"Who is this guy" akira asked as they attacked oni. He's out to kill us but his partner in't here for some reasion" enix said as he tried to strike oni. Akira took one of the support beams for the roof and threw it at oni. Enix shot A flame at the beams to turn it into a spear while cay shot lighting to distract oni. The spear hit oni and nocked him down. When oni tried to get up cross and mira struck him down again. "Oni I thought the next form was supposed to be better than the last. I thought this form would of been able to with stand the attacks" cay said smilling. Oni got up and charged them.

Arielle stared on helplessly. She had no weapons and couldn't possibly help Oni. Or could she? She stared at one girl, slightly apart from everyone else, holding a very large blade. She concentrated a little and shot a beam or pure energy at her. The girl was thrown backward by the force and stood the face her. Arielle smiled a bit and prepared for another attack.

Tami was a little dazed, but could still fight. She looked at Oni, then Arielle, then back at Oni. Should she help her friends or accept Arielle's challenge? She looked at her friends, hoping one of them would help.

[Wondershot]

"I've got to do something..." Cross thought as Oni nearly sliced Tiga in two, he looked over and saw Arielle face to face with Tami, he dashed over and grabbed Arielle, pressing Seeker to her throat.
"ONI!" He yelled.
"Leave now, or she dies!"

Oni looked over and saw Arielle being threatened by Cross, he could feel his blood boil, he wasn't going to lose her, but then he heard Enix whisper something.
"I thought she wasn't supposed to die..."
"Oh, ho!" Oni crowed. "I almost fell for your bluff! Congratulations, you will die!" He drove the spear forward, and Cross had no choice but to drop Arielle and jump out of the way. Suddenly Oni reverted back to his normal form, and sent out a wave of power which paralyzed everyone except Arielle. She rushed up to him.
"Oni! Take me home, immediatement!" Oni nodded, and opened up the portal which she jumped into, but he stayed behind.
"How about we do this differently..." He said as he drew his sword, the sword had tiny barbs witch pierced his hand, causing blood to drip down the sword.
"Why don't we fight like men, I will fight Cross...alone." Cross looked up, then led Oni down to the sub basement arena, telling everyone just to "watch..."

However, he sent a message to them just as he was about to leave...
"Go find Arielle..."

"Time to do some work" enix said as he looked around. He found a computer that wasn't distroyed in a room. "O.k let's see what we have here" enix said as he started typeing. "What are you doing" thomas asked. "I'm trying to find where oni sent arielle. If the base has any food you two can raid the place" enix said to thomas and al. The two of them just smilled.
"I've found it" enix said as a portale opened up. "I've set another portale to open up 40 minutes after this one closes to bring us back so let's go" enix said as he jumped in with the others following leaving oni and cross behind.

Cross stood about 5 feet away from Oni, out of the corner of his eye he saw the rest of the group above him, Enix had managed to find Arielle, excellent.
"Well, it's certainly been a long time, Cross." Oni said, seeming to calm down.
"What interest is it of yours? You left me for dead."
"It was either you, or me. If I had known something like this were to happen, I would have sacrificed myself for you. Do you think you would get that kind of close brotherhood from anyone else?"
"..."
"I didn't think so, we are very unique, but still very much the same, we only want the best for this world."
"Then why do you wish to kill us?"
"Oh, you hadn't told them what's going to happen to them yet?"
"..."
"If they dont know what's going to happen, then... Oh, Cross, you cowardly snake, how could you let this happen? You should have just killed them and saved yourself the trouble."
"Shut up!"
"Don't you see? That is the difference between you and I, you pretend to be solely logical, when you only try to hide your inferiority! En garde!" Oni rushed forward and tried to slice Cross, but he dodged to the side and brought Seeker down, pinning Oni's weapon to the floor.
"Don't be afraid, if that is your goal either way, I can help you..." Cross swung madly but missed, and Oni took advantage and made a square hit to the stomach. Cross recoiled in agony, and clutched his waist. Oni just laughed.
"Well, how about that? You have my blood, now." Cross looked down and saw that the blood from Oni's stained sword was now mixing with his own.
"That is the secret of Katana No Kijin, the victim is infected with my blood, and dies..." Cross lunged forward with his charged Time Blade, and slashed Oni hard in the arm, which began to bleed profusely. Oni just laughed.
"I have no reason to fight. I've already won!" Cross held the Time Blade close to Oni's throat.
"Go ahead, kill me, you've already lost." Cross retracted the blade, and stood back...
Circulatory system in critical condition...blood coagulation rate increasing...critical mass will be achieved in 10 seconds...initiating emergency procedure...
Cross looked up, then smiled at Oni.
"You know, I couldn't have killed you either way."
"And why not?" To answer, Cross spit Oni's blood, which had been removed mechanically from his system, onto the ground, Oni just stared.
"Well, you may be able to bypass my poison...but..." suddenly a portal opened up behind him.
"Your friends won't be able to!" He jumped in and it closed behind him.
"Damn." Cross said to himself, he rushed upstairs to check on the group's location. He figured that Oni and Arielle wouldn't be able to beat all of them, so instead, he had decided to go after their next target...

