RPG Megaman Battle Network: The New Net Navi's

"I guess so," Kaya said skeptically. She still couldn't see what was wrong. She knew, or at least had met, almost everyone here. Who would want to do anything to them?
"You should listen, ya know." She pulled out her PET to see Phoenix glaring at her. "When someone gives you advice, you should take it, no matter how stupid it may sound to you."
"I never thought their advice was anything but overly cautious. Can't you give me the benefit of the doubt here?"
"No. You weren't gonna take their advice and you were just gonna fight the way you wanted to. While I don't object, it is kinda odd that all of you would be fighting at the same time but not together."
"I guess so." She sighed. [i]Now, I have to try to think up a new strategy before each battle. This is gonna be real fun...[/i]

[Hittokiri Zero]

Seta had slipped away from the pack and now found himself standing in front of two large sliding doors on them in big yellow letters read "Arena 13".

Seta- "Well I guess this is it... Burst you ready for this?"

Burst- Ready as i'll ever be Seta.

Seta approached the two doors and they opened. He walked inside and the doors closed behind him. Seta looked around, in the middle of the room was a large disk shaped table with various jacks for Net Navis and across for him... across from Seta stood a black haired boy man with a PET in hand this would be Seta's first opponent.

Seta- "Hey there!"

???- "Your late"

Seta- "Ah come on man give me a break, what's a few minutes to you."

???- "Shut up."

Seta- "..."

???- "The time for talk is over, what ever you have to say to me you can say through battle".

Seta- "All right, your asking for it! I'm about to redefine the menaing of pain!!!"

???- "Heh... We'll see about that."

???- "Swordman jack in!"

OOC: Swordman is a made up character >_>".

Seta- "Burst jack in!"

The two instantly pull out their cyber cables and shove them into one of the phone jacks. A scaled down projection (Projection of Net Navi's isn't life-size) of both their Net Navis then appear suspended above the circular table.

Seta- "Dam*, this is off the hook"

???- "Let's begin."

Seta- "All right.. Burst you know the strategy! Let's go!"

With those commands Burst immediatly took off towards Swordman, like Swordman Burst was the type of Netnavi who preffered to use swords to fight rather than projectile based weapons. Burst activated the buster sword on his right arm and a laser like sword appeared, he then continued to run at Swordman at full speed. But something was wrong Swordman was just standing there he hadn't moved an inch since the battle had begun...

Burst- "If your just going to stand there like that there's no way you can defeat me, I'm not a second rate Net Navi!

Burst pulled his arm back and them shot it forward in a thrusting motion his laser sword went straight through Swordman, or so he thought...

The Swordman which Burst had attacked, suddenly dissapeared.

Burst- "What the..."

Swordman had cast a duplicate of himself... but by the time Burst figured it out it was too late...

Swordman was already behind Burst and unleashed a fury of blows with his Katana-like sword. The impact from the attacks sent Burst spiraling up into the air, Swordman then jumped up to meet Burst only to send him back to the ground with a complete round-house kick.

Burst hit the ground with a ear-deafening thud. He slowly got to his feet and stared straight ahead at Swordman.

Burst- "That was a cheap trick"

Swordman- "... There was nothing cheap about it. A true warrior uses more than just his physical skill to defeat his opponent."

Meanwhile, Akira and Will had ran off to in search of their arenas... As they ran they both stopped in front of a T.V. only to witness Swordman's devastating attack on Burst.

Will- "Come on Seta you can beat this guy. You've just gotta out think him that's all."

Akira- "Come on Will were going to be late!"

Will- "Right"

and with that the two continued to run through the corridors in search of their Battle Arenas.

[Revelation]

When Akira got to her Arena, her opponent looked a lot like Miss Millions. She was tall, skinny, had long blonde hair, wore designer brand pants and shirt and she wore a designer brand over shirt.

[B]???:[/B] Good, you're here.
[B][COLOR=silver]Akira:[/B] First of all. I'd like to know, who you are.[/COLOR]
[B]Dupla:[/B] The name's Dupla Millions. My aunt is known as Miss Millions. Now let's battle. Gatorman, Jack in!
[B][COLOR=silver]Akira:[/B] Athena! Jack in![/COLOR]

Akira and Dupla pulled out the cable lines and jacked in. A projection appeared with Athena and Gatorman. Dupla attacked first.

[B]Dupla:[/B] Gatorman, Blade Tail battle chip... in!
[B]Gatorman:[/B] Gator Gator! GROAR! *HISS* Blade Tail! I am gonna slash you up.
[B][COLOR=deeppink]Athena:[/B] I don't think so.[/COLOR]

Gatorman grabbed his tail and twisted out a blade. He ran towards Athena, who merely stood there. Until the last moment she jumped into the air and used Electro Cannon.

[B][COLOR=silver]Akira:[/B] Electro Cannon Battle chip, IN![/COLOR]
[B][COLOR=deeppink]Athena:[/B] Hah! ELECTRO CANNON! FIRE![/COLOR]

An electric bomb was fired at Gatorman and shocked him. Dupla stared in surprise. Akira knew that Dupla was probably working for someone, so she had to win.

