Guest Zeh
Worked so hard on o_O It's scribbles. You can even see the 'sky' where you crossed the color-pencil marks. You can't make out the writing, and the face is too blurred... (Read the rules, double posting is against them.)
Guest yuka-kitsune
it not scribbles when you work hard on it and it's your first try at it. took me 2 hours just to find how too make a body at side view then it took me another 1 1/2 hours just master the body
PiroMunkie
First of all, do not double post. Secondly, stop whining. There was only a seven minutes lapse between your two posts. So what if no one takes a look at this topic in a seven minute time period? Move on and come back to it later. No one has even really looked at the picture yet. As for the actual picture, it is pretty bad. It is very flat, the coloring is less than amateur, the depth is off... just to name a few. I am not much of a fan of the writing on it either. Sometimes it is okay if done correctly, but the handwriting is barely even legible. I am in a somewhat bitter mood right now so this is probably coming off more harsh than I may normally put it, but just look at it this way: You can only get better.

KittyLynn
As long as you like it. Thats all that it matters. But you need a little work on drawing and colouring. But I'm sure you should be very proud of yourself. ^^ -Kitten
eleanor
I'm going to have to say that it's not the greatest picture, but that doesn't mean you can't learn how to draw good! I'm sure you'll be able to learn with lots of practice and concentration.

eleanor
I wasn't trying to insult you. Yes, you should be proud, but I'm just saying it's not high-quality or anything. The flatness thing is true, but that means if you work on it long enough you'll be able to fix that problem.

You must use better grammer, punctuation, and capitolization or it's very difficult to understand what you are saying. In that sense, if we can't understand you, then it doesn't contribute to the discussion and that post is spam. eleanor
In my opinion, the websites suck and I hate them. I just feel that if you learn how to do it on your own, it's more effective. Sorry if this is off-topic.
Guest yuka-kitsune
i have no idea how to do that. i said last post . how do you fix something when you don't know how? any one have an answer.
KKC
you just have to fiddle with it and practice a lot. I dont mean for a month... I mean ALOT! Drawing is probably the skill that takes the longest to perfect. Iv been trying to draw anime sence I was 7 or 8. Just this year did I finally start drawing pictures that I liked and felt proud of. Yet, I still know I have a lot of work to do. Basicly, websites are just there as a distraction (or to me they are) people will spend more time reading those and trying to learn from a computer thatn themselves. I know it's difficult, but you should try it.

Kaola Su
I think you have a good attitude about the whole thing, because even if no one here likes your drawings that doesn't mean you aren't good and can't become better! I think you should keep the attitude you have because the most important thing to remember is that it is your drawing and no one elses and as long as you are proud and happy with the way it came out then that is all that should matter. Keep it up okay! If your profile is right you are only 13 so you have plenty of time to keep trying! Kaola

*nods* I agree. I remember when I used to try drawing from instructions from books and websites. >>;;; You should try to draw with your own style, freehand. Besides, that way it's more unique. ^_^ The drawing is a little along the line of average. It doesn't seem like you spend too much time on the coloring. PiroMunkie
Originally posted by yuka-kitsune OMG i have no idea how to fix it or purfect it i have no idea how to give them a 3-d look
My advice would be to find some good profile pictures online and draw those to the best of your ability. Since they would just be practice they would not neccesarily take up one sheet of paper either. They could be thumnail sketches just to get your hand and eyes familiar with the look and feel of what is neccesary to achieve better depth in a picture. Once you get it down you can use the skills in your own original work. This is pretty much how I learned anime style drawing in general, and trust me my first pictures were pretty bad, lol. I have gotten better since then to the point where is almost makes me sick to look back at those old ones... heh. ^_^

Break
Hmm... it looks like you're just drawing the figures out of the blue. That's not good. You should draw a "manakin" shape first, use simple shapes (circles, cylinders, rectangles, etc.) for the body, head and limbs. Then go over this and begin to make the general shape of your character. Add details, colour then.. voila! You're done. Of course, it's not nearly as simple as this. It's taken me months to learn how to draw even semi-good characters. I advise (if I'm allowed to "advertise" this site to help this poor person) going on How to Draw Manga. There are some really great tutorials there, you'll be drawing anime characters in weeks; maybe even less. ;) EDIT: Also, your colouring.. *shudders*.. try to colour everything in the same direction. At the moment, you're just scribbling everywhere and to be honest, the colouring on the sky looks awful.
Guest yuka-kitsune
i'm not drawing them 'out of the blue' and my first picture i ever drew that i was actullay proud of drew was a picture of vegetto (sp?) only god knows where it is when i started i made the heads to small for their genormas bodies then when i got the head right my friends called them men with square Boobs O.o i have very strange friends any way it took me whole the summer to get it right (i was in summer school they think you can sit in the same seat for 2 1/2 hours and pay atention) i'm trying new things with my drawings yesterday i spent an hour working on a head and i still did not finish it
