of the car and onto the plane.
"so, why did we leave a day early?" Quita asked after take-off.
"Well, my parents said I could borrow the plane and the motorcycle for the weekend and you guys don't have school on Monday, so ..."
"I know! Weekend Vaca!" Quita squealed with delight. "Where to?"
"Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii. I can train somewhere hot, you guys can stay all weekend and leave on Monday. All expenses are paid. Tomorrow, I'll just take the jet. That's the real reason I brought so many bags. There's one for each of you and the other two are mine."
"One question. How did you find out what size I wear? I've never told you or Quita."
"Ah, the wonders of modern technology, especially when in the hands of a wealthy and somewhat capable hacker." Kaya smiled. "I tracked any shopping you've done online recently and matched sizes with your height and weight from the school's healthcare database. It was pretty easy."
Jon turned to Quita. "Remind me never to give her a reason to hate me."
They landed in Honolulu a few hours later and checked into the Hawaii Grand Hotel's penthouse suite. They all changed and met in Kaya's room. "I'm going to find the nearest active volcano," Kaya said. "What are you two doing?"
"I'm not sure yet," Jon replied. "Maybe we'll go with you. There's bound to be something near a volcano."
"You can take the motorcycle. I'm going to get there on foot." She opened the suite's laptop and searched for a bit. "According to this, the nearest is Mount Kea on Hawaii, 185 miles away." She sighed. I guess we have to take the car. I can't run across the bays." They all got into the car. "Malcolm, we need to go to Mount Kea." she handed the driver a map. "This should show you the fastest ways there." It didn't take very long and Kaya left her friends behind and began the long climb. The hotter it got, the more at home she felt and the more her crystal began to react. "This is just like begin at home on Stromboli." She inhaled deeply and transformed into her crystal form. Her short hair grew long, almost unruly, and turned a red and orange mix. She sprouted great wings of fire. "This is perfect," she sighed contentedly.
"What are you doing up here?" a strange voice called from behind her. She returned to her normal form and looked to see who it was. A local was running up the volcano behind her. "Wait!" he cried, "this is an active volcano! You can't just go up when you like! It's not a tourist attraction!"
"I'm not a tourist, I'm here to train. And if it's so dangerous, why, may I ask are you up here? A local like yourself should know better."
"I have a Fire crystal. The heat doesn't bother me and neither will any magma."
"Really? Then you wouldn't mind a little fight against me, would you? I have a Phoenix crystal. Hopefully we'll be evenly matched."
He shook his head. "I wouldn't want to hurt you. And fighting you might ruin my reputation as a gentleman. I'd never fought a girl before out of respect."
Kaya's anger boiled and the power of her crystal grew. "Then it's time you made an exception. Are you ready to be beaten by this girl?"
He sneered. "Of course, I'm ready to fight you. And out of respect, I'll let you hit me without even powering my crystal."
"You MUST be an idiot! This isn't anywhere NEAR my full power and you WANT me to hit you??" She laughed. "Fine then." She powered down a little and charged at him. He dodged at the last possible second.
"What? The little streetfighter can't hit me? King of Mount Kea has never been beaten before!" He changed into his crystal form, dressed like a traditional Hawaiian warrior.
"There's a first time for everything, Tiki Boy." She did the same and smiled. [i]No one calls me a streetfighter and gets away with it.[/i] She charged at him again.
"The same attack? I thought Italians had more sense then that." He dodged again, laughing the entire time. He stood a few yards away, still laughing. "Is that all you can do?"
"No!" Kaya was flying above him, a ball of flames in her hands. She threw it at him and charged at the ground. He dodged again, but was hit by Kaya and pinned to the ground. "Bye-bye, Tiki Boy." She made another fire-ball, larger and much more powerful this time, and held it inches from his face. "Give up yet?" The aura of power around her surged, growing almost expontentially.
"Yeah, don't hurt me!" She stood, still holding the fire-ball. He jumped up and was about to run back down to the town below.
"Wait! Are there any other fighters nearby?"
"Almost everyone here has a Fire crystal. But there's a few on Maui who don't."
"Thanks." She returned to her normal self and started walking back when she paused. "Here, Tiki Boy, have a present." She tossed the ball into the volcano, knowing it wouldn't do any damage.
"You could set off an eruption!"
"Don't worry. It won't. Your now-ruined reputation, however, just might." With that, she turned and walked back to the car, where her friends were waiting.
"What did you do this time?" Jon asked. "I hope you didn't hurt anyone. We could see the flames from here."
Kaya sighed. "Such reverence for arrogant yet unskilled fighters. I didn't do anything. We should go. I need to get up pretty early tomorrow." They got back into the car and returned to the hotel without much thought of what had happened. They had seen her fight before on the nearby volcanoes. She did that kind of thing all the time.
*LATER*
"Jon, you have to decide tonight. Are you going with me? Quita is."
"I don't know. I really want to, but what about school?"
"I'll have my parents send them an e-mail. Don't worry about that."
"What about my mom? She wants me to keep my grades up."
She handed him the phone. "It's about still pretty early there. Just call her and ask." He took the phone and called. Several minutes later, he hung up, looking happy.
"She said yes. As long as my grades are good. And she's going to call the school and tell them I'm going on a student exchange trip. There's a family there that wants me to stay with them next year. So sometimes I'll be with them."
"Well, I'll call Ryan and tell him." She picked up the phone and looked at the number on her letter. "I hope he let's you come." With that, she dialed the number and waited for him to answer.