[Eclectic]

Kaya looked at her watch. If she didn't run, she'd late for her first battle! She ran along the corridor of doors leading into different arenas. She looked up at the screen above the door leading to Seta's match. He wasn't looking very good, but she knew he'd still win. She hurriedly opened the door to her arena and step in. Across the table stood her first opponent, a tall, dark haired boy named Malik. He had beaten her then, but he wasn't going to win now.
"I remember you. I thought your name looked familiar. Haven't I beaten you already?"
"Shut up and fight me. Phoenix, jack in!"
"Ready to lose? Ares, jack in!"
They pulled out their cables and jacked in. Both Phoenix and a tall Navi that looked very much like Malik himself appeared in the scaled projection. As much as she wanted to strike first, Kaya held back, waiting to see what he would do.
"Ares, Dark Sword battle chip in!" Ares sneered as a long, black colored sword appeared in his hand. He began to charge at Phoenix. She and Kaya simply smiled.
"Phoenix, Flaming Sais battle chip in!"
"Thanks, Kaya." Phoenix deflected Ares' slash with one sai and slashed at him with the other. She missed, but it still had the desired effect. Malik stared at her.
"You couldn't do that before!"
"That's what improvements are for." She smiled sweetly at him. She was pretty sure she'd win this.

[Hittokiri Zero]

Back in Arena 13 the battle between Burst and Swordman raged on...

Seta- "Crap this isn't working."

???- "Of course it's not working Swordman is just to strong"

Seta- "Grr... That does it! Cyber Knives Battle Chip in! Upload!

Burst- Thanks Seta these are just what the doctor ordered.

Swordman- Hah you plan to fight the master of swords with mere knives? pathetic.

Swordman draws the second sword from his back and takes off towards Burst, this time in a reversal of roles Burst is the one standing there calm and unwavering.

???- Swordman what are you doing hold back!

Seta- It's too late now, time for Swordman to get a taste of his own medicine. Burst go!

Burst- I'm going in!

Just as Swordman reaches within striking distance of Burst, Burst quickly performs a number of short side steps which lead him behind Swordman, Burst then lunges forward and with his knive in hand makes two large X-shaped slashes on Swordman's back. Burst quickly jumps backwards and away from Swordman and watches as Swordman falls to one knee.

Swordman- Clever... You knew you were unable to match me in power so you decided to sacrafice your strength and use your knives to increase your speed. But why don't we end this? Kyoji!

Seta looks across the room and stares at his opponent...

Seta- So that's his name Kyoji...

Kyoji- All right Swordman here it comes! Zet-Saber battle chip in! UPLOAD!

Seta- What the?!?! Did he say Zet-Saber... No way out of all the NetNavi battles i've been in to date i've been the only one with the Zet-Saber battle chip... too weird...

Kyoji- I'm growing tired of this Swordman the two of you can't keep trading blows forever now that you have your Zet Saber finish him!

Seta- Not so fast, I think I should even the odds! Zet-Saber battle chip in upload!

Kyoji- What?! He has one to!

Seta- Surprised?

Burst and Swordman stood facing one, each of them holding their own Zet-Saber. While Burst's saber emmited a green glow, Swordman's let off a blue one.

Swordman- Ready?

Burst- Hah... Yeah i'm ready, ready to defeat you.

Swordman- Is that so? Well i'm not holding back any longer, so we'll see who'll be victorious!

Swordman and Burst take off from their starting positions and run directly at each other both of them weilding their Zet-Sabers with skill and preparing for what could very well end this NetNavi Battle...

[Revelation]

Athena blocked and fought off Gatorman. Akira looked on in surprise. She then got out another battle chip.

[B][COLOR=silver]Akira:[/B] Athena, I think you might need this! Goddess of War's Sword battle chip in![/COLOR]

Athena then received a broadsword that was silver all over. She ran towards Gatorman and slashed at his blade tail. It cut off. He screamed in pain. Then she used her Electron Cannon and shot one more time. Dupla used a shield. It bounced off.

[Kaede-san]

[color=black][size=1]Seiki watched Seta's battle and Akira's at the same time.

"Whoa... who knew these guys where so good at this..." Seiko said.His dog ears moved up and down as his eyes lit up.

"Down boy... it isn't over till it's over..." Seiki said.

Suddenly Seiki noticed a list upon the wall.She walked to it and realized she was to be in arena 17 in no more than 2 minutes.

"WHAT!?" Seiki yelled as she ran to her arena as fast as she could, she ran into the arena panting like mad as she sat down.

A shadow cast as she looked up to see a tall black haired boy.

"What do YOU want eh?" Seiki asked.She counted her fingers.

"Heh, YOU'RE my opponent?..." He asked.

"Yeah what of it?"

"Nothing... just that you're no match to go up against a pro like me..."

"OH YEAH! YOU WANNA EAT YOUR OWN TEETH BUDDY!?" Seiki asked.

"... Silence... save the poor insults for our battle... good luck... Sissy" The boy said as he walked away slowly approaching the arena.

