Mine is that I get to make so much more nice friends =D It really helps me a lot when I get sad in real life, and I love learning new things on the internet, what about you?

Hmm many things. I usually spend most of my time on my favorite 2 sites.(GameFAQs,IGN) I also can get away from this blackhole called school.School sucks so much because not only is it not a challenge but they always teach stuff in the most boring way possible and then their is the second worst thing from school called homework(nobody needs that crap).

Usually also makes me happier after getting from arguing with teachers and stuff and allows me to get a good night sleep after wasting a lot of time on it. The computer is one of the best things to have happened in this world.:)

[color=ff00cc] [size=1]I love the internet for alot of reasons. For one, you get to interact with people all over the world, and have normal conversations. I've met tons of great people on the internet, and some I care about just as much as my friends in real life.

Another reason is, it gives you quick resources for homework, rather than having to go to the library, and dig around for books, and all that stuff. xx;[/color] [/size]

I really like to talk to people I know on AIM. It sure beats the phone, and you don't even need to pay long distance bills to talk to people. There's just nothing like the web and I wouldn't be able to imagine life without it. Ever since I got it 4 years ago there hasn't been a day where I had the chance to get online but I didn't.

[color=crimson]I love alot about the internet. I especially love the wonderful friends I have met through the net. I have a way to escape real life for a little while.

The information is wonderful too. Anything I look up can be found on the net. This information makes school a whole lot easier. Fanfiction is also good. Fanart, information on anime or video games I enjoy can be found on the net.

OtakuBoards is on the net. I could never forget that, never. 'Tis where I started to get into anime and meet different people. Where I am able to speak my opinions and ideas. A wonderful place it is.

Of course, my favorite would be getting to know some of the great people I have through AIM, the OtakuBoards, and through some other sources ^_^ I wouldn't trade most of the friends I have met for anything.

Another favorite of mine is the ability to download songs, videos, games, etc. I have never really been big into music, but I have become a lot more into it due to the computer. Music sites and downloads. . all that and more. I still know nothing about music, but I love it *shrug* Ya ya, I'm an idiot.

Umm. . I suppose the last favorite thing about the internet is the ability to play online games. Not only have me and my good friends been able to duke it out over a wide variety of games, but like the first reason up there, it's a great way to meet new people =)

I think my favorite thing about the internet is meeting tons of people who have things in common with you. In the real world, this is limited to the people around you, which shape you in a sense to be more like them. In the internet, you can have any opinions on a certain subject that you like and you are guaranteed to find someone else with the same thoughts on one subject or the other.

For example, I like anime. I have a small group of friends in real life that like anime as well, but a ton of others who don't. But on the internet, I can find TONS of people who like anime, and even ones with the same tastes in genre. I'd say that some of my best friends come from right here on the net, mainly because you can judge someone on their tastes and not appearence, and like I said before, you can easily find someone that likes the same things as you do.

OtakuBoards is my main source of this information, and already I think I have made better friends here than in real life.

[color=indigo]I'd have to say I have three things that I really enjoy about the net.

1)Otaku Boards. Its helped me grow alot maturity wise. I know that sounds stupid but it has. Also it has always been my escape from everything. I remember when I was grounded from the net for like 3 months. I couldn't stop thinking about OB and what was going on and wishing I could get on and talk to you people.

2) The people. I have met the greatest people on-line. People I would trust my life with. I know its corny as well, but my greatest friends are the ones I've met via the net.

3) The sense of security and confidence I have on the net. I mean in real life I'm scared to voice my opinion for my age and being 5'5 hurt me in the aspect that many people think I'm just a teenager ranting about how its un-fair. I have stuff to say and on the net I can. I guess that'd also go under the category of OB..[/color]

Really.. I hate the internet. I only go on it because I'm a member of so many boards I'd die counting them. I have people I can talk to, other than people in real life. That's the only reason I actually turn on the computer.
