That just makes me so damn mad! I hate that! I waited up for nothing! All it was was a recap of all the stuff that had happened. I refuse to rate that episode b/c if I did I would give it nothing! GRRRR.....man that makes me sooooooo angry!

the very mad Kaola

Haha, I thought you knew it was a recap Kaola, it was mentioned in one of the topics. But i must agree, it was a put down that we have to wait another week. I would give this a 4/10 because it did have some good info if you missed some episode or you just started watching .hack, but for a recap i thought it was a bit sad. I think the makers of .hack//sign really like to leave you hanging.

I must say that a summary was rather disappointing...but then again, I have sattelite and watch the show at 9:00PM and not 12:00PM so I didn't stay up to watch it. I'll give it a 4/10 because it showed some scenes with Maha in them o^^o

RATING: Read below

I cannot truly give this episode a rating because it is just mostly a recap, thats why i gave it no rating.
however in this episode it brought up some old points that we may have forgot about that may be connected to future episodes. it was somewhat intresting to watch even though it was just a recap.
Also i could SWARE that they inserted some new scenes here and there.

yeah, they added new scenes that had Subaru and Silver Knight. I think the only new info you learned is that Subaru knows that Tsukasa was killed/hurt. And I think they said something about Tsukasa and the gardian starting to settle down, i dont fully remember.

I usually hate recaps, but this one did not bother me. Due to the week-long wait between episodes there are things I have forgotten, and this episode helped me remember them a little.

Are you talking about the scene on the boat where they are talking about the "monster reports" calming down? If so then that is not really a new scene. It differs from the original in the fact that it was daytime and the camera angle was different.

I wasnt really sure, i dont remember much. @_@ I wasnt paying a lot of attention to the episode. I didnt know if it was new or not, I guess it wasnt. But im sure the part when Subaru says "Tsukasa....." was new. *gasp* Tsukasa is all gray and dead T_T - Subaru

Yes, that part is new. It was a continuation of the end of last week's episode (where they only showed the tear drop).

really, I didnt really notice it x_x but, then again, I was watching my little cousins and wasnt paying much attention to the episode anyways. Subaru always looks so depressed and sad, then again, I would be depressed and sad if I had Silver Knight as my Protector.

I agree, when she let her tear drip off her face was actually really beautifully done.

The falling feathers and the tear drop were a great addition, showing both loss and sadness. The only part that did not look as good (to me) was when she was staring into the air. For some reason her face seemed too pointed, and the eyes did not seem quite right. (Then again, maybe it is just me)

What can I say? I liked the episode.
I'm really not too much of a fan of recaps, however they did mix in some new parts, some expansions on what was shown before, as others have stated above (I love my DVR). I didn't give the episode a low grade because it was a recapper, but because it was a rather
The imagery as always was beautiful and like always, left me wanting to see what happens next.

Haha, you read right. While recaps may seem like a bad thing, I usually welcome them. They really let you look at the other things that you weren't looking at when you first watch the episodes. Plus, they filter it all into one episode, so you know which scenes to pay special attention to. For me, I noticed how beautiful this anime actually is. I've heard people comment on its quality before, but I never really noticed (or maybe it was just the Sony Trinitron I was watching it on ;) ). Also, that remix of fake wings was really nice.

Anyway, since I'm currently having an argument with Solid about his/her "spoilers," this episode was especially helpful in supporting my point. Now, I've got everything need! :D And can someone check the episode that memory of Tsukasa's mother's funeral was in originally? I wanna see if I was just imagining things. I think it said "Emma" on the grave! Unfortunately, my double-take was too slow and the text was gone before I could check. :(

That scene everyone is talking about (Subaru and her tears): there's a lot more symbolism than that. The scene showed the complete immersion of reality and fantasy. We saw in episode 14 that Bear and Mimiru were experiencing the same thing (when Bear is holding Mimiru after she fell), but thanks to Bear's wisdom and solid intellect, their two worlds remained segregated. Being able to drop a tear in a fantasy world: I immediately noticed that, and I was shocked. Haha, it was crazy. Not only that, but the fact that she has a connection to feel Tsukasa in "The World." People, the characters are beginning to become the characters they play!

I never noticed, but this merger has been happening since the first episode. Man, I feel like an idiot not noticing. :o They all keep talking about comparing "The World" and the real world. Haha, all those talks Crim had about keeping the real world and fantasy world separate are more important than I thought! It was a very slow development, starting with the care and concern for Tsukasa, and then the state of "The World." However, the slow progress leaped with Tsukasa's death, and here we are...

I checked the episode and it looks like it does say "Emma" in very stylized letters (which is why it was hard for me to read at first). So your eyes didn't deceive you! Before you mentioned it, I didn't even notice there was something written on the grave.
