This is an announce ment to all of the people who live in the general U.K. area. I will be taking a TRIP there, on an AIRPLANE, to dance and sing with my dance troupe. If you live in any of the following places, come see me and my friends perform! I'll give you chop sticks and stuff.

So, here's the high up on the down low.

I'll be there on Aug. 22, landing in...uh....a place of some sort.

I will be performing in;

Liverpool [yay Beatles]
Manchester
Cambridge [I think, not quite sure]
Ireland [if my leader pulls through]
and finally....
London.

So if you all live anywhere in that area....come see me! Take pictures, smile for the camera, post them in the Picture forum!

But MOSTLY for you UK people, what should I pack? My leaders have no idea.

London is the best (:p), but also particularly big. Tell me where in London/when you're going to be there and I'll [strike]stalk[/strike] meet you. I want chopsticks.. Oo;

Pack lots of chopsticks. They're always very good.

Okay, I know, I KNOW, DAMMIT! I'm NOT a Brit, but none of them would ever think of this since it's their own country. Find one of those translation dictionaries and bring it along, in case you get confused on some British words.
Who calls a vacation a holiday anyways...? And why is "bangs" suddenly "fringe"? Our hair isn't made from old cloths that are coming apart!! Don't forget your crazy Naughts and Crosses which is tic tac toe. ;) Ahem. Yeah.

We're staying in Youth With A Mission [YWAM] facilities, no hotels until we get to London. So I'm assuming, it's like......YMCA facilities. Whatever that's supposed to mean.
The weather's been fairly good recently, can't guarantee that during your stay though. And can I just say that our English was here first ^_^.

BTW, where in Ireland you going to? Belfast or Dublin?
You say it like those are the only two places to go to, lol. Tipperary! *trails off*

The weather in London has been very, very hot by our standards. By yours, it could be just like spring weather. Oo;

Yes.. I need chopsticks o.o

As for the weather, it's pretty much random and spontaneous and stuff. You can rarely rely on the weatherpeople for a whole day's update. So basically bring clothes for all weather o.o

If I do get to meet you (which is like 75-85% likely), I'll be sure to bring some Penguin chocolate bars for your group, lol. The things are like 33% caffiene, 33% sugar, and 34% chcocolate or something o.O

And I don't know about you, Roxie, but I'd rather have my hair get confused with 'old cloths coming apart' than with um..yeah ¬.¬

I'll be sure to tell my cousin to see you perform. She's going to Manchester in August, soo...

I'm not too sure about now, but I remember the weather being pretty similar to San Francisco. o.o;

Have fun! ^^

Wow, they care. But for cold weather...I have a matching skirt and wrap. Plaid....or is that Plad? I have no idea. Anyways, it's double linned, so if it snows/rains, I'll be really warm. Somehow...I'm begining to wonder just how many outfits I'll need to pack. Damn. Why can't the weather be predictable?!?!? *goes out to buy more chopsticks*

You'd be very lucky if it snows in August- we hardly ever get it in December (at least, down south we don't). It's likely to be fairly hot and more than likely wet from time to time. As August is coming towards the end of summer it's likely to be quite temperate. I think. But no snow. It's not that cold here ^_^; Take something you'd usually wear and then a jacket or jumper to put on top if it gets colder or rains, I'd advise. And jeans, because you never really know what could happen.

Grr. Why couldn't you come to Portsmouth? *grumbles*

Wow, the woman who 'pulled me through the wall' in the Battle Arena is pushing through the UK boundaries.

Well, seeing as my birthday is in August, my mother or father will probably treat me to go up there. I dont know why Ger and Ajeh need chop sticks because you can steal them from China Town ~_^.

However, bring a camera amongst all else. Some of the sights you are going to witness are quite fantastic, you'll no doubt be seeing me in London. Please do not perform in Camden, that means Ajeh'll be there... again. ^_~.

And the ultimate accessory of all singers, a spare microphone. just bring it anyway.

I've always thought that "bangs" has many more negative connotations than "fringe". Fringe is more descriptive, too. Bangs just sounds silly. :worried: :wigout:

But, really, you should be alright with language stuff. Understanding different accents is more of a problem than actually working out what people are saying. And if you read Harry Potter, you're halfway to understanding English anyway. ~_^

Considering I've read all of C.S. Lewis's junk, all the Harry Potter books, the original 101 Dalmations, and have a book full of English classics...I think I'll be okay on that aspect. Although I do remember.....when you are full of food, you are no longer hungry, you are not "stuffed." [pregnant and not married.]

*has a quick vision of getting strip searched and arrested at San Francisco international Airport* Oo.

If I brought a gun *cough* Concealed Weapon *cough* I would probably get my åss beated by my team leader. Not only would I cause us to miss our flight, I'd also set a bad example for the rest of the group. But I still wouldn't mind bringing my knife. :devil:

Anyways, Chopstics, clothes for all weathers, blooks, umbrella, and uh....a gun. Gotcha.
