Wow. I just saw this movie last night, and I thought it was awesome! My dad and I were both really in the mood for a good action movie, and this movie was perfect. It kept you guessing what would happen next, and the heists were so creative. 'The Italian Job' was alot better than what I was expecting, and the stunts are amazing. ^^

I highly recommend this movie.

What do you think about this movie?

That movie was lame, lol. A total waste of $11.00 (I had to pay for another person's ticket). I am a bit of a fan of Seth Green, and he played his part well... but I am disappointed in Edward Norton. He is supposed to make good movies; not lame, corny ones.
Red, white, and blue cars??? What was with that? They are being patriotic, yet they are stealing. Truely the American way...
This movie could have been so much better. It was too soft for a movie with Edward Norton and about stealing out of revenge...

I didn't think it was too bad. The patriot thing is kind of pulling at straws, but eh.

I was happy they didn't try to force a love story in it. There were a couple times where I was like "Oh great, this is probably going to turn into some lame sex scene," and it never really happened.

I enjoyed it. Of course, I didn't pay... and it was to get out of seeing 2 Fast 2 Furious. So I'm somewhat biased heh.

I liked it a lot...Edward Norton did piss me off, but that was kind of the point of his character. Also, I think the car colors were just random. Red, white, and blue are pretty common colors for cars.
Heheheh...I loved Seth Green's character though. He was really great. I was a bit "Eh" over the little bit of romance they had put in it, but it was much better than I thought it would be.
Heh..."It was named Napster because I was napping when he stole it from me!"

This looks like it would be a really enjoyable movie, and I've wanted to see it since it came out. The films looked like it had some good action, plot, and acting, which are the main things I look for in a trailer on whether I'd like to see it or not. Unfortuantely, my local movie theatre aparently had a lot of movies dropped into their lap suddenly, and after only a week or two of showing Italian Job, they took it back off. Currently, the only decent movie in my opinion to see there is Bruce Almighty.

I'll take that to mean that I will most likely end up seeing this movie when it is released in six months, or perhaps by a lucky chance at another theatre somewhere.

I thought it was excellent, in my opinion. I saw it on Friday with a bunch of friends and they would all agree.

In fact I loved the way they planned the whole thing out. If any of you have seen the remake of Ocean's 11 (an equally clever, clever 'theif'-type movie), then did you think The Italian Job was like it? I did ^^;;

Oh and yes, Seth Green is a funny guy and his part in The Italian Job was played very well. I also also agree with Piro, if it was a movie about revenge, there could have been more action and killing and stuff.. but I like it the way it is, so yeah. lol

Good stuff. :)

I haven't seen it yet, but I'm holding out for it being good. The original one was excellent, although you always remember it better than it actually is. Anyway, I think the colours of the cars were recognising the original minis in the first movie with Michael Caine

"You're only suppose to blow the bloody doors off!" heh heh, classic, simply classic.

I never really noticed the colours of the cars heh, I thought that the mini chase scene was wicked though, and obviously, the highlight of the movie.

It was an entertaining remake of the classic movie, although I feel that there are too many remakes being made nowdays, I didn't seem to really care with the italian Job, it's a far better remake of Planet of the Apes.

I just saw the movie tonight for $2 at our second-run theatre. (one of my friends didn't want to spend much tonight...) I thought it was pretty good. I wasn't sure of the actor's name, but the guy who played Charlie (I'm gonna guess that was Edward Norton) was pretty pathetic. Within the first 3 minutes of seeing his character I was already thinking that. I assumed there would be a love story inter-woven in there somehow. I was very pleased that they didn't push it w/ a sex scene. They sort of imply that they got married at the end. I like that.
I noticed the car colors, too. I tried to ignore them. (I kept thinking, "Who's not going to notice three identical odd little cars in bright red, white, and blue?" :roll eyes:)
As far as the plan they had goes, I was more impressed w/ the plan in Ocean's Eleven, but both movies have their merits.
I have to say, the movie was definitely worth $2.
