Sandy
Logan, I think you have to put yourself acknowledged. Tag along to somebody - nobody's going to reject you! But if you don't put effort on making your character "visible", then don't expect anybody else to do that. ;) Catmint looked at the blushing angel, like the three other people in the room. Catmint: "A map... Yes, that would be useful... if we didn't have half a dozen of those already! Are you really saying you don't have any better idea on how to get the human... what was his anme again... Hunter?" Rei: "Umm... Sorry, Lord Florafleur..." Catmint: "It's Catmint! I've given up that lord-thing a long time ago. Now, does any of you have an idea how we can invade Winterpalace, the most guarded building in whole Faerie?" Tawn: "By penetrating." Catmint: "Excuse me?" Tawn: "You heard me, Butterfly Boy. We send in somebody who wants to rejoin Titania's side, promising to give information about Rainbow Alliance. She - or he - will work as an agent for us, planning a route for the rest of us to kidnap the human." Catmint: "Sounds decend, but extremely dangerous. Miss Rienna, you were one of Titania's servants not long ago. Could you...?" Rei: "NO! She would execute me the minute I walk in the castle! She hates me so much... for what I have done..." Catmint: "Uh, anybody else? Sakhi? Sakura?" The young fairy girl and the harpy princess looked at each other a bit sheepishly.
The Harlequin
Ilmiwyrth looked around, more than slightly amused now. He should have come here centuries ago, these mortals were fascinating. Lacroix hold told him the same once, but he'd never really trusted his father's sense of humour. The room was what he had a feeling he should have expected, low lit and with strange furniture dotting the occasional wall. A foreign scent permeated the air, darting in and out of percerption. He looked over to the other inhabitant of the room, who Neuvox greeted with a surprising amount of respect. Ilmiwyrth looked around quickly, taking note of mortal details unfamiliar to him. Lacroix and Ryshiel were uninventive decorators.
Patronus
She looked around, noticing no one responding to her idea. She sighed, as she remembered she wasn't part of the Rainbow Alliance. She was here, by order of Queen Titania, to spy. "You cannot hurt or get rid of the human," she yelled out. Her red eyes glaring with fire. "Forcing Queen Titania to join Auberon will hurt her greatly." She looked over to Rei, almost shunning her. "We shall not kidnapp the human," she said sternly.
Raiha
Woah, trippy. Are you saying that I'm talking to a friend of yours? Say yes, cause I'm kinda confused....[must be the painkillers/valium] ~~~~~~~~~~ She came back, looking calm and collected, something clenched in her hand. She motioned to the long low, oriental style table. He sat down and she knelt on the sette. She set her hand on the table and opened it. Instantly, 8 lapis stars, ringed with amesthoi appeared. Neuvox: I've been hired to look for these. My skills as a theif are somewhat of a ledgend. Ilmiwyrth: I believe you. Why these? Neuvox: There's a story that....if the thirteen stars are brought together, the wearer of such a crown will have infinite wisdom. My reward is handsome. But I do it as a favor. Ilmiwyrth: You need help? Neuvox: Not really. I wouldn't mind a body guard. One that can lift me up with a finger.
Geist
The elves didn't answer Floke's question; they were looking around the forest suspiciously. Then, two bandits jumped from the trees and tried to attack the elves. Floke hid in a bush and watched the skirmish from afar. "Now's the perfect chance to continue on my mission. But should I really abandon my fellow warriors in a fight? No, I will help them. I'm not a coward." Floke pulled out his sword, which was just a little bigger than a pin, and flew over to help the elves in battle. He stabbed one of the bandits in the eye. "Curse that little bug! Squash it, Dren!" The bandit said, holding his wounded eye.

The Harlequin
Ilmiwyrth: And you just love being swept off your feet don't you. Neuvox: Don't get overconfident. Ilmiwyrth: Overconfident? I could probably kill you the same finger I lifted you up with. Neuvox: Considering the fact that you could allow it to, I imagine you could. Ilmiwyrth: So there's an element of unlife there. Do you have any idea where these stars are then? Neuvox: I can find out quite easily. Ilmiwyrth: I can ask some of my ...contacts, if you get bored running around looking for them.
