Navi
yeah, i believe 2 new zealand dollars is equivalent to the us dollar round a bit maybe. my friend wanted to buy a scanner, and i told him i already got one, cost $250-$350 i think. he said their scanners cost double that. i couldn't stop laughing. Transtic Nerve
My scanner only cost like... $25.... but ofcourse that was because the store was out of the ones that were on sale and there was a like $40 rebate on this one.... so not only did I get like an expencsive scanner for way below it's original price, but I got money back too :)

Guest Master O Beans
I recomend the "ALL IN ONE" or whatevre they're called... Phone, Fax, Scanner, Printer, Copier, etc etc etc. We have one, and I must say, it's very nice!
DiscoSnorlax
Get a flatbed scanner. Trust me. Try scanning a pic out of a book or off of something hard with a sheetfed scanner.. can't. And I hear the handheld ones are just a nightmare.. Also, try to get a program like textbridge for your scanner. Comes in VERY handy sometimes. That's my advices. Matt.D
We got our's free with the purchase of our PC, but now it's broken...stupid piece of trash...I tell you, when something is expensive, it's expensive for a reason: quality....not always, but i'm not getting into that....you know how it is....
RicoTranzrig
My scanner ran about $250 U.S. It's a large flatbed which is probably the best one to use in terms of quality as opposed to the smaller ones.
Yoda
I don't have a scanner, and it doesn't bother me one bit!
