OOC: The tournament's in Japan, right?

"Can't we go in now?" Quita was standing at the front door of their new home for the next few weeks. "Come on, you have a key, don't you?"
Kaya sighed. "Yes, but it wouldn't be polite to just barge into the house. I'm waiting for Ryan. If he's not here soon, then we'll go in and wait there. But we will not go into any of the rooms, understood? We're not at my house anymore."
"Fine," she answered. "Controlling b****," she muttered under her breath.
"I'm pretty sure Kaya can here you," Jon commented. "She might even kick you out of the house. This could end up like 'The Real World'! It could be every man for himself!"
Kaya put a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry Jon. I won't kick you out unless you do something incredibly stupid."
"Then someone better pack his bags..." Quita looked over at Jon.
"Hey look, there's Ryan and Sakura!" Glad for the distraction, Kaya got out her key and opened the doors for everyone.

OOC: If KnightOfTheRose or Ohkami want to add anything in between, feel free.

[Baron Samedi]

As Damon and Jin step onto the tarmac, the limousine pulls up to take them to the main airport to meet Tasrai. even in his half-asleep state Jin goes "WOW riding in style! this is awesome!!!" whereupon he promptly leaps into the limo and starts pressing all the buttons. Damon grins to himself.
"Hey Damon they have a TELEVISION IN HERE!!!!!"
Damon loads the last of his bags into the back of the limo and they head off to the main airport terminal to meet Tasrai.



Today there is a noticeably larger amount of Europeans among the Japanese tourists leaving/re-entering Japan.
"Must be all the competitiors arriving for next weeks games"
"Yeah- reckon we can beat them?"
"Always reckon you can beat them Jin- always think that you can"
"OK"

then they see this kid. he is staggering a bit and looks totally off his face. he is wearing a leather jacket over a white shirt, and baggy jeans. he is short and looks stoned. just as he passes them he almost trips over. Jin and Damon reach out and hold him up.
"Easy mate, what's your name?"
"..uuh..Tasrai..."
"Tasrai McNomell?" (excuse me if im spelling ya last name wrong)
"..yer.. thats me orright...tasrai mcomenel-or summin"

Jin and Damon look at each other over the kid's head.

This is Tasrai McNomell? Tasrai looks nothing like this!

(P.S- aYokano- where in --------- are you? im gonna be doing allya stuff soon. hurry up man!)

It suddenly clicked in Tasrai's brain on why he was at the airport and tried to focus on the two guys hovering inches over his head, he didn't even notice that they seemed to know his name.

[I]"Do ya' know whur I kan find.. uh... a Damon sumtin' Graff and a Ryuujin Mouko, would ya'"[/I] The two men looked at each other with questioning looks. Tasrai noticed that he probably looked out of things and tried to explain,

[I]"Did ya' know that if you took three motion sickness pills it take the whole flight crew to wake you up?"[/I] He smiled a friendly smile, if not a delirious one, before gathering up his backpack(never goes anywhere without his backpack) and his suitcase. The two men watched with amused expressions on their faces.

[I]"Didn't know that, well maybe ya' should try it. Anyways thanks for your....uh.. help and if ya's where I might find them, please tell me, and if you see them, tell em' Tasrai McMonell was a lookin' for them."[/I] Tasrai's speech was still somewhat messed up and slurred but his eyes were focusing and he didn't looked stoned anymore. One of the men with a black shirt said,

[I]"Well, I'm Damon de Graff and this is Ryuujin Mouko otherwise known as Jin and if you are really Tasrai McMonell then your our new team-mate,"[/I] Damon said with uncertainly

[I]"Well, of course I'm Tasrai McMonell it's on the tag on my suitcase, it's written on my backpack, and heres a letter from me trainer Rick."[/I] With that Tasrai pulled out the letter, which he had dug out of his back pack, and handed it over to Damon his new leader.[/Size][/Font][/Color]

[Corey]

The plane touched down and my stomach gave a lurch. Landings were far worse than takeoffs. You could see the ground flying towards you rather than watching it dissapear. I leaned forward and gripped my face. It was cold and clammy. Sakura looked over at me.

[b]Sakura-[/b] "Are you ok?" I nodded feverishly.

[b]Ryan-[/b] "Just a little motion sick... It'll pass when we get off the plane..." The gate was connected to the terminal and we departed. The airport looked crowded, even for an airport. There were far to many non-asian people to be normal. They must all be here for the tournament. I watched a man stumble past us looking quite high. I laughed to myself and led Sakura to the main concourse and then outside. A man was holding a sign that read 'Schezar'. I smiled and we walked over to him. My sickness had passed.

[b]Driver-[/b] "Mr Schezar?" I nodded. "Just to make sure, what kind of crytal do you have on?" I grinned. Security was already tight and the tournament hadn't even began.

