Hmmm..... I think a couple of animes have great music, such as:
1.Rurouni Kenshin's Sobakasu and Heart of Sword.
2.Rave Master's Rave-olution
3.Cowboy Bebop's Tank
4.After watching three seasons of Digimon with the same theme song it's kinda grown on me :D
5.Megas XLR has a great theme song
6.Dirty Pari Flash's theme and end song
7.Slayer's Breeze and the other theme to
8.Dual:Parrallel Trouble Adventure's theme and end song.
9. Inuyasha themes and endings
10. Dragonball's end song

I enjoyed the music from Kingdom Hearts. I think the Final Fantasy series have pretty good music as well.

I hate:
1.ALL of the Pokemon theme songs
2.Dragon Ball Z theme song.

Yup, yup.

Well personally I think the best anime music you usually hear comes from the Gundam Franchise...they tend to produce some of the best opening and closing theme songs of all time, and continue the tradition by signing popular artist to their titles. Another franchise that I think has a great line of music is from Yu-Gi-Oh despite the quirkness of the songs the last two openings Heros and Overlap are just great.

best videogame music ever...final fantasy 7 9 10 and 10-2 (in the fareplane glen and kuon:memories of waves and light) 7 was great i loved vincent's and aeris' theme, I can even play them on the piano, however the only problem i have with it is that there never used real intruments like the piano or violin eveything was made on the computer or some keyboared. As for Nine i liked song of memories...when i first listened to it i didn't play the game for an hour, I just left it idol so i could listen to the music. 10 I liked it all!!! there are no songs from that game that stand out in my mind except for To Zanarkand. 10-2 almost all the songs where so childish there only songs i liked would've been from the onse I have mentioned earilier.

As for anime series inu yasha and escaflowne stand out in my mind.

I also think Kingdom Hearts has some of the best music. I have the two-disc soundtrack in Japanese and it mainly has the background music for the different worlds, but it also has music from the movie scenes and the opening theme and ending theme. Not to mention, the orchestral version of the ending theme. It's called "Simple and Clean" in English, but "Hikari" in Japanese. The lyrics to "Hikari" when translated, however, are actually totally different lyrics than "Simple and Clean." Just an interesting fact.

Dunno' if anyone has mentioned it yet... and while I've read many of the posts... I don't remember seeing it:

Ghost in the Shell: StandAlone Complex Episodes. My god - the score for those babies are fantastic! The music is intertwined with the visuals so spectacularly well - it only helps to draw you in to the events unfolding before you.

I like the ending themes to Furi Kuri, Gundam Seed, Cowboy Bebop, all of the ending themes to Inuyasha and Rurouni Kenshin. I also like anything from Yoko Kanno like Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain, Escaflowne, and Turn A Gundam. Yoko Kanno is definately one of my favorite composers. I also like the music from .hack/sign because it can be very melancholy sometimes. For video games, I think Nobuo Uematsu makes the best stuff, especially "One-winged angel", the final boss from FFVIII, "Eyes on me", and that electric guitar song from FFX. And I like that song from the Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust trailer by Do as Infinity, does anyone know the name of the song?

I have a lot of favorite soundtracks from anime and games. My favorites would have to be .hack//sign, Galerions:Rion, Evangelion,Naruto, and FLCL. I liked .hack//sign because it mixed trance with classicial(spelling?). Galerions:Rion was total heavy metal. Naruto was a mix of quite a few types of music. FLCL, no comment.
*LOL* Those were my favorites.

I love all the Inuyasha songs but, dearest it my fave I love that song.I think that good music from the start and end of a anime makes it even better.I like the song for Vandread Justice they play that one at the start of the show. And it fits so nice with it too.I like Sobakasu from Rurouni Kenshin thats a good lift me up song.Betterman I like the song for that one to but, I can't remember the name something like Requilem or something.I think a guy sings it,its starts out kinda smooth and then gets rough, but it fits the show very nicely.

My fave theme song is through the night on outlaw star and for an ending song the real folk blues on cowboy bebop, i don't know why, u just realy think that they are my fave.

