All this (and more) was discussed in a recent Matrix thread. If you're going to talk about the end of the movie, talk about it in the other thread.

By the way, please check the second page of this forum before starting a new thread. Someone else probably started the exact same topic not so long ago.

Ok my friends and I have been debateing over The Matrix Realoaded..

Over how Neo zapped those sentienels.. I keep thinking that it has something to do with Agent Smith cause Neo gave him something.. ( He is free) and I think that what Neo got from Smith was control over the sentienels.. I dont know how but thats what i think at least.. What are your opinions or are you just gonna wait for Revolutions to come out.

The first thing that I came up with after seeing the movie is that the "real world" is just another matrix. My friend thought so too, but now i'm having second thoughts. I just don't see what the point of that would be.

In the movie he said that he could "feel them." Them being the sentinals.

Number 1- I think that when Smith attempted to copy himself into Neo, Neo somehow got the ability to create an EMP pulse through his body. That is sure what it looked like.

Number Two- When Neo defied the prophesy and saved Trinity he actually became the One in the real world.

Number C- When Neo did his Super Speed thing toward the end, where he was dragging the cars and everything in his wake, he awakened some part of his brain that gives one super human powers. A kind of telekinetic thing or something.

Okay, this is really strange. o_O For one, why is Endymon's post going ahead of Majin Buu's? Secondly, why didn't this thread close? Something isn't right here..

By the way, the reason Neo stopped the sentitnals was because they are controlled by the machines through the Matrix. In the first movie, you'll notice the agents asking if the sentinals were sent, because they are programmers who can control such hardware connected to the system. Neo was able to use his "one" powers against them because they were part of the Matrix, but since he wasn't in the Matrix, and you can't bend rules in the real world, he had to pay the concequence -- passing out.