[b]Ryan-[/b] "A Subsonic Crystal." I pulled it off of the neck ornament and showed it to him. He nodded and opened the door to the sleek black limo behind him. "Thankyou." We both climbed in and began our ride to the home of the Hyper Speed Knights.

[Vicky]

Shinzo and Vicki got off the plane.

Vicki: Wow! Japan is lovely! were are your team mate staying.

Shinzo: Dunno. I'm stayin' in this speical hotel for fighter in the tournament.

Shinzo walked outside of the airport. The cars wized past.

Vicki: Are we gonna walk there?

Shinzo: Walk there? You must be crazy!

Vicki smiled.

Shinzo: Where gonna run there!

He smiled. He began to run down the path. He kept a tight grip on his bag.

Shinzo: Come on!

He stopped.

Vicki: I'm just getting a ride.

Shinzo: Fine! I race you there.

Vicki: Were?

Shinzo: ust find a hotel with a speical place for fighters!

Vicki: Okay.

Shinzo: Bet you ten bucks I'll win!

Vicki: Your on!

[Corey]

The house was big, as was already stated, and there were three people that were sitting in front of it. I looked closely as we pulled up. They went inside. My heart lept into my throat. The door. It was unlocked. I had instructed the caretaker to leave it unlocked for us. Thieves... I silently began powering up my crystal. A thin whine filled the car. Sakura looked around confused.

[b]Sakura-[/b] "Ryan? What's going-" I sped out of the limo and entered the house before the door swung closed. Everything was moving in slow motion. I could see the three people. If they were thieves, the were very unskilled. I walked around them, my crystal at half power.

[b]Ryan-[/b] "****..." It echoed through the slowed world. The people were my friends. Kaya, Jon, and Quita. I walked back out to the car while powering down my crystal. Sakura saw me walking out of the house and looked back in the limo.

[b]Sakura-[/b] "Wha? How?" I flicked my crystal and grabbed her bags out of the trunk. I felt very bad for confusing my own teammate with a thief. God, how could I be so stupid? Oh well... I walked into the house, for the second time.

[b]Ryan-[/b] "Hello? Anyone here?"

[Baron Samedi]

(OOC: what does OOC mean?)

Damon opens the letter. it says.

"The bearer of this letter is Tasrai McMonell, Team: Rampant Death
Team Leader: Damon Graff.
Contact: Rick Matthews, (0403 5612 6230), Trainer

Signed: Rick Matthews" followed by his signature.

Damon- well Tasrai, im pleased to meet you. do you need some help with your luggage, we have a car waiting out side to take us to the hotel. i was going to request private residence, but who can resist a hotel. with all the little gadgets they have in the rooms. i love hotels. *Damon bends down, grabs the rest of Tasrai's luggage and heads for the doors*
Jin- Tasrai. when he says car, he means LIMO! isnt that cool? im lovin the limo- it has buttons, and Tv and coke...........
*Tasrai and Jin hurry after Damon*

Jin- this room is soooo cool. we get rooms to ourselves!- ooooooh minibar!

*dives in*

Damon-Don't you love hotels Tasrai? their awesome.
Tasrai- yeah, well ill probably appreciate it more in the morning. a good nights rest and ill be way better in the morning. Night y'all.
Damon- Night Tasrai.
Jin- Ngyte Tesrfgghghai! *spoken through food*
Damon- im off too Jin. sleep well.
Jin- Ngyte Dafghgmon! *spoken through food*

[Eclectic]

Kaya had seen the flash of someone running into the open door. Hopefully, Jon and Quita hadn't. Trying to act natural, she smiled.
"Hi Ryan. We got here a little early and decided to wait inside. Sorry if you were a little worried. This is a nice place though. It's much better than home." She began to worry a bit. If that really was Ryan, she hoped he didn't expect her to be that fast. She turned her attention to the other person with him.
"You must be Sakura. I'm Kaya. This is Quita and this is my boyfriend, Jon."
"Hi, nice to meet you." Jon walked up to her and shook hands. Quita just looked from Ryan to Sakura, a little confused. She had obviously seen him too. She walked over to her.
"Play nice, Quita. And don't worry about what you saw. It was just the wind." She relaxed a little and started talking to Sakura. Happier now that everyone had met, she let go of some of her tension. It was starting to feel like a block of ice.

[Vicky]

Shinzo came to the hotel he was stayin' at. He panted. Vikci was sat on the steps.

Vicki: I've been waiting!

She giggled.

Shinzo: So what I lost TEn quid! Big deal!

Vicki laughed.

Vicki: I still won!

Shinzo: So?!

