Why did Aura just stop floating? Why did Aura say Depth? Why did Aura open her eyes and look very scary? Earlier in the series we were allowed a shot of Aura with her eyes open in a dream of Tsukasa's she was the little girl Aura which you see in the opening of the show.

RATING: 6

Todays episode was definitely a break from all of the action (with the exception of last week) and focused more on the storyline instead. We did learn a lot from this episode, and it amazing how much depth is in this anime! Also when aura opened her eyes, i felt like i knew that would happen but i was scared out of my life as i saw what the eyes looked like. they looked much freakier then i imagined! all in all it was a good episode, however another cliffhanger :p .
Oh well!
i geuss ill have to wait till next week.

WOW! That was a good episode, Iv completly changed my theorie about the key of the twilight. I think that Aura is what will open the key of the twilight. I dont think she is the key of the twilight, but im positive that she has some kind of power to open it. And that freeky sound must do something too.
Ok! The part when she opened her eyes. I had seen a screen shot of it before, but I had no idea what episode it was in. When it was focused on her I was thinking "Please dont have the scary black eyes!" And then POP! She opened them and it was scary as hell. I had trouble getting to sleep from that.
Over all, I say this episode had a lot of good info even though it didnt have any action and I think it was a much better episode then last week. But we still didnt see if Crim and Sora finished their fight Which they probably didnt and you only saw Crim once in the whole episode T_T I did like the part when BT died though. That made my day.

I gave the entire episode an 8, but +1 for B.T. getting Player Killed. Yeah, that's right: every episode that has B.T. killed gets an extra point on its score. ;) I hope that's enough incentive for players to go out and kill B.T.! :D And K.K.C., I wanna join!
Why did Aura just stop floating? Why did Aura say Depth? Why did Aura open her eyes and look very scary? Earlier in the series we were allowed a shot of Aura with her eyes open in a dream of Tsukasa's she was the little girl Aura which you see in the opening of the show.
I don't know if it's of any relevance, but this is the first time Tsukasa has touched Aura. I've always noticed that he refused to touch her. I don't know what's going on with Aura, but that was some freaky stuff! And I doubt Tsukasa was just seeing those Maha-like eyes (they looked like Maha's eyes, but black). Whoa, that freaked me out! :wigout:

Oh, and when Tsukasa "reloads" (I don't know what its called), was Aura smiling at his pain?! If that's the case, then that dream with Aura awake and playing may have been more than a dream... Man, this episode earns its title: Depth. Truly deep stuff!
Iv completly changed my theorie about the key of the twilight. I think that Aura is what will open the key of the twilight. A key to open the key of the twilight... Oh, I think you do believe Aura's the key of the twilight. However, you just don't believe she is whatever this great twilight is. Haha, I shouldn't be telling you what you think, but I just thought you phrased yourself wrong. Everything is pointing to Aura being the key to open the door to twilight... Isn't that phrase in one of the songs (the italicized parts)? Rate: 8.8/10
Face it, they aren't finishing that fight. Besides, Crim's already out of that place, and the area is no longer accessible. Yeah, B.T. dying is truly one of the best parts of the series. :D

Alright, in the last scenes, where they were talking about Tsukasa's memories and what-not, I'm a little confused. Were they saying:

That he, as a character in the game, resets back to where he last saved, just like any other character? However, since his memories and thoughts are also bound to his character data in the game, those memories and thoughts also reset when the character resets? For example, in the show, since he died in that dungeon ("Castle" episode), he doesn't remember anything that happened in the dungeon because he saved some time before entering it.

-Or-

That he loses his memory from being Data Drained (while others just lose consciousness)? Afterall, he did seem to lose a little more than just the events of Bitter Fantasy Mirrorworld. That was an awesome scene where he was questioning his existence, and then the scene with Subaru's answer. It was a clever answer, although I'm not sure how to paraphrase it right now.

Or maybe it was a mix of both? I guess we'll have to wait until Tsukasa is killed again (if he does). I mean, until Subaru's answer, I could easily see Tsukasa try to kill himself to test his limits.

I would write more but I am limited on time, but I think this episode was really good at showing Tsukasa and Subaru's relationship in the story. She seems like she knows all about that, like she might be stuck in the game too but just now saying!

Also I said from episode 14 that I thought Aura was the key!!!! Thats what I think.

Man, I was so scared when her eyes opened too! I totally didn't expect that! That really made me jump back from the tv (considering I sit right next to it b/c I love that show so much)

Also, Azure Wolf haven't you already seen this whole series? I never read any of the spoiler threads b/c I didn't want to be disappointed but didn't you write those? Just wondering!

