Well, though it isn't out yet, I can tell you as much as I know about the movie. First though, I will mention that I am really looking forward to this movie. It will be quite interesting, and I am hoping that it is as good as the previews show (well, the previews look good to me)

As for more info on the movie, the best I can give you would be . . hmmm. . A British research facility releases some virus out. It spreads across the world, and it's hard to contain (it can be carried by animals and humans). Anyways, -- 28 Days Later -- there is a small group of survivors left, and they find themselves trying to stay alive from the infected. I read somewhere that though that is the part you see, it's more of a suspense horror due to the fact that the mental strain on the survivors minds cause each other to be more of a threat to each other then the infected humans.

Recaping: Virus spreads, people get infected, survivors try to survive, everyone hates each other.

Ummm. .pretty much like normal life without the whole infected people trying to eat/kill each other (wait, perhaps it is more similar to real life then I thought)

Thanks you guys, from what I heard it's neat and just 3 days ago I saw 2 clips or trailers of the movie and it looks neat but it may be possible that it is a long movie. One of the trailers was a six movie one it showed the part of when the infection begins which is in the lab because a dumb guy was pissed off at the caretaker and released one of the infected monkeys and it jumped and attacked one of the women the people had broken in so that is why the caretaker was scared and the guy had goten mad as for the woman after one bite from the monkey she became a zombie it was cool the way she looked ^^. Some people on other web sites said it was stupid and a wast of time but I'm still going to see it. ^^

I saw a trailer for it just yesterday. I got the impression it was some zombie horror film, since a group who reviewed it said something to that extent, but I don't know. looks like a pretty neato movie, though I won't be able to see it.
I also love resident evil what have you heard of it so far and what games have you play, my friend needs help on resident evil:code veronica x.
I have only heard as much as NorykoAngelcry about 28 Days Later. Even if I didn't know anything about it I still would see it. I have played every Resident Evil except for the GC versions.

I only beat it once so I am not to familiar with the areas. If you could give me more details like what they are having problems doing would help a lot.

That reminds me are the people who get infected in this movie actually dead or do they go insane? I only seen the commercial's everything else I have read but I never really seen that part mentioned any place.

Well, at the beginning of the trailer, I wasn't really interested, but those zombies popping out at the end freaked me out. xx;

The poster gives me nightmares. Half of me is really anxious to see what happens, but the other half is terrified. o-o'

The trailer gave off a distinct B-Movie movie vibe with the blurred, dithered imagery. It reminds me of The Blair Witch Project, in that sense; it's a low budget film that relies on perspective and character interaction to build tension instead of using snazzy effects as a crutch for building fear.

The post apocalyptic setting looks like it'll be genuinely eerie--a setting that will also be used by the next Resident Evil film. I hope that the movie uses the feeling of loneliness and helplessness that this environment provides to sell the plot, because the cheesy zombie designs look laughable, save for their glowing red eyes. But, on the bright side, the sound editing, from what I've heard, is extremely well done, with eerie music choices and such.

28 Days Later has received mixed reviews from what I've seen, but I'm a sucker for zombie movies. I have a feeling that it'll be a lot better than Jeepers Creepers 2 or Wrong Turn, so I'm really looking forward to this movie!

There probably won't be any thing better from the horror genre this summer, anyway.

If the virus turns people insane or kills them , well what I think is that it kind of kills you but then it brings you back to life only it controlls you and the only thing you want is flesh but what I don't understand is why they want that or do they need it? as for the video game I have to ask my friend , he said that it was getting into it and there was a boss but I'll ask he the next time I get to. Thanks ^^. I also plan to play the game sometime this month.

Well Charles, while I am not a huge fan of Jeepers Creepers. . *shudders* I am looking forward to 28 Days Later. I am not saying that it is not the cheesy'est (umm, that's a word, right?) movie, I am just saying that I hope the feel of the movie will be surprising. I honestly don't know if it is a B movie or not. I mean, I am not an expert of British geography, but they seem to have gotten a pretty good sized street area with just one guy running around. And to me, it doesn't look like a staged area like was used in Resident Evil. Just one guys opinion. I am not saying that other parts of the movie will be below 'now' standards, but from what I have seen, it's the eerieness of the emptyness that is shown that is going to frighten people. What better to scare people then to show nothing?! I mean, if you showed some guy in the middle of a - normally - busy street, alone, I would be freaked out. Oh well. . perhaps that is why I surround myself with so many friends and family? *shrug*

As for anything else coming close to this movie in terms of horror genre, I am with you again Charles, in that I agree that nothing will come close -- this summer -- mwahahahaha!! Errr. . sorry. .

Have we all forgotten Freddy vs. Jason? That's Oscar worthy material right there.

I have no doubt in my mind that I will love 28 Days Later. I'm tired of these stupid teeny bopper horror targetted horror movies like Ghost Ship, Jeepers Creepers and 13 Ghosts. Especially in the case of two of those that are based on old films that were just so much better.

Oh, the part that freaked me out is when a guy's or zombie's face appears at a window and his face is covered with like mud or something very dark maybe even blood and his eyes were a color orange it freaked me, my dad, and mom but it looked so cool and also about the set it's cool that it is in a open area and in a actual city not like resident evil.

I've heard and seen the preview of freddy vs jason I'm not sure if I going to see it but why put two different movies into one I think that's kind of stupid they should keep it in their original movie. But you never know.

I actually already have the movie. I have yet to see it though. I've been meaning to watch it now for almost several weeks. I'll probably end up watching it this week sometime.

Any movie in Europe you can pretty much download before it's release in the US. I downloaded 28 Days Later and Bend it Like Beckham before they were even released in theaters here.

mmmm personally i thought the movie wasnt that good. My bro has it on DVD and sadly i have seen it twice. The so "zombies" (they aint actually zombies) are the best part about the film and whenever you see them its pretty cool but the movie is really slow and most points are boring.
