Corey
Summer will soon be upon us, and with the coming of summer comes summer festivals. Over in the mid-west US we have Summerfest. One, if not the, most popular summer music festival in the world. It's being kicked off in a little over a week and will run for eleven days. I certainly will be attending, so will my buddy Char!, and Sara most likely will too. I believe we are all located in the mid-west. What festivals or celebrations do you look forward to? XeEmO
Well I might go to the ozz fest. There are going to be some good bands playing there this year. I just need to see if I can make one of the dates. I'll probably go to the one in Boston if any of them but I could possibly catch it somewhere else. I think the website's just http://ozzfest.com
InuyashaDeamon
In the Cheyenne Wyoming has Fontier days which have night shows, Rodeos, and a Carnivel. But they have a parade every other day and on the days with no parades there is a free pancake breakfeast. But I would n't attanied sence that im in out of town this summer. Shinmaru
Well, the KROQ Weenie Roast happened yesterday, but unfortunately, I couldn't get tickets. But that's the summer festival that I look forward to.
Semjaza
Ozzfest and Lullapalooza are out of the question sadly. I cannot afford either, and the seats left are crap. Plus, I don't even want to see most of the bands at Ozzfest outside of Manson anyway... they better tour seperately as well, because $79 is NOT worth it. I wish I was in England or whatever it was so I could go to the Reading Festival. That must be amazing. I don't know much about this Summerfest though. I'd have to look into it. Luminaire
I wanted to go to OzzFest to see Disturbed, but it is useless to even hope. My mum would never let me go. I don't keep up with anything other than OzzFest because I only listen to KRock on the radio. The Reading Festival sounds awesome. I want to go! ~Lumi ^_^
Fall
We actually have a festival opening in Winter this year. About two weeks from now. I've heard it has about 60 rides, showbags, performances from speedcars and the like. I'll probably end up going, though I'm only really going to check out the rides. Heaven's Cloud
Actually, I have a couple three day passes to summerfest and I am planning on going...although I am not sure what weekend I'll attend. I'd like to go the weekend on the 28th because both Tom Petty and Blues Traveler will be performing...but July 4th weekend looks pretty promising too...I have more time off, and Morris Day and the Time are performing...

Corey
You'd be surprised how hard it is to get to Summerfest even though you live five miles away from the grounds... I need to buy a pin...
Lady Macaiodh
I've got this free ticket to Ozzfest... I'm not sure what to do with it. It was given to me by a guy who is going to be locked up all summer, and obviously can't use it. I might just sell it. Most of the bands coming out these days are such crap. I love Ozzy, but I just don't feel like driving all that way. I'd probably spend most of the time hot, thirsty, and wanting to leave. There's going to be a Celtic Festival in August. Now that I'm definitely down with.
RicoTranzrig
In my area, we have 2 big festivals going on. BFD and Summer Sanitarium. They're both musical festivals with bands and artists all over the place. Unfortunately, BFD already happened a few days ago with Good Charlotte and a bunch of other alternative bands. Summer Sanitarium is towards August, which I can defintely get tickets for. Linkin Park, Metallica and other such bands performing in that one. There are also smaller cultural festivals around the bay area like this cook off and another multi-religious festival, which are always nice (and free too).