My least fave anime theme song is the weird flash gordon like theme song from big o, i just don't like it, and the ending theme song with the man and women singing, i just find that bit annoing

It's a no-brainer. Cowboy Bebop has the best music of any anime series. How I know? It's only only anime series I've ever watched and thought, "I have to see if the soundtrack is available to buy". 'Tank!' is not only the best anime theme tune ever, it's one of my favourite tunes, full stop.

While on the subject of music, does anyone else think 'Fly Me to the Moon' seems a little out of place as the closing theme for Neon Genesis Evangelion? It doesn't seem to fit with the general gloomy mood of the series, and lyrically it doesn't seem relevant. But that might just be me.

I think Final Fantasy has the best music especially eyes on me from FFVIII and Real Emotion and 1000 Words from FFX-2.As for anime I'm quite fond of the music from Inuyasha, it does kind of grow on you, and the music from Ninja Scroll, the girls music is quite enchanting. I really like them because they match the game/anime so well, if it didn't it would make the anime a lot worse.

I think Gundam, and Inuyasha have the best music....For those of you who have seen Inuyasha...you'll know what Im talking about. The three best songs are Fuki Mori...My Will....and Every Heart. Gundam Wing has the best opening!!!! And 08th MS Team has good music too.

I would have to say that I like both the .Hack//Sign and Inuyasha music form the shows, both have awsome song either its techno or a slow song. Like "Every Heart" is a very good song from Inuyasha (I think the 4th season ending theme song) and "Obsession" for the .Hack//Sign for the ending theme. Both very good in their own ways :D

Hey out there, I have something on my mind. I've been watching some anime and I've been hooked since Speed Racer. I've seen a lot snice then. One of my fave is Fooly Cooly. I also enjoy the theme song. My anime J-pop list contains song from the DB series, Fooly Cooly, Bubblegum Crisis, even Vandread. I just wanted to know if any one else had a anime song they enjoy.

Do look up Full Metal Alchemist if you're into songs with, um, happy beats (like me!). Think 1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou from Ruruoni Kenshin. I especially like Melissa by Porno Graffiti and Ready Steady Go by L'Arc-en-Ciel

It's been months since I first heard Gackt's "Tsuki no Uta" from Texhnolyze yet I never grow tired of hearing it. It starts with a lone acoustic guitar and as the song progresses, other string instruments join in. The song starts and ends quietly, most deserving of its title which translates to moon ballad/song.

Serial Experiments Lain has a great theme song, but the lyrics can get depressing sometimes :(

"Tank!", hands down, is the greatest theme song to an anime. It gets me so pumped up to watch "Cowboy Bebop". Then it is in my head for about, oh, let's say, 3 weeks?

Hellsing's is another great theme, too. That little scat part at the end is awesome. The bass lines rule, too 'cuz they're so heavy.

I'm obsessed with Naruto's soundtrack, but mainly the opening and ending themes... all of them... so yummy. "Haruka Kanata" by Asian Kung-Fu Generation, "Wind" by Akeboshi, "GO!!!" by Flow, "Ryuusei" by TiA, et cetera. Great music to match an awesome anime.

The music you're hearing in Furi Kuri is by the Pillows, one of my favorite bands, hands down. FLCL's OST's are mostly comprised of Pillows' music from their older albums (dee-lish), which were recycled in a sense. Just thought I'd let ya know.

I love the opening and ending themes to Final Fantasy: Unlimited. Over the Fantasy and VIVID are fantastic to listen to, even though the series wasn't entirely amazing. There's just something about them that's... better than your average song, you know?

The .hack//SIGN songs are great to listen to, as well. I like the style that Emily Bindiger sings in- In the Land of Twighlight, Under the Moon is my favourite there.

The Zoids, Evangelion and Outlaw Star songs are good too, except Aisha's character theme (on the first OST). That's one track I skip every single time. From what I have of the Fullmetal Alchemist songs they seem really cool, but the TV edits are cut too short for my liking >.>

My favorite anime songs. Hmm.
My top would have to be the song that the character Lackis Clyne sings in Gundam Seed.
My next favorite is the Inuyasha song "Every Heart".
I also like any song in a foreign language, mostly Japanese or German(long story). Even though I can't understand the words, the way they go along with the music can tell you what the song means, you know? You should listen to German rock translated! It can be hilarious!

PS: The whole deal with the signature I have is a story I've written called Fallen Angel. :demon:
