Then... is you tail thumping up and down?" Skipper and Danren looked down to see Skip's tail wacking the floor. "Otters always thunmp their tails when their nervous.... or worried....." Skipper forced her tail to stop. There was no fooling Danren, that was for sure. "It's Rip... and the other two dibbuns. Hilder and Aelas.... They were missing after the feast and are no where to be found..... Me and my otters are heading out to Mossflower to look for them..." She walked into the kitchen and started packing some food for the search. Danren followed her. "ah.... Rip eh? Hilder and Aelas too? hm... those three are very good friends...... I think i'll join ya' Skip!" He replied pulling out a sack and also starting to fill it up. Skipper smiled, glad that she had more help. "You sure? well, ok...." Skipper answered. After they were finished packing and gathering up the 6 other otters. They started out to Mossflower. Dawn peeked across the Abbey gate as they left Redwall in search of the Dibbuns. She politely accepted and greeted each other. As they spoke to each other, they spoke to each other about her kingdom. Then Abbot Jericho walked off and led Queen Jerine to a more private area, where only elders were allowed. [B]Jericho:[/B] Jerine...old friend...I fear that distraught is coming our way. Urgan Nagru was the first to make us feel scared and alone, now...I do not know who it could be. [B][COLOR=blue]Jerine:[/B] Jericho, my dear friend...do not worry over a matter like this. This is a feast we are having, let us have our worries later. Right now we are....[/COLOR] Suddenly an otter came running to Abbot Jerine. He alerted him of the news that the three dibbuns have gone to Mossflower Woods. Jerine looked at Jericho and Jericho did the same. Jerine nodded and left to find other otters. As she went out, she saw some otters leaving. They were headed for Mossflower Woods. She would have stopped them, but they were content on finding the dibbuns. Sakura Posted June 21, 2003 Share Posted June 21, 2003 Sakura grabbed her sword and ran with the others to search in Mossflower Woods. Sakura caught up to Skipper. Sakura:Reckon it was because they found out it's forbidden now? Skipper:I'd bet my Supper on it.They love these Woods. Sakura nodded and looked around trying to see any sign of them.Then she stopped suddenly. Sakura:Skip!!Look!! Sakura pointed at a branch and it had a patch of cloth snagged on it.Sakura and Skipper ran over to it.Sakura pulled the cloth free and saw it was a piece off Rip's shirt.Sakura and Skip looked at each other in fright.The dibbuns had headed into the deeper and more dangerous part of Mossflower Woods where swamprats,foxes and other enemies lurked. JJ Posted June 22, 2003 Author Share Posted June 22, 2003 OOC: I have been on vacation. That is why I haven't been able to post. Hilder woke up and noticed that he was on the crow's back. But he was tied to it and he couldn't talk or move. Hilder started to worry. The crow as Rip had told him was supposed to take them to Rip's parents, but this didn't look like the way they were supposed to go. As he turned his head he saw Rip on one side and Aelas on the other side. He tried once more to move but couldn't. He then started to remeber all the good times he had at the Abbey. The walking pie incident, all the feasts, Abbot Jericho, Queen Jerine, Skipper, even the Badgermum when he would have to take bathes. He then made a squeak and tears rolled down his cheeks. They inspected the ground and noticed that there were no tracks that tyhe dibbuns left behind. "I have a bad feeling...." Skipper anounced to Sakura. "Something is going to happen.... I feel it..." She felt her tail start to thump against the ground. "You get too excited Skip. Don't worry everything will be fine." Sakura tryed cheering her up. She went outside to the center of the Abbey and started to howl. She heard back a hawk screech. She then saw Thomas Rosewood and Diana Rosewood on top of their trusty steed cobra, Mesimer. Above the walls were Kulin Trotgoth on his hawk with Ardon Trotgoth on his. They came down and the four greeted Jerine. [B]Thomas:[/B] *Southern accent* What's all the trouble there, pardner? We haven't recieved a distress call from you in seasons. [B]Diana:[/B] *Southern* My my my, Jerine. Don't be fussin' over us... tell us what all the hullabaloo is all about! [B][COLOR=blue]Jerine:[/B] Come inside. Uh, Thomas, you might want to take Mesimer with you...or do something. I think he may be frightening the Abbey folk.[/COLOR] [B]Thomas:[/B] Sorry. Come on, Mesimer...we've gotta get you settled down. Don't worry, we'll get you some yummy cakes...how about some cinnamon cakes...with some nice, warm veggie soup? How about it pal? Mesimer nodded his snake head and followed Thomas and Thomas, Diana, Kulin and Ardon followed Jerine. They all tied their animals and went inside with Jerine. They found a private room where they could talk. [B]Kulin:[/B] *australian* What's the busy bees about you callin' us, Jer? Some sort of boy trouble? *starts laughing* [B][COLOR=blue]Jerine:[/B] No, a few of the Abbey children left the abbey to Mossflower Woods. Thomas and Diana live in Mossflower woods, they can have friends track them down. Kulin and Ardon, you can scan the woods above. If anything goes wrong, you both will know.[/COLOR] [B]Ardon:[/B] *australian* Now, if a friend needs help, then I'll give it to her. What do you say, Thomas? Sakura:The dibbuns' pawprints stop here.I don't know where they've gone...Unless they stopped travelling on paw... Sakura stood and dusted off her hands. Sakura:I don't like this Skip.Don't like it at all.... Sakura and the others looked around trying to find any trace of how they might have travelled off. Skipper called out from a bit infront.Sakura ran up and Skipper was on the ground and was brushing at the dirt. Skipper:Here Sakura.Look at this. Sakura got down and saw what skipper was looking at. Sakura:Talons?! Skipper:Either they took a ride on a bird or......... Sakura: Don't even think about that possibility Skip! Revelation Posted July 10, 2003 Share Posted July 10, 2003 Jerine went out to see Ardon and Kulin fly over to the Mossflower Woods. She also saw Thomas on Mesimer going out. She prayed that the dibbuns would be alright. She led Diana to the kitchen and asked for some hot tea. They sat down and talked over what they've been doing all these past seasons.