[Nightwing]

Both Ryu and Earthquake took off at each other. Each step they took was cracking the ground beneath them. Both pulled back there fist and was about to swing but then without warning. There was a big explosion in front of the two. The power of these explosion sent both of the two fighters flying backwards, both were sliding on the ground. Once they had stop, both got up and looked around but didn't see anyone. They looked at each knowing one of them didn't do it. But it neither of them did it then who? Moments later the ground began to shake. Both Ryu and Earthquake were losing there balance, they were barley standing. Out of the ground a man aroused. He couldn't barley be seen.

???: This match is over. Ryu go home.

Ryu didn't now how to reply to this. A man just came out of the ground and stop the two from fighting. Plus he knew his name. He was a little confused.

Ryu: Who are you?

???: There is no time for questions just leave now.

While this mysterious man was facing Ryu, Earthquake was powering up for an attack. This man was still trying to tell Ryu to leave. But Ryu was to confused and wanted to know why he wanted him to leave. The man was walking towards Ryu. That's when Earthquake though to himself he can kill two birds with one stone. Once the guy had got close to Ryu that's when he did his move Earth's Destruction. Then both of his hands hit the ground sending a power wave threw the ground crushing and destroying everything in it's path. As it was getting closer to Ryu and this new character then both vanished with in a blink of an eye. Earthquake couldn't believe that they just disappeared in front of him like that. He was about to leave. But the ground wasn't stable, do to the damage that Earthquakes move did.

Earthquake: This is not good.

Then the ground just crumbled under him with him falling threw and other rocks falling on top of him caving him in. Mean while back on the streets. Ryu laid on the ground back in his normal appearance. Ryu got up and didn't understand how he got back. He was only a block down the street from his house. It was dark and the street lights where on. He got up and then heard a voice. He looked around but didn't see know one. He could feel someone near he looked at his hand to get his crystal read but when he looked at his hand it wasn't there. His eye's opened in shock.

Ryu: What happened into my crystal!?

Then he saw a shadow on the ground but it wasn't his he looked up and saw know one. The shadow then moved more close to him. Then man who stop him from fighting came out of the shadow.

Ryu: You, who are you?

???: You can call me Shadow. I'm the one who took your crystal Ryu.

Ryu: Why did you take my crystal?

Shadow: I well tell you everything but not all today. This is all I can tell you for now. You do have a powerful crystal but for what is going to happened you are going to need more then that. Something is going to happened Ryu and you need to be more then just powerful. I'm going to tell you something about your crystal you didn't know. Your crystal is one of the most powerful crystal they where made. Each one has a special talent. Yours is a powerful one. It feeds off your adrenaline with makes you an impossible person to beat. But in your case your it's pretty easy. You don't have control your crystal it controls you.

