I suggest trying to make them from other time areas, almost everyone is somewhere in the year 2000, so spread it out a little IC: Cross and Cay returned to the place where their friends were, and noticed that Sakura was already with them. "That was fast, what happened?" "I came to your side because I chose to." Sakura replied. This annoyed Cross, since he had to do all the fighting. "Excellent, we can now divide into three and get the next group." Cross looked around at his team, deciding who would go best with who. "Thomas, you will go with...Cay." Cross had a suspicion that this man had something sinister in mind, but the young girl was more than a match for him, he was certain. "Enix...you go alone." He felt that since Enix was experienced with his Dragon Soul, he could take another one on one. "Sakura, you will come with me. Now, there are 3 others that I have recieved data on, and they exist in different time periods. Thomas and Kay, your target is a man named Dango, a genetic superhuman, so be careful. Enix, your target is a young lady named Saina, she is of a stronger element than yourself, but your experience should be able to beat her power. Go!" Two portals opened up and the groups jumped in. "What about us?" Sakura asked. "We are looking for Tamika Winters, she is quite powerful and skilled, so be on your guard." The last portal opened and the duo jumped in... Cay walked a small distance away from Thomas. He was..... well..... ver odd. She had an uneasy feeling about him, but didn't want him to see that. "So, what really are you?" She asked half laughing. "Your not normal looking thats for sure." She laughed again. Thomas just glared at her and started mumbling something under his breath. "lets just find this dango person. What an odd name. "Saina is close by but it seems that tahu does not want too get to close to her so that must mean she's A water element" jacen said to him self. He looked around the roof and had A feeling that she was to the west so he ran across the roof tops to look for her. "I will not fight her unless I have to. "And what if I do" saina asked as she unraveled her whip. "Then you'll have to come with me" enix said as he prepared for the attack. "I'm not comeing just because you say so" saina said as she tryed to strike enix with her whip but he managed to move out of the way. "Nice shot but let's see if you can handle this" enix said as he pulled out his brass knuckles and put them on. He jumped back and saina said "what are ya doing, running away" and enix replied "no, I want to see if you can handle this." He started punching anf fire balls started flying twoards saina. She avoided them but one got close enough to burn some of her hair."What was that" saina asked as she put away her whip and pulled out her kantana. "O.k, so you want to do close up fighting" enix said as he put away his brass knuckles and pulled out his sword. They charged at each other with their sword raised and started fighting. "This is not going to be easy" she thought. She then said "I call for the power of syse" as her eyes started to glow blue. She put away the kantana and withdrew her whip and stuck the ground and called her attack rageing tsunami. A tornado of water started comeing out of the spot where saina had struck the ground and headed for enix. It didn't hit him completley but enough to throw him to the ground. "See you do have A dragon soul, and if you don't mind i'll show you mine" enix said as he got up off the ground. "I call upon tahu to give me his power" enix called out as his sword was covered in flames. "Even though I use fire, fighting you will increase my strength against water" enix said as he attacked. Saina did another attack and enix did A flame shot but the flame shot only weakend the attack. "It's time to end this" enix said. Enix then said "tahu increase your power" as he was incased in fire and the only thing that could be seen was orange spots that saina could only guess was his eyes. "I figure I only do this when it's needed or I get ticked of enough" enix said as he called his attack pyro wave. Saina was able to cut the attack by half with her own but was still knocked down. When enix's power was gone he had to lean onto his sword for support. "If I can get power like that then I will join you" saina said as she breathed heavily. "Good, you can rest until cross and the others get here. Untill then you can ask me any thing you need to know" jacen said as he sat down and took A rest. And if you don't mind I might post a new character on the recruitment page. Don't worry he won't be as weird.. I hope. Hehehe, I already have what he is formulated. Now I just got to put a name to him. Allow me a cruel chuckle *chuckles cruely* IC: Thomas snorted. Dango, what a name, and a.. a cyborg. Whatever that was he didn't know, he just wondered if it was eatable. He was really hungry and now saw everyone he came into contact as a piece of venison. He began to wonder if these other people ever ate. He still had no clue as to what was going on, he was just going along for the ride hoping to catch a meal. He knew he was in a different time period again, but he didn't know which one. He didn't care. He was eyballing this Cay girl hungerly now. Occasionally the girl would shoot a look his way, and he would quickly advert his attention to something else. He didn't want her to know he was thinking of her as a meal as well. "She is definetely here, come..." Cross began to walk towards the athletic complex and looked at the massive lacrosse field. He saw many girls were practicing their best shots, but Cross also noticed an unnatural wind. ...Dragon Soul Zephoria identified...Tamika Winters within 30'... "She is definetely here..." A whistle blew and the girls went for the locker room, each one giving Cross a strange look as they went by. The last girl apprached more slowly... ...Energy receptors rising...Tamika Winters within 10'... Tamika looked at Cross, but then he spoke. "Wait..." Tamika stopped to look at him. I can't wait to see what you do in the game tomorrow." "Uhh...yeah." She waited until everyone else had gone