[Tasrai]

Tasrai awoke refreashed and not drowsy, finally the pills had eased off, and he could enjoy his surroundings. Curiosity hit Tas hard and he was off exploring. Afterriding the elevator for the tenth time and walking all the level from below them up to theirs his stomach growled. Still wearing his plaid pajama pants and his tight tee-shirt which showed Tas did have muscles and quite a few. Tas knocked on Jin's door, and had to wait a few minutes as Jin got dressed. Then they went over to Damon's room next door. They knocked on his door, there were heard some muffled sounds then the door opened, Damon stood there looking bleary eyed but dressed. He squinted into the air above Tas's head looking for who had knocked, he saw Jin first then saw Tas.

Damon: What is this a waking crew?
Tas: No, we're here to take you down to breakfast.
Jin: yeah so let's get going I'm starving.

They rode the elevator down to the lobby, where the hotel was serving breakfast. A waiter named Jenny came to their table,

Jenny: You guys decided on what ya' want yet.
Damon, Jin and Tas looked from to another then Tas started first.
Tas: Yes, I want some sausage, eggs, two biscuits, a glass of milk and some french toast.
Jenny: O.K., somebody's hungry at least.
She nodded her head to some other tables where all the people had ordered was cofee.
Tas: Well, I didn't eat anything yesterday, planes don't like me.
Jenny smiled, then looked to Jin and Damon for their orders.

[Baron Samedi]

Damon- well, lets see. i am always really hungry, so best for a big brekkie before some sightseeing and then some team training

*Jin and Tasrai groan*

so ill have the blueberry pancakes with maple syrup, two jacket potatoes, a bowl of porridge with honey and... ooh what about those sausages and fried eggs on toast. Please.And a cup of coffee. Please. What do you want Jin?

Jin- ill just have a cup of coffee thanks.

Damon- you'll be havin more than that

Jin- ok make that a cup of coffee and... ill have sausages and eggs on toast as well.

Jenny- will that be all.

*Damon stops scanning the menu*

Damon- aaah no, could i please have some french toast as well?

Jenny- sure sir. *then turns to the other two* is he ok to be eating that much?

[Nightwing]

Ryu and his mother had a big fight that night he came in late. She ended but the continued it in the next morning.

Ryu: Mom how can you do this to me crystal fighting is my life. I have to be in the tournament tomorrow.

Mom: NO!! How can you suspect to be in the tournament after your teacher called me yesterday telling me that you where failing and not only that but you walked out of his class? What is that about, that's not you.

Ryu: Mom he don't like me.

Mom: Here we go with that again. Ryu you have not been the same since you started fighting. You know I don't like you doing it but we made a deal. Your school first then you could fight. But since you are failing you can't fight.

Ryu: Mom please this is my life I have to fight. It's something I'm good at.

Mom: No you well not fight and that's finial as long as you stay in my house you'll do as I say. Now you grandfather is waiting for you at the shop. You better leave now if you don't want to be late.

Ryu just looked at his mother for a while and then walked out the room and grabbed his stuff and walked out the house headed to his grandfather's shop. As he was walking he was thinking about what happened last night. All these years he thought that it was him that had all the power but all along it was his crystal that gave him all his power. Now come to find out there's might something behind crystal fighting. All the thinking he was doing made the walk faster to Ryu he was at his grandfather's shop in no time. He walked in and saw his grandfather sweeping. He walked over and grabbed the broom.

Ryu: I'll do this for you popa.

Grandfather: Oh think you. Your early today. Did you see the paper? Your the number one crystal fighter in Japan. So are you going to win this tournament tomorrow?

Ryu: I would like to say yes but Mom won't let me fight this year cause of my school teacher.

Grandfather: Oh him again. I see he is still upset about the lose you handed him. It's a shame that you are not going to be in the tournament this year me and some friends had a bet going on. Oh well maybe next year. (His grandfather then started walking towards the back room) Oh yea there's a package for you on in the back on the desk.

Ryu thought to himself who would send him a package to his grandfather's shop. As he walked to the back he saw a box shape package on the desk with his name on there. On top was a letter.

[I] " A gift from me to you. Use it wisely."

From a Friend.."[/I]

Ryu opened the package and there was an Inferno crystal inside. Ryu was shocked that it wasn't his. "Inferno this not my type of crystal. Well, I guess it's better then nothing. I'm going to do a lot of work if I want to win this tournament.[I] " A gift from me to you. Us it wisely."[/I]

[Tasrai]

Tasrai smiled at Jenny and answered.

Tasrai: Yeah, he'll be O.K., I think I want some porridge also with lots of brown sugar and some pancakes, no syrup, could you do that please?

Jenny looked him over, surely thinking about how someone that little could eat that much, but she added it.

Jenny: Sure I can do that.

