NHL Championships.

I'm really suprised that nobody has posted about the NHL/NBA playoffs yet. I just watched the championship game and I am happy to say that, [spoiler]the New Jersey Devils[/spoiler] are the [spoiler][b]Champions![/b][/spoiler] It's a really happy time for me, because they have been my favorite team for years. Another thing that makes me happy is that both of my teams made it to the championships for their orginaization. The San Antonio Spurs, whom I think are going to be the champions, and the [spoiler]New Jersey Devils.[/spoiler] Well did anyone else watch the game? If so, what are your thoughts on the new champions?

[SIZE=1][COLOR=darkred]Well, I have to admit that I am a HUGE Detroit Red Wings fan. . . I am very dissapointed in the way their season had to end. . losing to the Ducks as bad as they did. I am happy that the [SPOILER]Ducks[/SPOILER] went as far as they did, since it is always better to lose to the guys who go as far as they did. -_-

Anyways, I am so very happy that the [SPOILER]Devils[/SPOILER] won the Cup! I was almost flipping out when [SPOILER]the Ducks took it to game seven[/SPOILER]. . that was messed up *still shaking*

I'm a Detroit fan too.... But, this has been quite possibly one of the best Stanley cup finals ever. I also liked the one 2 years ago, when Ray Borque won with the Aves. That was awesome as well.

The Ducks deserved it. I think more than the Devils. They beat harder teams, they did it better, faster, and in fasion. No one saw them coming and they took it by storm. But I suppose all good things come to an end.

Its Mighty Ducks not just Ducks...and i wanted Anaheim to win...i don't like New Jersey Devils. I think Anaheim deserved it, too bad they could only win on home ice.

And they made it...a little...:p But i'm really happy that [spoiler]The Devils[/spoiler] are the champs. :D Anyway...I would've been just as happy if [spoiler]The Ducks[/spoiler] won...[/SIZE][/color]

Nobody has mentioned this so far, but I got kind of mad when the New Jersey fans booed J.S. Giguerre (is that how you spell his name?) when he went up to recieve the Conn Smythe Award (I think that's what it was called). I mean, they just won the Stanley Cup, couldn't they have shown a little class and given him a round of applause? At least the Devils showed him some respect and clapped for him. Oh, and I'm not attacking the people of New Jersey, [b]just those fans who booed Giguerre.[/b] I want to make that very clear.

Yeah they were probably mad that, because their team won the stanely cup, someone from their team should win the MVP of the playoffs.... howeveer, sorry it doesn't work that way guys lol. Esspecially when Jiggy was 300 times better than anyone else there.

Yeah, I would've been angry, but Giguerre was really amazing through the first three rounds of the playoffs. Nobody even came close to him.
