I'm not sure, but I'm guessin that its supposed to be released on Toonami in the fall this year. It has already been released on DVD though(I saw it at Suncoast yesterday on mu last day at the beach. Unfortunatly, I decided not to get the first DVD of it and decided to get "Path To Power" and "Yu Yu Hakusho The Movie". ^_^). But I'm guessin this fall, but dont quote me on that. Maybe someone will be able to let ya know exactly if they're gonna show it on Toonami or not.

When you get the DVD, make sure you get the uncut version and on it it'll say "Includes 2 Versions. English Uncut Version & Original Japanese Version Subtitled in English" on the right hand side(right about Hachigou's head). That way you'll have the English Dialogue(just like on Toonami), and the original Japanese version.

Well, back to the movie. ^_^

Note: Lets try to stay on subject wit the actual Dragonball Episodes. I'll start a thread about "Path To Power" right after I finish watchin it.

I think Dragonball is anything but childish, it's just that the script keeps on being changed from serious, into childish. Why can't Funimation just do a direct translation. It's already good without them messing it up.

Sorry about that, I'm just upset that Toonami might not put Dragonball in the lineup.

Because a direct translation of Japanese would result in this:

"All your base are belong to us."

When they really meant to say "We control all your bases."

That's a line from a game in Japan. It did okay. So someone Japanese decided to translate the game into English and sell it in America. Unfortunately, we got a direct translation.

It's like how Japanese has few pronouns. Ever wonder why Tomoyo always says "Sakura" instead of "You" or "Your" or "You're" or "Her" or "She" in many CCS dubs? Anglo-saxons/Medditeraineans/Celtai are lazy, we wants simpler things. The Japanese, on the other hand, wanted a flowing and flowery language which I WANT TO LEARN but will never be able to because I can barely get a grip on SPANISH.

Anyway, if you listen to a translated anything, some of the majesty will always be lost. I close with:

"All your base are belong to us."

Urge to kill rising!!! Krillin, or Kuririn, or Kulilin, but never Krillen. I hate that mispell. It doens't even look like it would sound like it. Sorry, I've just been seeing krillen a lot lately.

Anyway, Dragon Ball will resume in October, with the Pikkoro Daiomao Saga. It will just be the 2 battles with Pikkoro, it wont include the 23rd Tenka Ichi Budokai I am hearing, so viewers will still have to wait another year to see the 23rd Tenka Ichi Budokai.

Krillen, Krillen, Krillen.

Tell me, does it sound like Kril-ihn or kril-ehn. Actually, depending on who's saying it, both. Roshi says "Krillin". Goku, young or old, says "Krillen". I'll need to wait for an episode with his name in it's title for me to get a fix on that (The only time I've seen his name spelled out was when androids 19 and 20 were analyzing him, but it said "Kururin", so I don't have a dub spelling yet)
