If you don't know Modern Dreams is a story posted in the Adventure area of this site, created by DJ Tatum.
I like to consider myself a co-creater, since we worked together on the story.

Well, anyway I created some pics of a few characters from this story, and have decided to post them here for everyone to see.

My first pic is of Silia, the Zarcadian Guardian of Light. Me and Tate both worked on how this character should look.

So, please tell me what you think.:D

With that in mind, it is very important to remember that post quality is, once again, important in this area. Posting something like "Whoa! That's cool!" is simply unacceptable.

So you see, just saying "Nice" isn't an acceptable post. The moderators here want you to explain what you like about a pic, or how it can be better.

Just thought you'd like to know.:D

Well I think the Otaku Should cut down on some rules I mean I work at a forum 10 times the look and better as this and there rules are have fun not be strict about everthing And How much do you want to bet me ill get penalized for this because I have a right of opinion but oh well I guesse this forum is to strickt and I only post here becuadse the one I work at is down

I love it. You are a really good artist with these drawing stuff eh? But about the CGing... I think you should add a bit of more shadows and light ya know... It adds more to the artwork.

Legeto: It is the forum's rules, there is no use in complaining and saying that they should be less strict... Just follow the rules and everything will do right I guess...

The rules are considered strict by many people who visit the more casual forums with less shame, but these forums have been like this for a very long time and the many people who post here accept that. If you do not like the rules at these forums, you don't have to be here. Go to a forum like Infinite Forums. Or KissDBZForums, which is really awful now.

I'm not saying that the forums you work at are shameless but OtakuBoards is very peaceful and we have a lot of pride in the cleanliness of the board. If you do not agree with our ways, there is no need for you to be here.

Back on topic, I really enjoy the art. The only part I don't seem to enjoy is the hair color. I like the darker blue, but the bright blue is a bit much. Good work :)

It doesn't even matter. Strict or otherwise, all you said is one freaking word. This isn't a chat room. If you would have just wrote 2 sentences instead, no one would be saying anything and you wouldn't have to post a couple more times. Saves you the time as well, so I don't see the problem in it.

And honestly, isn't basically making a post with really nothing other than saying something is spam, spam as well? lol OH well.

Anyway, I think it's pretty good. I don't really like the way the lines pop out to be honest. With some good shading, I think it could turn out really well. You might want to make some of the lines a bit smoother, but still, very nice.

Nice pic like Semjaza said about the line popping out at ya is cool and i like the colour of the wings not thats plain white it has some texture and shading will go a long way but i downside i dont like the lines in the hair showing the shine but it's just me with that one.

It's pretty good but her...um... can I say breasts? Well anyway they're too big. But overall nice, you could shade her face a LITTLE more, and put a little more details in the eyes. Over all its a great pic.

You [i]work[/i] at a forum, and yet you do not use proper grammer or have any indentations in your posts? I wouldn't want to post there. o_O

Your right to your opinion is there, but limited to our forum rules. If you come and start spamming, you can't just wave your behavior away with "it's my opinion to believe that spamming is fine." That's basically what you're doing, and it doesn't work like that. If you can't respect the rules set forth on this forum, then you can leave. And if you think the moderators are too strict here, then I suggest going to Otaku Lounge and reading the thread entitled "Poll: Moderators too strict?" Once you finish reading the whole thread, then by all means - post your opinion on it. :)

I've now decided to post my second Modern Dreams pic. This character's name is Gideon, Zarcadian Guardian of Shadow.

he looks creepy, wich means it really looks good the eyes are kinda weird actually, but i really like the face lines and the eyebrows even if theyr a bit big...

Yes he does have a body, its just that I decided to save time and just do a head shot.:D

You could have given it more depth with a little more well-placed shading, but I think it's very nice. I like her hair color... the green and blue... man, now I want to change my hair. That's cool.

The second one.. yeah, the shading, but nicely outlined and colored.

Heres yet another character from Modern Dreams. Its Gimeron, the main bad guy of the story.

Its a bit rough around the edges, and I think his armor's color scheme could be better. What do you think?:therock:

actualy the forums I work at are 10 times better and most of the time at the otaku there only 50 people on outta what 4000 thats pretty pathetic and half the people Ilook at they say o post(s) per day Then it sats 0

legeto has now been banned, you won't have to deal with his nonesense anymore. To other moderators, I hope you can see why I skipped over the warning altogether.
