DuoNDscythe
I went on vacation recently and took my Wing Boxset along, I can't live without it. Well, I was watching and thought when Dr. J was still resisting Oz in the colony he fired a second Buster Rifle. I was wondering if that was supposed to be an addition to his first when he returned to space, making him have two. Second, Treize built the Epyon with the same speed, strength, and even the same system as the Wing Zero. Does that mean that he somehow found the blueprints or is this coincidence. Plus, I thought Trowa came up with the idea of sending the Gundams into the sun, Manga Ground Zero, but Quatre said he mentioned it in Endless Waltz. Just wondering if anyone else noticed. ;)
Domon
Well to answer your question about Epyon. No Trieze didn't find the blueprints, he just simply had reports or something like that on Zero and then made Epyon. And actually the Zero system isn't the same as Zero's. If you watch a certain episode you'll see Epyon (Piloted by Heero) vs. Zero (Piloted by Zechs) The two go into combat but then stop. Heero and Zechs get out of the gundams and Heero looks at Zechs and says. "You take it, I don't know how Trieze thinks." And then he became the pilot of Zero. Luminaire
For your first question, no, he only fires once as far as I know, or if I am mistaken, there is a Twin Vulcan Cannon(looks alot like Buster rifle) which shoots off more than one shot. Second question, you must remember that Quatre built the Wing Zero, not the scientists. Someone wrote up the blue prints and sent them to the scientists. It never said who created the Zero system. If Quatre could access those files, why couldn't Treize? Or how do we know that Treize didn't come up with the Epyon system, and the doctors got a hold of it, and modified it? We don't. It's for our own minds to figure out. Last, Quatre came up with the idea to destroy the gundams, not Trowa. Trowa figured out a way to do it. Quatre was the one who had the materials to send them into the sun. From what I know, Quatre does not say "I never should have suggested sending the gundams into the sun." he says "I never should have suggested destroying the gundams." But, I must remember I saw the Japanese version. Maybe the line is different in the English version. Hope that was helpful! ~Lumi ^_^
Domon
Um Luminaire its proven in technical manuals I've read. The five scientists came up with the Wing Zero and Zero system. But, the plans were scrapped because they deemed the gundam too powerful. Also, Quatre found the Zero blueprints in his faimilies computer mainframe or whatever. It had been hidden there by the scientist who trained him, so Trieze never came up with the plans and why would the scientists steal and hide the plans??? And there's the nagging fact of Episode 21 where we see Quatre mourning over his father's death and then finding Wing Gundam Zero's blueprints in his family's database. Also Treize never did steal the data files for the Zero system unless they were haned to him. Which I highly doubt.

Guest Bolt
i dont know about the first question. treize is just really smart and i assume he found out about the wing zero's zero system and then decided to build something like it and happened to succeed since hes smart. im pretty sure the zero system in epyon is different from wing zero's cuz of heeros reaction to it. heero seemed a lot more stable in the wingzero(After the first time). it was quatres idea to send the gundams to the sun. LetalisNox
I've been out of the GW loop for awhile, and I might have my episode order screwed up, but didn't the scientists get a hold of ZERO after Quatre bombed out in it in his fight with Heero? And with the scientists being held captive by OZ at the time, wouldn't all research they did on the ZERO system be immediately routed to Treize, leader of OZ? If so, then it's safe to assume that's how Treize got the inspiration for Epyon, correct? I don't know, I never did pay much attention to details like that. All I know is, Treize seemed awfully close to omnipotent in direct comparison to all the other characters running around in utter turmoil and confusion during the series. Gods know HOW he managed to do ANY of the brilliant things he did, creating Epyon being one of them. "Commence destruction." Heero Yuy piloting Epyon
Domon
Now hold on right there. Zero was the creation of the five scientists waaaaaayyyyyyy before they selected Heero, Duo, Wufei, Trowa, and Quatre. Wing Zero was the embodiment of the five gundams. But the scientists dubbed it too powerful because of the Zero system and therefore hid the blueprints, which Quatre finds in episode 21 while mourning the death of his father. Now how treize built Epyon's Zero system is beyond me, maybe he did manage to weasel out the plans from the scientists or something that part I have the foggiest idea about but I know this, Wing Zero's blue prints and all data concerning it were hidden in the Winner family database, how else would you explain Quatre finding the plans and building it?