"Feh! you can kiss my..."

"Now Seiki... harsh words won't work... UNLESS YOU SAY IT TO HIS FACE! LET ME AT HIM LET'S GO!!!" Seiko said as he began to growl in fury.

"Well Seiko, get ready... cause we're up now" Seiki said as she walked into the arena halls and out onto the arena.

[color=darkblue]"Well, well, Sissy showed up" The boy said.[/color]

[b]"See my hand?" Seiki asked.[/b]

[color=darkblue]"No, it's inside your sleeve" He replied.[/color]

[b]"Good... that means you can't see which finger I'm holding up right now..."[/b]

[color=darkblue]"Oh please... now, ready Sissy?" he asked.[/color]

[b]"Mmm hmm..." Seiki replied.[/b]

The two instantly pull out their cyber cables and place them into one of the phone jacks in front of them. A projection of both their Net Navis then appeared above a circular table.

Suddenly two holographic (Non Life-size) versions of the two Net Navis appeared.

[b]"Seiko, jack in!" Seiki yelled.[/b]

[color=darkblue]"Nightstance, jack in!" He yelled.[/color]

[b]"Ohh, look, Seiko is so... holography!" Seiki said as Seiko looked to her blankly with embarrasment.[/b]

[color=red]Seiko: T_T[/color]

[b]"Sorry" Seiki said.[/b]

[color=darkblue]"Nightstance, you're chance!" He yelled.[/color]

[color=green]"Right Alan" Nightstance yelled as he ran at Seiko who sat there and stared at Seiki.[/color]

[b]"SEIKO!" Seiki yelled as she pointed.[/b]

Seiko turned as quickly as he could but it was too late.Nightstance threw a fist as him and threw Seiko across the holographic field.

[color=red]"AUUGGH! that was a cheap shot Nightstance..." Seiko said.[/color]

His ears lowered.

[b]"Flamethrower battle chip in, UPLOAD!" Seiki yelled as Seiko looked at his right hand blankly.[/b]

[color=red]"MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! BURN YOU!" Seiko yelled as he took his right hand and began roasting on Nightstance who jumped up after being burned to avoid any future attacks from it.[/color]

[color=red]"What now eh?" Seiko asked.[/color]

[color=green]"Fool! you're mine! hehe, Alan!" Nightstance said.[/color]

[color=darkblue]"Flame Dragon gun battle chip in!, UPLOAD!" Alan yelled.[/color]


[color=green]"Fire dragon!" Nightstance said as he took his left arm.A large gun was there in place of his hand.[/color]

Nightstance shot it at Seiko and when he did the blast turned into a raging dragon head that went straight for Seiko.

[color=red]"AHHHHHH!" Seiko screamed as he looked to Seiki.[/color]

[b]"Bunny ears battle chip in!, UPLOAD!" Seiki yelled as Seiko then appeared with two white bunny ears in place of his dog ears.[/b]

Seiko jumped up and found himself high in the sky.

[color=red]"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!?" Seiki asked.[/color]

[b]"You can jump higher and run faster" Seiki replied"[/b]

[color=darkblue]"You're such a nuisance!" Alan yelled as he watched Nightstance's attack fly right by.[/color]

[b]"ha Alan, I one more blow and you're done!"[/b]

[b]"My brother had better be watching this!" Seiki said to herself as she watched Seiko carfully.[/b][/color][/size]

[Revelation]

Athena jumped out of the way, but not fast enough. It singed her arm. She looked at it and saw that Gatorman was laughing his cut off tail. She glared and caused some sort of static around herself. Akira watched not knowing what was to happen. All around the arena, everything was statiy. No one could see what was happening. Not even Gatorman. He looked around in fear. Akira saw a message and it said to put in the Double Swords, but say something else, it wasn't against the rules... only part of a strategy. So Akira took out Double Swords, but said something else.

[B][COLOR=silver]Akira:[/B] Alright Dupla! Get ready to be blown away! Electron Cannon battle chip in![/COLOR]
[B]Dupla:[/B] Oh no you don't. Gatorman, lay low to the ground.

Gatorman layed low to the ground and Athena got her Double Swords. She started spinning them, faster and faster and faster as they went. She pulled the two swords apart and slashed them at the ground. The spinning caused the slashes to grind against the floor and hit Gatorman causing him to go off-line. The static disappeared. Gatorman lay on the ground, then the sign "Gatorman Off-Line" appeared. Dupla stood there amazed and jealous.

[B]Dupla:[/B] Fine. You win. See you in the finals... if you get there.

Dupla took out the net cable and grabbed her PET and left. Akira did the same as well. She went to the place where the four of them were supposed to meet after their battle. She sat down and looked Athena over.

[B][COLOR=silver]Akira:[/B] I knew I made a good decision. Actually my father did.[/COLOR]
[B][COLOR=deeppink]Athena:[/B] Hey, they don't call me Athena, the goddess of war and wisdom for nothing.[/COLOR]
[B][COLOR=silver]Akira:[/B] That's true. How's your arm?[/COLOR]

Athena healed it in no time. Akira sat there happily.