Jumal rode through the desert on his horse, thinking about what he was going to do next, he was hungry, and hoped to find a dying animal, or better yet, a dying person along the road. Suddenly there was a flash of blue light before him, and he was thrown from his horse. A young man with a scarred face stepped out, and Jumal drew his scimitar, looking quite pleased at his next meal...

The portale opened and they came into oni's base. Enix looked around and they were in mess hall. "That figures" enix said. "Well you two can raid the place of the food" enix said looking at thomas and al. They ran into the kictchen and strated any thing ediable. Come on we need to find oni and arielle" tami said as she walked into a hallway. The others followed.
"Shouldn't we wait for our fellow warriors" milo asked. "Let them be they'll be fine. They like gorging them selves" enix said as he looked around the hall. "It kind of reminds me of a millatary base" cay said. "Wel be on your gayrd. Arielle and oni are probaply in here some where" enix said checking a room.l

Arielle watched them around a corner, silently cursing to herself. Without Oni, she had no way of getting rid of them. She crept quietly into a nearby room and waited, hoping no one would find her.

They continued to check rooms as they went. Most of the rooms were emptey or had supplies."Hold on. I herd some thing move" tiga said looking around. "It was probaply a rat or some thing. Who knows what's in this base" sakura said. Cay looked into a room and aimed her glaive at some thing. "Hey guys I think we found one of our targets" cay said to the others.
The others came over. "It's the maiden from before who oni brought with him" milo said. "Is he going to keep that knight stuff up untill this is finished" enix said shaking his head. "Come on arielle your out numbered and if you don't we'll feed you to thomas and al" enix said. "I thought we're not supposed to kill her" saina asked. "No but they would eat her no matter what we say. Tami and cay keep a eye on her" enix said.

[Wondershot]

"Man, this is boring, where the heck is Oni?" Cay said, annoyed.
"It's probably better that we hope that we don't find him." Tami added.
"If he finds us here, we're dead." Arielle looked up from the corner.
"Do you want to know where Oni is?" She asked innocently, if a little annoyed.
"Where is he?" Cay asked, pointing her glaive at Arielle's throat.
"Close your eyes." Cay glared at her, but Tami made her put the glaive down. Cay closed her eyes too. Suddenly another voice, not Arielle, spoke.
"Now, open them." Cay jumped back in shock as she saw Oni standing right there! Arielle was already up, and standing next to him, Oni began to laugh evilly...

Meanwhile, the group was still looking for Oni, when an announcement came through the public adress. Everyone looked up in shock, it was Arielle.
"Your attention please, would all of our guests please report immediatement to ze roof, that is of course, if you want to see your friends alive again..." Enix looked at Saina in confusion, when another voice came through the system.
"I suggest you do it."
"ONI!" Enix cried out in shock, he rushed madly up the stairs two at a time...

Oni was waiting on the roof of the complex, his demon arm around Arielle, Cay and Tami had been bound and gagged in front of them.
"What are you doing, you monster!!" Enix shouted in outrage.
"Simply, my job." Oni said, releasing Cay and Tami. They looked at him in confusion, then rushed to their friend's sides.
"What kind of a host would I be, if I had not allowed you all to fight me?" Oni explained with a smirk. Arielle stepped forward.
"We only wish for clean confrontation, if any more than two people attempt to attack Oni at once, I will kill them myself." She said with a sneer. Oni looked at her with a smile. Suddenly a big portal opened up, and Cross stepped out, right in the middle.
"Everyone." He said quietly, "This is not the end just yet, I want to see what you've learned, so..." He took a few steps back.
"I'm going to let you take care of Oni."