Raiha
Neuvox: I'm a dark Faun dear. We do not get bored. Ilmiwyth: Of course... She smiled up at him, ears folded back in the manner of her kind. He grinned malevolently and she purred. Then she gathered her things, put on her chain link belt and walked out the door. He followed, closing it behind him. The two looked around, then side stepped, avoiding a group of street urchins. Ilmiwyrth: Are they all this unruly. Neuvox: Basically. They're very unformed. Krillen
OOC: Im getting my bags packed to come back to Maryland, Im in Ohio right now so its been hard to find some time to get online. The Boards have been down for almost 2 days anyways. Oh yah, back on point, I'm gonna make this post quick because I'm leaving soon. ----------------------- *One of the bandits swings his arm across the air smacking floke to the ground. Floke rises, gasps, and falls to the ground as his wings follow. Bandit 1: Got the little piss ant! Basil: Your the piss ant, ugly face! *Basil knocks the bandit upside the head, he flies into a tree and blacks out next to a bush. Basil: Floke! You alright? Flo----"Clang!" *Basil is knocked down with a club. As Basil rises from the ground he is hit again in the stomach. Deadrock come behind the Bandit with his Broadsword and slices the Bandit in two. Deadrock: Got the little piss ant, hah hah! Kilika: He's only half the man you were, Basil. Hahah.....hah....aw...that was bad. Basil: What a couple of jerks, I hope Floke is alright, poor little guy. Floke: Ugh....huh? Who are you callin little, I bet I could take you on anyday! *Floke starts throwing punches at Basil only to realize that Basil is holding him by his Tunic preventing any damage. The 3 elves laugh in joy. Basil: Come on Floke, you've proven that you can join our party, you helped us out over there. Thnaks buddy, lets get goin'. *The fairy and the 3 elves continue down the path until they reach a dense forest and a road leading around it. Basil: Now which one should we take? The forest is much shorter, but may be more dangerous, while the road is longer and holds less threats to us. Well, which one then?
The Harlequin
Ilmiwyrth: ...Let me get this straight. This world measures maturity on age? Neuvox: Of course. Ilmiwyrth almost shuddered. Ilmiwyrth: Childhood must have been horrible. Neuvox: Oh? And what was yours like? Ilmiwyrth: Simple. In my realm, when you're a child, people underestimate you, so it's easy to kill them, and not be a child. Neuvox: So you attain maturity through stealing energy from others? Ilmiwyrth: We prefer the terms "reiving", or "looting from a mangled corpse", but that's basically the idea. Neuvox: And how long did it take you to mature? Ilmiwyrth: Fully? About a week. Neuvox: And I suppose that was quite recently, all things considered. Ilmiwyrth: Actually my dear, I'm quite a bit older than you are. Neuvox: Then you should catch on just fine. Ilmiwyrth: To this? Trust me, that's the last thing I want to do.
Raiha
She smiled broadly and he picked her up. Without warning, she leaned down and kissed his cheek. If a Baalor could blush, he would've. She grinned and they continued walking down the street. She pointed out vaious exotic sights, he responded with minimal interest. Neuvox rolled her eyes and they finally crossed the entire length of the city. Once on the outskirts, the two sat on the ledges and watched the people below. Ilmiwyrth: Such meaningless lives. You eat sleep, and are afraid of dying. How do you cope? Neuvox: ...some get religion. Then they eat sleep, and look forward to dying. Ilmiwyrth: What about you? Neuvox: I have about 300 years left...what's to worry about? I just want to get what I deserve.
Sandy
Catmint shook his head as he flew to his home in Bellevia village. Catmint: "How did it end up like this?!" One minute he was asking a volunteer to penetrate Titania's court, and the next that airheaded excuse for a fairy called Sakura had asked why he didn't do it! So there he was, volunteering to risk his life for the people. Catmint: "I thought leading was just giving orders, and letting others do the dirty work..." When he reached his mushroom-roofed mansion, he gave up the sulking and began to plan the project. Luckily the others were coming the next day to give him a hand. After three hours of thinking and poundering he finally went to bed, and the whole night he had nightmares about a monstrous queen eating him alive.
