Epitome
I was searching for a thread on this and couldnt find one so I thought Id make one. I love the game and all the aspects of it. It has great graphics and awesome stunts that you can do. I love jumping up and coming down slashing an enemy with a sword or shooting them with your guns. The game is an all time favorite for me. Did you guys, who have played it, like or dislike it. Why or Why not.
DarkSage
I like it very much its a fun game yeah I love to run on the walls and flip over people then kill em heh. The girl forgot her name is good too like that they had a seperate disc for her although she is funny looking in her devil trigger runs like a chicken. Devil May Cry 2 is a good game its just to short and easy like the first one really anyway thats my opinion.
GrimmFang
I like Devil May Cry 2 a lot some of the new moves they added are very use full like the air combo and the dodge button. Their are only two things I dislike about it though. One the difficulty is a joke Dante Must Die mode is nowhere near as hard as the first one's. Two Arius is such a wimp their are women cooler than he is he's a joke. Yeah he could probably waste me in real life but he never had a chance against Dante. Epitome
I have to agree with you guys on the difficulty level but otherwise, I think its an awesome game.
Charles
Oh man, I'm going to have to smack you across the face again, Hataki and knock some sense into you. These opinions just will not do. lol Kidding aside, I'm glad that you guys found some enjoyment in the game. Personally, I was very disappointed. It's one of the very few sequels in recent memory that was inferior to its predecessor in almost every way possible (the only other one that comes to mind right now is Sonic Adventure 2). For some reason, I just didn't find the game enjoyable. The level designs were poor, the camera was too far removed from the action, and the storyline was terrible. Where did Dante's trademark attitude go? If anything, I'd probably prefer to try Chaos Legion instead. It's said to have it's share of problems, but it looks promising. Epitome
Im gonna have to smack you some sense Charles...:). I dont get it, how did you not like the game. I loved it except for the difficulty of it. WAY too easy. Other than that, I thought it was great.
AzureWolf
I think you need to have played the original to understand where Charles is coming from. I too was disappointed by the gameplay and story. I know people were complaining about the difficulty of the original DMC, but I welcomed it: it was nice to play a 3-D game that gave me the challenge of old school games. Anyway, I could understand that people were complaining about the difficulty, but Capcom didn't have to rub it in our faces with the easiest game ever concocted (probably the easiest)! Oh man, the story was a hoot. I think it was supposed to be a comedy. You start out knowing nothing, then there's a special stone. THEN there's a ritual! THEN, to top it all off, the badguys need to finish that ritual before the full moon (or something)! What the hell was that?! I guess Dante inherited psychic powers. Unfortunately, us gamers didn't, so please clue us in, Capcom. The only cool thing about DMC2 was the Trish coin (that was nice). Unfortunately, and I think this is because of our lack of psychic abilities, they still didn't explain what happened to Trish! btw, anyone else notice parallels with DMC and Blade?