Ryu: How do you mean?

Shadow: You have dreams don't on how to do new and more powerful moves? Your crystal is the one doing it. It gives you these dreams to make you stronger

Ryu: But why?

Shadow: The crystal doesn't won't a weak owner.

Ryu: Weak who are you calling weak? Just because i have dreams doesn't mean i'm weak.

Shadow: I'm not calling you weak your crystal is. I'm going to hold on to it for you Intel you become more powerful in your skills and you are ready to have it's power. Then I'll return it to you.

Ryu: How well you know?

Shadow: Your crystal well let me know.

Then Shadow began to fade into his own shadow.

Ryu: What crystal am I post to us Intel then?

Shadow: You know what you have to do.

Ryu: I know? Why are you doing this?

As Shadow was leaving he answer his question.

Shadow: *Voice fading out* You well find out soon enough.

Ryu just stood there dumbfounded. He looked at his watch he notice that it was time for him to go home.

Ryu: Mom is going to kill me.

Ryu then started walking home thinking of a lie to tell his mom.

My phone rang with the same ring tone. I hated it so much. Despite all of technilogical know-how, I still couldn't change the ring on my damned phone! I picked it up quickly, not wanting to listen to it any longer.

[b]Ryan-[/b] "Schezar." There was nothing for a long moment. I almost hung up.

[b]Kaya-[/b] "Ryan?" I smiled and contiued walking toward the airplane gate. The flight was in about two hours. The limo should be pulling up in front of Sakura's house very soon. I shot a glance at my watch. 6:57

[b]Ryan-[/b] "It's me Kaya. What's up?"

[b]Kaya-[/b] "I have some good news! Jon and Quina decided to come!" I smiled wider.

[b]Ryan-[/b] "I knew they would. I'll have the rooms made. I take it you and Jon will want adjoining rooms." Silence on the other end.

[b]Kaya-[/b] "Yup." I nodded, even though I was on the phone.

[b]Ryan-[/b] "Ok. See you later." I hung up and pocketed my phone. Hopefully Sakura wouldn't be late.

[Sakura]

The doorbell rang and Sakura ran to the door with her bag.

Sakura-Hi.Are you from Ryan?

The chaffeur nodded and took her bag.
Sakura looked outside and saw the limo.She gadsped.
The Chaffeur opened the door and Sakura sat.

Sakura was so excited.She couldn't wait for the tournament.

I watched the limo pull into the parking lot closest to the gate we needed. It parked and one of my employees, Alan Liney, steped out. He grabbed Sakuras bag from the trunk and opened her door. She stepped out with a look of wonder on her face. She thanked Alan and took the bag from him. He gave her a courteous little bow, something I had always forced him not to do, and re-entered the limo. It drove off.

[b]Airport Intercom-[/b] "Flight 567 to the Crystal Fighting Tournament will begin boarding shortly." I frowned and looked at the time. I was hoping for a little food before we got in the air. Airplane food, even first class, wasn't too apetizing. I walked out of the airport.

[b]Ryan-[/b] "Sakura!" I waved. She turned and looked at me, a little shocked. She waved back and made her way over too me.

[b]Sakura-[/b] "Hey Ryan! When's our flight?" I took her bag and we made our way inside.

[b]Ryan-[/b] "Boarding just began before you got here. I guess we won't have time for food."

[b]Sakura-[/b] "It's ok. I'm way too excited to eat!" I nodded and pointed at a gate.

[b]Ryan-[/b] "That's ours."

[b]Sakura-[/b] "Then we should probably go." She gave me a mischivous little smile and began walking toward the gate without me. I laughed and walked after her.