I give it A 9/10

I belive it was A good episode. Me and my brother are debating if the tsukasa that they meet up with after the castle collapsed is the real tsukasa or what is left of him inside the game. I belive the reason the girl on the bed stoped floating is because she is about to awaken and did any one find that part where she looked at tsukasa with black eyes creepy?:nervous

SPOILERS NOT ALL OF IT ONLY THE STUFF THAT HAS [/TO/] sorry for not being able to cover up spoilers

Could those eyes deal with the eyes of a phases I've said before in a previous topic [/Maha is the sixth phase but Aura being a phase?! just doesn't make sense Skieth,Innis,Magus,Fidchell,Gorere or something like that,Macha, some guy,and Corbinek these are the 8 phases.Sorry for the some guy thing but I'm not sure.According to AzureWolf Macha is translated into Maha also a few other people have said that.but I can't prove this though the closest phase I've seen to human is Skieth and he has no eyes.when she has her eyes open in the game they are all not Maha like?/]Oh yes I believe he pretended to forget about saying,"I think I found it."How was he to explain Aura and keep her safe if others know about her.Sure they're all nice but what about Sora, and BT information leaks to them mainly through Bear and then through BT to Sora. It's one of the only things he keeps dear. Aside from his staff also to add the staff he has is called Revelations a level 19 power not great but will do till you get the Witch's Wand,The Grand Elite or something, and Rod of Pattern
Subaru made Tsukusa seem like he's and AI I know he's not but does she think that? I'm sorry if this contained spoilers that could be read I'm not great with covering up spoilers

9/NINE

There's one thing that I don't get, there have been a couple if not a few times where the Tsukasa on the outside seemed as if she/he should have died, and maybe caused some sort of problem for the Tsukasa in the game. I mean, if the life monitor thing suddenly shows a straight line, doesn't that mean the person is in trouble or even, dying?

I also noticed that Aura smiled when Tsukasa was being reginerated (he was in pain). What does that mean?! I'm not sure.

I don't exactly hate BT, but she is sort of cocky.
I don't know why, but up until now I didn't like Subaru at all, I'm not sure what it was a bout her I didn't like, but after watching "Depth", I've decided she's ok.

I'm with all of you that said her eyes opening like that was a bit creepy/scary, I nearly jumped! Not only was I not expecting her eyes to be so big, but they had no pupils, strange or not.

AzureWolf, I think your first thought about Tsukasa's memory, being killed in the game, and regineration might be right.

A very good, yet somewhat disturbing episode. It was good that they provided another internal struggle for Tsukasa, instead of showing him in another pointless fight.

The bit with Aura's eyes was really unusual, and I am still wondering as to why she was crying, although I do have some ideas.

And the best part, BT getting player killed. :D That brightened up my day. I only wish they had stretched it out so that we could see her writhe a little.

On a side note, I had a possible revelation about the voice and Maha. I believe that Maha is the embodied version of the voice. The reason is when the voice was talking it said "You, that girl and I, the three of us." There is not mention of Maha staying with them. It would also explain the lack of Maha's voice.

9 out of 10

I found some of the episode confusing because I missed the previous episode. That might be the only downer of this series. When Aura opened her eyes, I nearly fell don the stairs I was sitting on. That part scared the **** out of me. I am glad to see Mimiru and Bear are so willing to help Tsukasa. I also see a relationship forming between Subaru and Tsukasa ^_~. How many times does Sora kill BT in thi series? sheesh...violent guy...

Just wondering!
You sound like you are afraid of me! Haha, I don't bite. ;) Anyway, I think you are referring to Solid's posts. The only spoilers I have posted are game spoilers - if you can even call them spoilers since the games have already been released in the U.S.
I don't exactly hate BT, but she is sort of cocky.

I don't have respect for anyone who likes B.T. :twitch: (j/k). Yeah, I never liked Subaru either. I never said so because... uh... I don't know, it's just that the subject never came up. I just don't like Subaru's high-and-mighty attitude, but she's more tolerable now, especially after Depth. I still wouldn't put her on my like list though.
Why does everyone hate BT? i dont mind her.
Gasp! Another one! Anyway, just read a few of the previous episode review threads and you'll see why (you know, the ones Shy makes).

XD read my sig..... Reasons for hating BT..... I could have a very long list. I dont mind Subaru too much, but she tends to get on my nerves......

well, anyways. I just watched the episode again because I taped it. And I noticed something similar to the first episode.... When Tsukasa "came back to life" and he was laying on the ground, it looked exactly the same as in the first episode when hes laying down in the sticky stuff. Did anyone notice that too? Im starting to think that maybe Tsukasa had been killed in the first episode, but Im really not sure at all.