and pulled her blade out of a storage room. If she was going to face this guy, she'd at least have her weapon. She walked back out onto the field. He and the girl were still standing there. "What do you want? Cross noticed that the girl was carrying a large blade, he hoped to avoid conflict. "What are you..." "I am from the future, I need your help to save the world. You must be aware of your power..." "I don't know what you're talking about!" "Why do you lie? I only need your help..." "Shut up!" She pulled out her blade and dashed forward, but her hit was blocked by an energy field. "Fine...we do this the hard way..." Cross sent out an energy wave which knocked her back. "Time Shot..." Cross thrust his palms forward and blew the girl back with an extra powerful Time Shot. "What now?" The young girl Sakura asked him. "Stand back..." Cross cautioned as the girl began to get up. Strangely enough, it was more like she was being lifted up, her body began to glow green and two crescent shaped blades shot out of her body. Crosss made no attempt to dodge them and they sliced past his face, one flying up, the other to the side. "This is that power, do you not see?" Cross asked of the girl. "Yes...but why do you need me?" "The world will be ending around the year 4000. I need your help to save it." "I see...your face!" Tami looked as Cross began bleeding from the right eye. Her blades had slashed a cross shaped scar over his right eye. "It's all right..." Being a genetic breed, Cross had a very high threshold for pain. "Then, what is your descision?" She rushed into the changing room, then came out a few minutes later in her normal clothes. "Do not worry about your future, after this is over I can send you back here." Cross opened the portal and jumped in, Tami and Sakura following. They arrived in Cross' home base, the year 4000 and Cross motioned to a woman scientist, she spoke with a thick French accent. "Monsieur Cross, did you suceed in finding ze subjects?" "Only 50% of main operations have been completed, I am required to travel to the ather subjects to pick them up from their current assignments." "Excellent, you may go and find ze last of zem. He'd be about like my two characters, except chowing down on us more.. literally. IC: Thomas looked around. "Where is this wiebchen? I do not like this, he should be easier to find." He complained. Cay looked at him, "I don't know where he is, and what kind of accent is that?" Thomas wheeled around on her. "It's German you English pig dog! Now I would be watching myself if I were you! I'm quite hungry and you seem to be about the only eatable thing around here!" Thomas practically yelled. He started walking away from this girl again. He wanted to find food. His face fell into the brown leaves. "This is so boring without a family..." He said. "I'm to old for this...I'm so bored. Life is so boring..." He rolled over and looked up. He jumped into the next portal, his target was a young man in the middle ages named Milo Baer. His occupation was listed as "squire" Cross was uncertian as to what that was but knew that the boy had to have some fighting prowess. He dropped out in the middle of a field, there were bodies and holes in the ground everywhere. Cross looked around, and then followed the trail to where he believed that the victors were going. IC: Thomas saw the whatever hurt the tree and became very enraged. Without thinking he used his powers and let the tree get it's revenge. The tree swung a branch around and struck the cyborg fully in the chest, knocking him back. Thomas walked up to the person and looked down at him. "You're coming with us whether you are hungry or not!" He snarled. Then with the hilt of his sword he smashed Dango across the face, knocking him out. He then relayed their new orders. Thomas would be going alone to acquire a man named Alazar Corrupto. Enix, Sakura, Cay and Dango would be going to acquire a man named Oni Yorimasa in Neo Tokyo. Cross ordered Tami and Saina to come with him to find their young man. The girls appeared a moment later and they all decided to follow the trail of destruction. Cross arrived ahead of the others, and noticed a small armed compound. "The boy is inside, we cannot enter due to danger of combat." "So what do we do?" Tami asked. "We wait, but perhaps I can find some way to signal the boy..." Cross pressed his palms together, then began to emit a wave of energy that he hoped the boy could detect... "Well then how about we go out to look for him in teams" dango said as he was practicing his punches. "Fine then, cay your with me and dango your with sakura. Also I talked to cross and he says he is part demon with A sword that can kill any one who isn't A demon" evean said but the others didn't like the guy their after all ready. "What element is he" cay asked and enix replied he's A machine type so be on your gaurde." They left and they all hoped that they wouldn't be the first team to find oni. He was beginning to think that he was the oldest member around. He gave a resigned sigh, he hadn't been able to snatch any food while he was here, he could only hope that this next person he had to find had some food. He stepped through the portal and was zapped back in time to 1736. After the rush of being zapped about 3000 years back in time Thomas looked around. He was on a island, or what he presumed to be an island because the trees and ocean. He walked along the beach/tree line and eventually saw a small fire. He slowly krept up to it and saw a man with blazing red hair eating something, it was meat. Thomas suddenly became aware that he was very hungry still. So he calmly walked up to the man. "Oh.. 