[Eclectic]

"Hurry up you two! We have to go NOW!" Kaya looked at her watch again. [i]If those two don't hurry up! What could they be doing?[/i]
"Come on, we'll miss our flight!" Quita ran out her room, dragging her suitcase behind her. Jon followed more slowly.
"COME ON!" they yelled together, jabbing at the elevator button. They got on quickly and went to the first floor lobby apologizing to the other waiting guests. Their chauffeur and two bellhops took the bags as they got into the limo. Once Malcolm got into the car, Kaya handed him another map.
"Thank you, miss, but I know where I'm going. I used to live here," commented, pulling off.
"Oh," she said, embarassed and blushing. "My parents told me you would need a map. I'm sorry."
"It's quite alright, miss. We should be arriving at the airport in ten minutes."
A slower ten minutes had never passed. As soon as they got to the front doors, Kaya pushed her way to the gate. She was just about to board the plane when a stewardess tapped her on the shoulder.
"This is a private gate reserved for Miss Valkyrie and her guests. You cannot go any further."
"How dare you tell me I can't board my own family's jet! Do you know who I am?" It was one of the few times Kaya had ever lost her temper and over something so small. Jon and Quita caught up with her.
"Come on, Kaya, just get on the plane and go. Jon, please take care of her."
"Well, first of all..." His vioce faded as they boarded the the jet.
"Kaya, what's wrong with you? You almost never get mad about anything."
"Just a little stressed that's all. I wish he would hurry up." She looked at her watch. Ryan and Sakura would most likely be in the air by now.
"Calm down! Here he is." Jon walked into the cabin, looking slightly exhausted.
"Finally we can go!" And the jet started down the runway.
***Hours Later***
"Miss Valkyrie, we'll be landing soon. Would you like me to have a limo pick you up?"
"Sure. Just have my motorcycle at the house when we arrive." Kaya had calmed down considerably and was her normal self again. They landed and got into the waiting limo. She handed the driver the address and they drove off.

[Baron Samedi]

Damon woke up from watching television and yawned. *ten minutes later* Damon actually really oke up and heded for the kitchen in the californian mansion. he knew he should of been training for Crystal wars, or studying, but lets face it- he was bored. nothing better for boredom than tele-sleep ( FYI: falling asleep watching television while still being conscious). Then he remembered! Jin had requested that he ring him As soon as to tell him about the Crystal Tournament. he reached for the phone above the kitchen bench, and ducked, just as a dagger went into the wall right where his head had been. he spun in a low crouch and jumped over the floating bench (you know those counters in the kitchen which arent attatched to walls?) landing a kick on the point of the assassins jaw, rendering him unconscious, and probably speechless for the rest of his life- unless they could attatch the tip of his tongue back on. he knew he shouldn't complain as it did heighten his skills, having half- bros and sisses, sending assassins to kill Daddy'es favourite - i.e. MONEY!- but it did get kind of annoying. he reached for the phone, wasnt attacked, and dialed jin-

Damon- Hey Jin its Damon
Jin- hey- have you got the info on that tournament?
Damon- yeah i will email it to ya right now ifya want?
Jin- ok yeah. when is it
Damon- uh. well, you see, it is tomorrow.- how soon canya have ya bags, packed, i can send a car over to pick you up, and we can be off for two glorious weeks of Combat. should be a cakewalk, dont you think?
Jin- yeah, how are we going to get there.
Damon- well my dads over in germany visiting his parents, but he hired a small jet for us to use in case we needed it. i spose this counts as something we need so. yeah we'll take that
Jin- cool, cya- when?
Damon- uum. well to get there on time- uuh- well about 2 am...
Jin- sheeeeeit!! thats bad.
Damon- sleep on tha plane

*heads down to the basement. the one that he begged his father to build. the one with the bomb proof walls. so that none may be hurt when he trains. he trains. Mesmerising Shadows, his crystal's namesake are released. he hopes he never uses them in fear of his life. they are dangerous*

The airplane was in the air. We were steady at about fifty thousand feet, and I was opening my package of pretzels. I wish they would still give out peanuts, but so many are allergic to the wonderful legume. Ah well. i popped one in my mouth and imagined it to be a very crunchy nut.

[b]Sakura-[/b] "Wow..." I let Sakura have the window seat.