Then she walked off, Tasrai looked at Damon with a surprised look, here was someone who can eat. Damon looked at hiim equally surprised, but not for the same reason.

Damon: No Syrup? Yuck, I couldn't stand that.

Tas: I know, it is weird, but I just like it. Besides what's all this about team training and sight seeing?

Jin: Don't get him started.

Damon: You'll see.

Tasrai didn't like the sound of that but ignored it as he saw Jenny coming back with trays of food. Geez that was fast! She set down the food and flashed a smile.

Jenny: Let me know if you need anything else

Tas: O.K.

Tasrai watched Jenny walk off then looked down at his food and picking up his fork he began.

After Damon, Ji and Tasrai finish their meal they head back to their rooms.

Damon- Jin, Tasrai, we will be training after sightseeing so have a change of clothes with you. we will be going to the movies tonight, straight after training.
Jin, Tasrai- 'Kay

Tasrai- so where are we going?
Damon- well i am not entirely sure. there must be some pretty cool places around here. i mean it is Tokyo.*several seconds of silence* there must be heaps of shops and videogame parlours and... food outlets! ooh and i know- i have always wanted to see one of those old castles that the shoguns used to live in! we will visit one of those! sounds pretty good? what do you guys want to do?
Jin- videogame parlours. cool
Tasrai- castles would be pretty cool. i like videogames as well. but what i am most interested in is the team training you mention. Where will that be held? what is it?
Damon- ill explain on the way to Virtuaburb
Jin- Virtuaburb?
Damon- uuh yeah. it is this suburb in the city which is basically all video game places and whatever.
Jin- cool.

*they flag down a cab*

Damon-team training is something that only a few teams use. you know about team fights, and single fights Tasrai, right?
Tasrai-*nods*
Damon- well in a team fight things can get messy. so there are a few... special...expensive, places where one can train with your team. we will be versing holo-forcefield- opponents. they will attack you, but you will not recieve severe harm from them. these...places... are so that you can get a rythm with your team. a flow. establish maneuvres and assess skills. work out who does what. i myself have seen two team trainings, and participated in one. the improvement is astounding. but they are expensive, so only richly backed teams will be able to afford the use of such facilities. and appropriate contacts are required. one thing i must mention. do not speak to any people that you see there. it is a very private place.... however moving onto more happy ideas, where shall we go first. the virtual reality joint, or the traditional gaming saloon?

I am full aware that i am risking he mod rod...:modrod: ... for this- but it is my first RPG and i want it to continue...:( ...please dont yell at me....:confused: i have the best intentions!

OOC: I have been gone but now I'm back. I'm going to get back on the post and start up the tournament. I should have me post up by 12.

OOC: Sorry, sorry... I've been sorting stuff out and such.

[b]Ryan-[/b] "Ok then." Everyone had met eachother. "Let me give you the tour. This was my parents vaction house when they were my age. It's been sitting here for about eighty years and has only needed minor repairs. This is one of two bathrooms. It has a bath and shower, a toilet and two sinks. This room over here was going to be your room, Kaya, but since Jon came along you two get the adjoining rooms upstairs. This will be my room. Um..." I opened a door. "Oh! This is one of the storage rooms. Forgot about that..." I closed the door quickly. It had actually been my parents room. They had died about ten years ago. "Let's go upstairs. You've already seen the entranceway and the living room." The staircase curved up to the second floor. We stepped off. "Down this side will be Quitas room and Sakuras. You can sort out who get's which later, they're both the same. Down here," I led them down the hallway, "is Jon and Kayas rooms. There is a door connecting the two inside, and here is the second bathroom. It also has two sinks, and a toilet. It has two cosed off showers aswell. That just about raps up the tour. The kitchen is a modest one and I'll probably be cooking all the meals. I'll leave you guys to get coordinated while I take care of a little buisiness." I smiled and walked back downstairs. The tournament was looming. There were preparations to be done.

Just wondering. this guy is going to try and kill us all? will we even be in any tournaments? or do we end up figting a bunch of miscellaneous bad guys? coz in recruiting you said that the maker was getting all the best together so he could kill us...

[Nightwing]

OOC: There well be two tournaments. The first one we well do. After the tournament that's when miscellaneous bad guys well show up. Then I tell more about what's going on. Then we well all later have to come together as one big team to survive.


It was finally the day of the tournament. Ryu had made it there without his mother knowing and his new found crystal. He wasn't to sure how he was going to do in the tournament without his crystal. But he was being tested. In order for him to get what is his he needs to become more powerful the right way. He began walking around looking at all the people who had signed up. Some he remembered others he had never seen. He was finally about to sign up him self but he couldn't because his team mates wasn't there. So he went off looking for them.

OOC: I know its sort but I trying to get thing back up and running since I been gone.