The Harlequin
Ilmiwyrth: And I have until some ambitious whelp with enough sense to catch me off guard does me in. Or until I become so unassailably strong that life simply gets boring and I throw my life force in the middle of some maelstrom or dungeon for some brave hero to capture and recover. Neuvox: You wouldn't make a good legend. Ilmiwyrth: Oh? All the elements are there. I'm not a pure breed, so there was obviously racial discrimination. I'm on the surface away from all the nasty evil demons, so I'm obviously merely a misunderstood being trying to atone for what his race has done. A doer of deeds, and a teller of tales. Neuvox: You almost sounded sincere for a minute there. Ilmiwyrth: Call it a character defect. Neuvox: Gladly. Ilmiwyrth laugh in morbid appreciation, and returned to his intense evaluation of the city and its sentients. Neuvox caught his fixation, and raised an eyebrow. Neuvox: Are you sure you're not planning an invasion? Spying out routes for your forces to attack? Ilmiwyrth: If I was, all "my forces" would have to do would be to leap down off this ledge. Neuvox: Strange, I don't see them anywhere. Ilmiwyrth: Yes you do. Neuvox: Confident, aren't we? Ilmiwyrth: Slightly bored actually. I do get bored, and quite easily. So, did you have anywhere in mind to start looking first, or did you want to sit here in some misguided nostalgia a while longer?
Raiha
She pulled a small scroll from her belt, unrolled it and dropped it into his hands. He glanced it over, then handed it back with a look of disgust. She grinned. Apparently, he had never learned how to read Urscript. Ilmiwyrth: Well? Neuvox: ...it basically says that the foolish enter here and are destroyed. But the wise enter and leave unscathed. Let's go. Ilmiwyrth: In what direction?!? Neuvox: North dear. Straight north. Ilmiwyrth: Dear? Neuvox: It's a tie over from my forest days as a child. You'll get used to it. Ilmiwyrth: Fates forbid. Neuvox: Don't allow me to disturbe you. And with that, she placed her hands on his neck, as she was already on his shoulders, and gently stroked the sides of his throat with her nails. He ignored it as best he could and started walking.
The Harlequin
Ilmiwyrth: If you're looking for a pulse, then you'll not get very far. Neuvox: Why would I be looking for a pulse? Ilmiwyrth: So you know where to dig in. Neuvox: Alright...Why would I not succeed in finding a pulse then? Neuvox suddenly found herself hitting the ground quite hard, and semi incased in some kind of half darkness. Then the half darkness moved away, and she realised it was Ilmiwyrth. Ilmiwyrth: Because as a basically incorpreal being, a pulse is pretty redundant my dear. He picked her up again, and dropped her on his shoulders. He kept walking, a slight smile crossing his inky features as she muttered to herself. Neuvox: You can do that at will? Ilmiwyrth: Actually, being solid is the act of will. Shadow state is natural. Neuvox: Can you interact with other objects in that state? Ilmiwyrth: You're thinking I'd make an excellent thief in that state, aren't you? Neuvox: So? Answer the question. Ilmiwyrth: No. I can easily kill other beings, shadows being a form of Unlife, but I can't interact. Physical boundries aren't a problem though. Neuvox: Why am I still alive then? Ilmiwyrth: Because it wouldn't do to have a dead thing inside my leg when I re-solidified.
Raiha
Neuvox: A dead thing. Your words of description dazzle me. Ilmiwyrth: It's a gift. You seem to offer little more. Neuvox: Mm, I suppose interaction between the species of alll, unlimited and flawless memory, and clairvoyance are less than at your level? Ilmiwyrth: Very well. You have skills I don't posess. But your stature doesn't do much to add to your fearsomeness. Neuvox: Where's the goodness in that? When you're my size, people tend to underestimate you. Then it's far easier to take them apart limb by limb. And this is...after all...a transitional state. Eventually I'll grow into my real self. Ilmiwyrth: Still furry I suppose? Neuvox: No, a dryad. A fully grown one with ....certain abilities...that I don't posess just yet. More like a reverse echo of them. She smiled and stroked the side of his face. His scent was delightful, the sweet cloying smell of death. Something she had always found delicious, if somewhat deadly.