[b]Ryan-[/b] "Never been flying before?" She tugged her gaze away from the window and looked at me hapily.

[b]Sakura-[/b] "No. I've flown before... But never this high..." I leaned over and looked out the window. We were quite high above the ocean. I could see white-capped waves very faintly below. Even fainter were the gulls. We mst be nearing land.

[b]Ryan-[/b] "It is quite the sight. Are you hungry yet?" I eyed the stuardess moving up the first class aisle.

[b]Sakura-[/b] "What's on the menu?" I picked up the laminated piece of paper from the small pocket on the side of my seat.

[b]Ryan-[/b] "Ummmm... Potroast... A vegetarian dish... And a chefs salad. Anything catch your eye?" She shook her head. "Yeah. Me neither." Sakura went back to gazing out the window. The stuardess came up to our seats.

[b]Stuardess-[/b] "May I get you anything?" I smiled at her.

[b]Ryan-[/b] "Nope, we're fine." She nodded and contiued down the aisle. We'd be in Japan soon.

Damon is at the private airport at 1:00. as it draws steadily nearer 2, damon gets worried. where is Jin. he tries to be calm, but as it is they're going to be late. 1:30, 1:32, 1:36, 1:39, 1:43, 1:44, 1:51, 1:57 and here he is.

Damon- wher on earth have you been, we gotta dash!
Jin- well we had to take this massive detour throught no- man's land to get here- the road was blocked, there had been a crash.
Damon- oh ok, well we better get a move on!

Damon- a few snacks, but we wont stop until Berlin to refuel. we can eat then

[Size=3][Font=arial][color=dark-blue]OOC: Right behind ya' Baron, I was about to post when you posted before me so I had to do some modifications.^-^

Tas had never been in an airplane, and he was beginning to think he would never be in another one again. After the take-off then the mid flight turbelance(sp?), he was in pretty bad shape. Glad that he had brought some motion sickness pills with him, he took three hoping that wouldn't be enough to overdose him. Tas knew instantly knew when the pills kicked in, that maybe it was a tad too much, trying not to look to disoriented and out of it Tas turned his head toward the window and thought over what his trainer had told him. Go to the tournament in Japan and once there meet with the leader of the team Rampent Death, Damon, a muscular guy with black hair about 5'9 wears black clothes, of German/australian descent. And with another member of the team, Ryuujin Mouko a young guy with blue eyes light brown hair usually wearing a red vest and white tee. Laughing slightly he wondered if they knew what he really looked like, he was sure his trainer had bragged on him so he couldn't be so sure about what they heard about him was true. He himself was short only standing around 5 feet maybe an inch more, had spiked highlighted honey-brown hair with mismatched colored eyes one green the other blue and was wearing a black biker's jacket over a white tee and baggy jeans. Knowing his trainer Rick, they probably thought he was at least seven inches taller and big muscled. Just then the pills hit him with an extra punch, which was O.K. because he didn't think he could last six hours of the flight awake.

Shinzo looked around the airport.

Announcment: Flight 223 to the crystal wars is now baording.

Shinzo: That's me!

Shinzo rushed to gate 223. He waited in the line.

Girl: Hi!

Shinzo turned round. A girl with light blonde hair looked at him.

Shinzo: Ummm...

For once he wasn't being so up tight.

Girl: I'm Vicki (lol! half my name!). I know you! Your one of the guys competing in the wars! I'm going to watch!

Shinzo walked forward in the line.

Shinzo: I'm Shin...Shinzo. Bt just call me Shin. Nice to...meet you...

He held out his hand, Vicki held out hers and Shinzo smiled.

Vicki: You've never talked to a girl before. Am I right?

Shinzo blushed.

Shinzo: Ummm...

He walked up to the women at the gate and handed his ticket, Vicki did the same. Shinzo and Vicki walked onto the plane. They sat next too each other.

Vicki: Your a nice guy. I can't think of a guy like you fighting!

Shinzo: I'm not really this nice. Just to you. Your the first to shock me.

Shinzo shuved his bag over his head.

Shinzo: I hate taking off!