'ello!" The man said between bites, then gave a suspicious look. "Wha' do you want?" "I am merely somebody stranded here, like yourself, and I'm very hungry, do you think you could spare some meat?" Thomas asked. The man gave him a look. "Firs' wha's your name?" "I'm Thomas Hidenburg" he replied with a low bow. "Eh? Is tha' so? Well Tommy, I'm Captain Alazar Corrupto, but me mates just call me Al, or well they did." "What do you mean by that?" "I mean, here, have a taste of me mates," Al said, handing Thomas a slab of meat. "It's a rib, sure it may have belonged to a man, but after he was killed I don't think he would miss it much aye?" Thomas didn't ask questions, he didn't care what kind of meat it was, he was hungry so he happily ate the meat. "So, Al, I was wondering if you would like to get off this rock?" "Would I? Yer damn right I would! Sure I've been making fine meals out of me ship mates, but it can only go so far! But how do you suppose we do it?" Al asked. "Well you killed your men with rocks right?" "Yeah," "Well, it's because there is some soul or other rubbish inside of you giving you these powers, I was sent here to take you to the future to save the world." Thomas explained. "What?" Al asked confused. "The world is going to end in the year 4000 or something like that." "That's... uh.. 1...2...3.. 3000 years from now at least! What do I care what happens then? I'll be dead!" He walked down the alley at a slow pace, trying to hide his massive demon arm under a cape. As he rounded the corner, he saw a young man and a little girl. "Oh? Are you lost, children?" He asked with an evil grin. "Hey, it's you!" The girl cried out in surprise. "So it is, Cross sent you, correct?" "How did you...?" "Cross is something of...an old friend." "What?" "Well, whatever he has planned, it is worthless. I, on the other hand, believe that this power could go more easily toward world domination...It is pointless to try to help the world after it is gone... so I think it would be a lot simpler to save the world by taking it over!" "What are you talking about?!" The boy cried out in a rage. "Oh, I apologize, we haven't introduced ourselves properly... You must be Cay and Enix, correct?" Oni threw off the cape revealing his demon arm. "I am Oni Yorimasa, and you have the honour of being killed by me!" Oni rushed forward and tried to smash Cay, but she jumped out of the way and pulled out her glaive. Enix tried to dash forward, but Oni balanced himself on his arm and kicked him in the face. Cay dashed forward and tried to stab, but Oni jumped off his arm and kicked her in the back of the head. Enix got up, but Oni sweep kicked him causing him to fly into the air, then he did a heel kick while Enix was still in the air. The impact caused Enix to spin around several times in the air before hitting the ground, unconcious. Cay dashed Oni from behind, but he jumped up, bounced off a wall and dropckicked her in the face. Then he did a backflip kick, knocking her high into the air, then he finished it off with an explosive thrust kick which sent Cay crashing through a window. Oni looked at Enix, then he pulled out his sword. He looked at Enix for a second, and then changed his mind, he would be more entertained if they lived to fight another day... "That's it, I call upon tahu to give me his power" enix said as he got up. "Pyro blade ignite" enix said as he with drew his sword. "Now how do you know cross" enix said as he tried to strike oni. "I'll tell when the time is right and when I fell like it" oni said as he moved away from the attack. It took almost all of enixs strength to hold of the attacks by oni did. "What A weak fool you are. We should be useing these powers to rule the world" oni said as he started laughing. "I'm not out trying to rule any thing" enix said as he looked at oni. "I will not and I can not lose to people like you. I call upon tahu to increase his power" enix said as he was surounded by flames. "Man that hurts" cay said as she got up and looked out of the window. "Hey is that enix out there" she said as she saw oni fighting against A persion made of fire. She then rembered what cross told her about enix and his power. "Here is A new attack I created. Sea of flames strike" enix said as he swung his sword and A wave of fire went twoards oni. When the fire hit him, oni didn't even flinch. "Nice try but you still need practice" oni said as he tossed A boulder at enix. Enix moved out of the way as cay came out of the house. "O.k, let's see how he likes this" cay said as she shocked oni. It only seemed to fase him A bit. He then picked up A boulder and tossed it at her. "Wall of fire" enix said as he moved infront of her. A wall of fire came up and melted the bolder. The flame that surrounded enix was starting to fade away as oni was smilling. "You shouldn't stand to close to me because i'm about to do A attack that takes up A lot of energy to create enix said to cay and she replied "are you sure you can do it with your power so low" as she walked away. Enix just smiled and called out his attack pyro destruction and shot it at oni. Oni seemed to be able to hold of the attack until cay shot her attack in as well. Oni just said "you two did A good try but it wasn't good enough" as he left with his cape on. "Hey enix, do you think you could show me how to do that thing where you become surrounded by power" cay asked and enix replied "maybe I can or maybe I can't but i'll try." It had been a quick, but bloody skirmish. The knights had already taken care of their wounded and they were now celebrating in their newly captured fort. It seemed to be like the feeling he had when he was fighting, but different somehow. Outside, he saw a boy, and two maidens. He looked ahead and saw two other friends of Cross. He could tell because he could sense the energies emenating from their bodies. He walked up behind the young girl, who didn't notice him, and he attacked her. "Oniken!" Oni called upon his attack and sent a wave of power out through his demon arm, knocking the girl into a building. He looked at the man, who wheeled to face him. "Do you think you can do any better than your friends?" Cross looked at the young man. "I was the one that called you here. I have something very important to tell you. The world will end in about 3000 years from now, and I believe you have the power to help me stop it." "What are you talking about?" "I need you to come with me, you may not have felt it yet, but you have a great power within you." "I don't know what you are talking about!" The youth drew his sword.