Geist
"I'm not sure if you guys are in a hurry or not, but I am. I have another mission to take care of for the king after this one, so I say we move through the forest. Besides, if there's any danger, we can take care of it, just like those bandits." "He's right. We did defeat them pretty easily." Deadrock said with pride. "Do you choose the forest as well, Kilika?" Basil asked. Kilika nodded. "Alright then, the forest it is." The elves and the fairy moved through the shaded forest. Floke, being the fastest of the three, scouted ahead. "Do you see anything yet, Floke?" "No, I don't. There's nothing around here so far." Floke turned around to make sure the elves were still following behind him. He then flew into the mouth of a black, furry beast and it swallowed him whole. His muffled screams from inside the beast's belly, could barely be heard.
The Harlequin
Ilmiwyrth gave a wry smile, and reached out, his long fingered, taloned hand tracing a thin line down the side of her cheek. He was nice enough not to draw blood though. Now what in hell was he doing with a metamorphic faun sitting there stroking him? Strange, this normally didn't happen.... Ilmiwyrth didn't intend to pursue that thought. He looked at her closely, realised exactly what she was doing. He wasn't aware that he was exuding any kind of scent, but she seemed to picking something up. And she seemed to like it. He wasn't going to pursue that thought either. Of course, that was nothing compared to the more than slightly worrying knowledge that his father would probably approve.

Neuvox: Unerving? Ilmiwyrth: Yes. Neuvox: Get used to it. She pointed ahead. In the far distance, he could see something that looked like a village. Or at least a large house. Krillen
OOC: The only people who are really posting is Sage, Raiha, The Harlequin, Giest, and Myself. But as long as it keeps this RPG alive I guess it will do. I dont meen to point out anyone. Sage, if you dont want this to die out, I suggest PMing some of the members to remind them that they are a part of this RPG and they aigned up to participate in it. Just a suggestion. :) ----------------------------------------------------- *The beast came from the shadows and snarled at the Elve's showing no signs of Floke. The pig-like beast plowed strait throught Basil and away from the party. Basil readied(sp?) his bow and show the pig in th behind. It yelped and turned around giving a violent, threatening scowl. The 3 elve's looked at eachother, then back at the pig as it charged them. Basil shot an arrow at point blank into the pigs head, but it charged on, knocking Basil to the ground as it trampled over him. Kilika was right behind Basil and jabbed his long sword into the pigs side, almost going all the way through. The pig knocked Kilika aside as he hit his head on a tree and passes out. Deadrock becomes fit with anger and takes his broad sword and swings it as hard as he can att he beast. The pig gets chopped in two. As the pig's two halves flutter about, Floke is seen crawling from outside of the beasts slit open stomach. Floke: *Cough*Gasp-Yuckkk!! Deadrock: Oh my god, your alive, are you alright?! Floke: Yah I'm fine, I didnt know what happened, I was soon in darkness. Then everything got slimy and I couldnt breathe. Thanks alot. *Basil and Kilika arise from the ground with bruises all over. Basil: Ugh.....what a dumb animal. Alright lets get going. The outside of the forest shouldnt be too far away. --------------------------------- Heres a Map of where we are, we are a bit south of the Marsh, to the east of the Summer Palace. The Harlequin
Ilmiwyrth: I'd rather go drink. Would they serve Scurrd there? Neuvox: Do they serve what? Ilmiwyrth: I take it you've never had that particular experience? Neuvox: Is that a bad thing? Ilmiwyrth: Depends on where you prefer to wake up, and how long you prefer it to take before you do so. It's a particular brew made on my plain. Basically, it's everything that could possibly wreck you through into a surprisingly nice taste. For about a second. Then it starts to burn, normally in ways you don't want to know about. Neuvox: Am I stuck with an alcoholic? Ilmiwyrth: What are you talking about? I can't get drunk. Neuvox: Convenient. Ilmiwyrth: So? Ilmiwyrth devoted the next few silent minutes to determining exactly what he would do if the village decided it didn't want a greater baalor inhabiting it. The results probably wouldn't be pretty.
